@@FriedrichBarb Yup, sticks break so you need to bring 2-3 with you to be safe. Also you need a different stick for playing indoor/gym hockey. Also a different stick for road hockey.

@@FriedrichBarb Yes, you need a stick, a left-handed stick, a goalie stick, and one backup stick, and another one in case your buddy forgets his. You take these with you and leave another set at home in case you accidentally leave your going-out set somewhere else.
And there is also one set for ice hockey, one for road, one for indoors/non-ice.
It is also recommended to have another set of each, in case your maple syrup ruins the sticks.
But Egypt can make as many sphynxes as they feel like 😂🙄

thats assuming youll have tile available for National park. In most of my games I dont think I have ever been able to build more than 2 parks and they were at most random spot you can think of, place where you wont be having lot of fight

Yeah, they'll always have the first era as a peaceful one to build up in.
They have to tweak Gandhi significantly though. Now that Diplomatic victory is possible, his peaceful nature should be a bigger asset than it currently is.

Every time I play Russia. "Oh look, there's the one tundra tile adjacent to my city center I get for my bias."
As Canada I would actually hope to spawn just north or south of tundra, so I can take full advantage of the good land and don't fall behind. Then once all the good land is sattled I can still expand my land into the cold regiions and create massive national parks

First civ since Russia to actually work in tundra
But Russia gets extra tiles and +1 production and faith per tile while Canada gets the ability to construct farms, the weakest tile improvement.... every bonus Canada gets kicks in too late to make them useful I fear.
Russia doesnt really work on tundra imo. They get +1 Production and +1 Faith on tundra but cant buid any farms on them, making them useless unimproved plains tiles with Faith^^ (well, unless you build the St Basil's Cathedral, but its only one city)
@@DickePerserkatze Well Russia want to spawn at like the very edge of the tundra so that they can mostly work the fertile land adjacent to it and then only have to use the tundra tiles with resources on them and/or hills with mines. Using Dance of the Aurora to get massive faith generation for placing your holy sites up there and then in general using all flat tundra tiles for districts instead of having to use grasslands or plains for them is another plus point. So it depends on how you look at it
@@jisookim6904 Russian cities with only tundra won't grow. Farms are one of the most important tile improvements in the game.
Russian bonuses just make tundra a tile with minimal yields that you can take advantage of, not rely on.
Food and housing is really important if you want large cities so farms are not bad. Also the resource bonus gain might be really good depending on the how the new system works. @@jisookim6904

Russia is far from bearable, Russia’s strengths are pretty strong. They make tundra tiles strong plains tiles, which is important. They’re a vanilla civ I don’t think needs much work

There's still, you know, all that stuff that gave the other expansions and dlc's (and base game) bad reviews and bad reception.
"Doing what the community wants", and "Trying to do what they want, but absolutely blowing it" are not the same thing.
Before they attempt something that people are asking for, there is hope that they might deliver eventually. All hope is replaced with disappointment once they've taken a shot at it and completely failed.

Establish the new Canada World Order. Practice Canuck diplomacy to maintain the peace by getting the whole world hooked on hockey, poutine, and maple syrup.
Canada wins Diplomatic victory for saving humanity from ruanaway climate change by making most of the planet into National Parks.

As a Canadian, I was happy with the Cree, and the Haudenosaunee in Civ 5. Obviously this is great! Still greedily hoping for more native North American civilizations too. Maybe a return of the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois)?

Canada can denounce civ. It's the only way they can declare war. But it doesn't matter since they are not a conquest oriented civ, they are Culture/Diplomacy oriented.

Glad we got Canada. I wish we could get Switzerland too. This civ would fit in so nicely with many of the new features. Diplomacy (neutrality) for example and tunnels. They could be able to extract ressources from mountain tiles, build ski resorts as unique tile improvement, and their special building could be the Swiss Bank... cmon Firaxis, please make it happen.
If they add a economic victory in the next expansion, Switzerland should be a civ for that game. Maybe they could even become the Venice-like civ for the game. Imagine if you were only limited to having three cities at the most as them, or something like that, but you got to build an extra commercial hub per city and had the ability to declare neutrality from every war by having trade routes to other civs.
Oh, and if you look at the video again, you'll see the ski resort is a tile improvement now. Much needed. We needed more than just seaside resorts.

Kinda similar to the rough rider for America don’t ya think? Still this unit won’t be very necessary if your going for a culture or diplomatic victor
@@caleblittle27 It can build national parks which usually require quite a bit of faith to get. I dont think these units are meant to be used at combat at all really, they are rather weak compared to the other units i think primarily you will build 3-4 of these and make them buid national parks and station them in the parks as an emergency defense.

This video has netted you a buyer. However I am very rusty, only playing up to Civ III. What is the learning curve from going Civ III to Civ VI?
GreenFenril there’s a lot of new features but the core of the game remains the same. They have done a lot to help guide you through if you elect to keep the tips on as you play through a game. Definitely buy it!
They are v different games at this point. However, if you were able to play Civ III, I imagine you'll be able to pickup Civ VI just fine. :)

True honestly it wasn't until my second time through that I stopped at one and I went outside and screamed at the nearest Canadian because he didn't tell me about it sooner. God Canada sucks there's attendants at a majority of the pumps and they accept tips. I laughed and drove away when I saw the receipt had a tip section. Why would I tip someone for being inconvenient and sketchy?
