It's interesting to me how divisive this game is. Some people are absolutely rabid for this game, claiming that it's the peak of the series and will never be matched, and others are wrong.
The flaws of the game (aside from some plot points and decision characters take that makes no sense) is that the dawn brigade isn't as charming as the greil mercenaries sadly. I played this game before path of radiance (i already knew what happened on PoR because a cousin played it while I was watching) so I quickly grew fond of the dawn brigade, but as soon as the greil mercenaries show up I get why they overshadow Miccy's crew, heck even the devs don't reckon the Dawn Brigade, there isn't a single member of the Dawn Brigade on FEH aside from Micaiah and Sothe

@@brozomicki-sothe307is funny how Micaiah is consistently built to One-Shot ever Part 1 boss with Thani except Jarod, they try to mind control you into thinking she should be grinded on

Edward is my precious boy and fav FE character, such a Shame that a potentially broken unit got nerfed pre released because Warth Resolve is nerfed

I will say on the idea of motion controls in RD, it probably would've benefited at least a lil from having the option of using the remote like you would the stylus in Dual Strike and Days of Ruin

Love me some RD, but when the transfers are all maxed +5 HP +2 on all stats and a god Sothe it makes for a very easy game once you start getting PoR characters back, even easier with enemy ranges enabled while people hate it disabled which is understandable it does make the game harder as you might not count for terrain movement cost when it comes to calculating enemy attack ranges which does matter for an Ironman. Just how playing Engage with DLC makes the game so much easier the same can be said for playing RD Hardmode with max transfers as 80% of your roster all get 1 free stat booster of every stat which is very relevant for RD when stat maxing is actually important to the game. Once you get past the first 5 chapters the only real threats to the run for Ironman in part 1 is the Myrmidon that can crit Fiona in 1-6-B for a game over and Micaiah in 1-9 if you don't know the map well.

@@LiroRaeriyo Yeah she sucks it can happen, just like how Jill can die in 1-5 if you have 0 transfers and she does dumb AI things, part of reason why RD isn't Ironman friendly.
To me the transfer bonuses are interesting because it really does make some major differences for some characters.
Boyd goes from a unit that can potentially fall behind if he doesn't get good level-ups early on to a good one right off the bat.
Jill imo only goes into god tier if she has those transfers, without em, her start is fairly slow and makes her more susceptible to stat screwed.
Astrid goes from UNUSABLE to workable with transfers
Illyana, Id argue, has the biggest impact with transfers, with em she can do waaaaaayyy more than not having them, it make her moves up a tier good.

Putting this right now, back when he played FE10 a couple of years ago, Mangs found a way to effectively cheese the penultimate Chapter of Part 1; a crit forged tome for Micaiah.
