Finally some outside folk get a taste of our backyard! I live just outside the ODT trail end, and hiked that last 26 or so two weeks ago. This entire area is so magical! Love hearing the constant "there is no water" regularly, LOL, and how it "beats you down every day..." This place is for sure the real deal! So glad it gave you a real run for your money!
The Owyhee needs wilderness or national monument protection! From Oregon; we need to protect one of our last great wild areas in the state, to preserve it for future generations of hikers, campers, and other recreation users. As an avid hiker in Oregon, I fully support the Wild Owyhee campaign. One day soon, we will finally have it protected! It's gonna happen, one way or another.
"A film by Jonathan Byers" Nice to know that Jonathan was able to move forward with his photography dream after his brother was abducted by a monster in Hawkins, Indiana in 1983
I've asked that Math question a lot hiking. Easy trick... the number for the mph and the number for min/mi. must have a product of 60. So 3 mph = 20 min/mi, 4 mph = 15 min/mi., etc.
Great shots and storytelling!! Awesome video!! Any tips for color correction? I am lately trying to focus on this and improve but would definitely appreciate some tips

I'd probably shit myself if I see a rattlesnake
Cool film, but holy warp stabilizer! This madness has to stop!!! Either shoot with a gimbal or accept shaky handheld for what it is!
hah, you should see John Zahorian guys... this is nothing in comparison to him and his adventures
Eastern Oregon is one of the least visited cool places
1 mile every 15 minutes. Four 15 minute segments in an hour.
