There are two female characters that we've seen part of the family too, Jun (Jin's mum) and Asuka (Jin's cousin, kinda). I like Kazuya's design, but prefer the later edgier Jin designs. I dig Asuka's main look a lot too. So I'm gonna say Jin and Asuka are my faves, I like their more urban looks.
In all fairness I have some scars that are the same color and match my skin. Agree with everything else and I probably would prefer a lighter white (scars on my ankle) or the dull pink like on his chest.
Awesome review as always Anthony. The type of articulation at the hands, does that cost more to make? That's the type of joints used by most imports right? Because Jada is using the swivel/hinge combo, these are swivel/hinge/swivel a lot of imports use. Idk if that matters, that's why I'm asking. Just wondering if that may be their "reasoning" for the higher price. Anyway, keep up the awesome work. Your reviews remain at the top of my subscription list.
I had a lot of fun posing this guy, jin is my favorite and they’re gonna do him and king next but I’m not much of a fan of jins new outfit, gloves look odd to me. The exclusive king looks sick tho with all the paint work he’s getting, makes me kinda mad the rest won’t get that treatment
Jinpachi is my favorite family member i would love to see storm do him. The hope they do an SHF line for tekken cause these ones aren't doing it for me especially next to jada.
I would like them to make Yoshimitsu and Brian. I forgot the name of the Grizzly Bear but that would be dope too. They have a great choice of characters, I just hope they improve they paint details and better faces by the time they do those characters.
Ive always wanted 6 inch tekken figures but there’s something about these thats puts me off, I think its the pegs on the shoulders lol. These remind me of the Jazwares MK figures, I rather pay a higher place for a better looking figure than something like this
Really weird batch of decisions. Pinned shoulders and elbows, knees are an internal mechanism with sleeves over it, missed arm paint, completely new sculpt. This figure is all over the place. I really like it and the arm paint is the only think that bothers me, but just a weird collection of choices. Family line is complicated lol. Kazuya has a half brother named Lars and an adopted brother. Personally my favorite is his Grandfather Jinpachi.
This is the sort of figure I would love to own, but not enough to pay full price; so I think I'm going to wait for sales. Just saw King, my favorite character, go up for preorder, and I'm hoping he's as good as or better than what we've seen so far - if so, he'll be the first one I pick up. Thanks for covering these!
If you really love King, save up for the Storm Collectibles version that released last year. Orders of magnitude better sculpt/deco. Anthony did a review video of it, maybe mid October 2022.
He's actually climbing in price for some reason. I paid the MSRP price before it started jumping up to $40+. It's much more affordable than the Storm Collectibles version. I don't mind sacrifices for not having multiple heads or hands
The sculpt does look too soft making them a miss. I wouldn’t know if I could say above marvel legends, but if they added just a bit more detail and paint it would be
@@AnthonysCustoms i have. I just feel this look way too cheap because of the lack for detail. I know marvel legends does as well. But for the few figures that have came out on this line, still not real impressed yet. I’m interested though.
It's unquestionable the figure is pretty good, just not great because the price. I'm definitely considering a Yoshimitsu if they decide to release one.
Can’t believe I’m saying this but Jada should’ve made the tekken figures instead, these aren’t ugly or anything but the street fighter ones are better, and I’ve always loved tekken just a little more 😔
I think the shoulders are pinned because I’m guessing their factory isn’t able to do injection molding. Looking back at their figures, none of them have any injection molding from what I can tell. It still shouldn’t be visibly pinned though.
Insert* molding. Injection molding is just injecting the melted plastic into a mold. But could br the case... Though I'm thinking it's unlikely a matter of can't and moreso a matter of won't. Who knows these days.
Heihachi & Kazuya are from Tekken 7.. The next release of King & Jin will be based on their Tekken 8 look.. Personally I think they should’ve kept it consistant with the Tekken 7 theme but regardless looking forward to seeing how this line develops.. Great review! 👍🏼
The quality of these figures doesn’t blow me away (especially considering they’re closer to $30) but they have a certain charm to them. It’s a nice thought to have a steady stream of Street Fighter/Tekken 6” figures over the next few years instead of just Hasbro crap
If you want to make an exhibition of fighting game characters, this would be a good option because many of the figures are in the 6-inch scale. Unfortunately SC have excellent details and accesories but they're in the 8-inch scale which is too big.
In my opinion, these are perfect for me. They are not as bulky and big as Storm Collectibles, detailed enough to know its Kazuya, would look great with ML, SH Figuarts, and my AEW Figures. Hope it doesn't look too big with my Figma Kyo Kusanagi and Iori Yagami.
@@Nah-T-EBei Its pretty bad. Figmas are known to be pretty small compared to other figure companies. SH Figuart Ryu looks okay with Figma Kyo, but next to Storms Jin, theres a hug difference between the two
I'm a casual Tekken player, so I have no connection to this line- so with that in mind, I'll wait until it drops to $20. My Street Fighter figures need some sparring partners and they shall do nicely in that price range.
It is cool having domestic 6 inch Tekken figures, but the sculpt is too soft for me.
Real soft. It makes them look cheap.
that's what she said
wish he had more paint but it looks fun to pose at least… might get him for my smash bros display

I would replace asuka with kazumi Mishima as asuka is apart of the kazama clan and not direct bloodline
I think it'd be awesome if they did Yoshimitsu. Preferably his Tekken 3 look, or something that's closer to that.
Jada toys should get the mortal kombat license
If this was a marvel legend, those glove beads would definitely be red.
Mhm
My favorite member of the Mishima bloodline is Jin. Always has been my main.
These could've had so much potential but the lack of detail in sculpt and cheap looking paint makes it look bad
Also Heihachi is by far my favourite, the girl you're thinking of is Jun Kazama.
Also I really wish this line didn’t have drop downs. Hate that so much.
It is great for its price. Will collect it selectively over $100+ storm collectibles.
Same!
Agreed
I want Hwoarang and Eddie.
Yeah notable problems with this McDonald happy meal kazuya
In all fairness I have some scars that are the same color and match my skin. Agree with everything else and I probably would prefer a lighter white (scars on my ankle) or the dull pink like on his chest.
I like the proportions but yeah sculpt is too soft, lacking paint, pins showing in shoulders. Maybe they can get better, we will see

Idk about this one chief. Looks like something I’d buy at a Pulgero near my house lol

thoughts on giant man haslab so far?? i know how much you just LOVE the haslabs 😩
I would say it's Tekken 7 Kazuya, looking at those ingame images on the back. Even the Round 1 accessory is from Tekken 7.
I do hope Jada toys tackles Tekken at some point, also drop down hips are overrated
I'm getting mine for 22 dollars, and it's official.
I would like them to make Yoshimitsu and Brian. I forgot the name of the Grizzly Bear but that would be dope too. They have a great choice of characters, I just hope they improve they paint details and better faces by the time they do those characters.
Im 3 months late but the bear i think is kuma

Can't justify buying these since I've been buying the Storm Collectibles Tekken line, but it's good as a cheaper alternative.

Probably not
@@AnthonysCustoms What about the Sh figuarts chainsaw man?
Probably not

I far prefer the Storm Collectibles ones but those are obviously way more expensive than these. Also the colors don’t look right on this one.
Jin for sure. Underrated after they made his dad, for so. E odd reason, more popular and main focus of the games now 🤦🏿♂️
Remind me of dragon stars dbz figures
Same company. At least these have better hips.
Lars is my favorite from the Mishima side of the family
Any idea on how good or bad he scales with the D-arts terry and nintendo figmas? Im still on the fence on buying him because of that.
It's going to scale larger for sure. At 16.5cm that makes these Bandai Namco figures 6.5" tall.
D arts terry would be dwarfed
@@BraveCustoms idk why they made them larger, the cheap stuff they sell from naruti, juan piece and gundams are around 5" as far as I know
@@AnthonysCustomsI hope that new terry from tunshi studio thats Supposably coming isnt as small as the d arts and it actually brings a no hat head
Yeah but it's like 100 bucks isn't it?
Favorite Mishima? Lars. Definitely Lars. Or Lee Chao Lan.
😎👍🏼2 b honest almost any fig company around this price it’s better than Hasbro😒👍🏼
I really wish Jada would do all the arcade lines just like what storm collectibles are doing, bandai US is just garbage
Not worth it for a freakin 6 incher imo
It looks like trash tbh. But I would still buy it.
Overpriced
I dont like his face, the expresion is very lack of life
