    Street Fighter figures, Tekken figures, Mega Man figures, Sonic figures, Mario figures. Video Game fans are winning. All pretty affordable when comparing to Strom and SHF.

      Yea but storm quality is literally 5 times better as they should. I have both lines and they shouldn’t even be compared.

      No one is arguing which is better, their is no comparison. However, when it comes to prices; I prefer the cheaper option myself. Plus Storm takes freaking forever to release figures. @@MrJspecefini

    This iteration of Heihachi is from Tekken 4 through 7 with the iconic gi. They also have the game dimensions Kazuya Mishima as well. Come mid December, they'll be releasing the Tekken 8 version of Jin Kazama which will come with swappable hands and a red lightning effect part.

  • @Novapoid
    @Novapoid Год назад +5

    I'm really happy JADA TOYS' SF line exists. I hope it keeps the quality at the level of their first releases in the future and more importantly, I hope collectors realize they CAN ask for that level of final product if they speak with their wallets. This Heihachi is "decent" but I can't shake the feeling Bandai is always doing the bare minimum in their affordable lines so they don't overshadow the SHF ones (which are most of the times good and sometimes low effort). 27$ for this is a bit high for the lack of paintjob and accesories but then again ppl keep buying Marvel Legends and those are even worse.

    This figure has so much potential.. Its a blank canvas that needs that extra detail to take it to the next level.. Would Love to see you work on this Anthony and create a Custom just so we can appreciate your talents 👍🏼

    Speaking of Soul Caliber, I hope since this line is called "Game Dimensions" they make a SC line since that is Tekken's sister series. I've been hoping for a Nightmare figure (preferably SC4's design) for years and not even Storm Collectibles is providing yet.

    • @AnthonysCustoms

      Man. I can't wait for storm to drop their sc figures. Maybe my most anticipated figures in a while.

  • @Spike0991
    @Spike0991 Год назад +3

    Grabbed the Kazuya from this line for the Smash Collection, and yeah the no paint definitely detracts from the figure overall. Ended up adding a bit of paint to the head myself to make it look halfway decent. But, if you need a close to 6 inch scale figure, then it does the job.

  • @MilesCW
    @MilesCW 11 месяцев назад +1

    Hello. I just got the figure and was also bit skeptical at first... however, I did run on Steam an old game I had for over a decade: Street Fighter x Tekken. I went there for a graphical reference when I'm going to customize the figure a bit. This Heihachi is on point when it comes to design and pose-ability. If you compare it with Jada Toys' Ryu, then they both even match perfectly the given colors, like in the game. For this price point it's a damn good figure actually, especially when you want to mod or customize themselves.

  • @TheMattTrakker

    I hate the ab crunch (aesthetically) they used on these and they definitely look cheap for the price point. I expect these will be down to ~$15 before too long.

  • @AlphaProto
    @AlphaProto Год назад +6

    I hate it when characters in loose fitting clothing have no folds, and creases in their sculpts. It make it looks soft, and unfinished. The folds make it look like real fabric.
    Thats one thing I like about the SOTA Ryu over the JADA. The same goes for this Heihachi.
    No notable folds, just a few pinches in the fabric. It just leaves the character looking boring to look at.

      @AlphaProto Год назад

      @@silentman99 Aside from the joints starting out tight, then super loose. I never had any problems with the fist SOTA releases ( Round 1-4). The sculpts were very nice. SOTA's SF Revolution series was a different story. I've had them hanging on the wall boxed for years. Last year, I said, "What the heck. I think I will open this Dhalsim." Right when I moved the arm, "snap!" WTH! After having, it perfect in box all these years. When I finally decided to open it it snaps on me?! That still hurts. I think the plastic was all PVC. Or the plastic got more brittle as the years went by. SO if you want to fill a spot in your Street Fighter collection with a SOTA figure, avoid the Revolution figures. Even if they have not been opened, they will break on you if you ever do. Also, the Revolution figures have ugly face sculpts.

    I played and enjoyed both 2D and 3D fighters back in my day, but if I must pick it's 2D all the way (now I'm old with crap reflexes and cannot play them to my satisfaction anymore 😂😢). I was hoping you'd review these, as I've been on the fence (note: I'm 100% in on the Jada SF line). I've ultimately decided to be very selective about the Tekken figues and only buy characters that I played regularly and love. Solid review as always, thanks again! 👍

    Well it wouldn't be surprising if Hasbro lied about the thin materials thing. Like when they said that they would still continue with the Ghost Rider Anniversary stuff but as soon as the haslab didn't happen, they didn't continue with any more GR.

    The comparison to Jada is more than fair, but me personally I more compare figures in this price range to Hasbro stuff, and in that regard, I think this is a decent enough start. There are definitely improvements they could implement, though. Here's to hoping the line lasts long enough to see Eddie Gordo! He's my favorite Tekken character.
    I tend to prefer 2D fighters as well.

    I prefer 3D fighting games. I like the slower more methodical style over the sensory overload combos of 2D fighting games. But I completely get the appeal of them, it's just not for me.
    I've seen these on shelves quite a bit and was never sure about them, but this looks okay. It reminds me of the Anime Heroes line, where paint would help a lot and there are some weird engineering decisions that hold back an otherwise great figure. But the price is a bit higher than the Anime Heroes line and I'm not really seeing why. But I'm glad there's a cheaper Tekken line, and I hope it keeps going and improves.
