    ABOUT CIVILIZATION VI: GATHERING STORM
The second expansion to Civilization VI introduces an active planet where geology and climatology present unique new challenges. Chart a path to victory by developing new advanced technologies and engineering projects and negotiating with the global community in the World Congress on critical issues. The choices you make in the game will influence the world ecosystem and could impact the future of the entire planet. Natural disasters like floods, storms, and volcanoes can pillage or destroy your Improvements and Districts - but they may also refresh and enrich the lands after they pass.

Hi developers. I'd like to suggest the addition in the future of the kingdom of Italy or something more focused on most recent italian times. This because the romans are fine but we as italians do not feel fully represented by them, due to obvious differences between ancient and modern world. Thank you for you job and hope the best for all of you and the game.

That is the most warmongery iteration of the Ottomans yet. They basically get every possible bonus towards war, extra production and/or cheaper units, combat bonuses, gold and strategic resource bonuses, huge loyalty bonuses (!) with an extra governor, the 4 loyalty for conquered cities and no population loss they have the biggest loyalty bonuses in the game. Also the big amenity bonuses are great, +1 for any conquered city is really strong and the +1 from banks is okay, considering that war games are the one type of game where all your starting cities will build banks eventually to provide gold for lategame unit upgrades. And they got a ship (maybe ships are better in Gathering Storm?).
Overall no bonus strikes me as especially strong but together they make for a really strong domination game, however that is everything the Ottomans are going to be good at.

@Koala Eucalyptus So, you mean to tell me none of the other countries in the roster have any other dark pasts? You do realize nations like the US and Germany are in there right, let alone the fact that this is the trailer for Ottomans, who have an even darker past than Turkey ever had.
Also, history is always biased based on the person telling it. Sure, I'm being told the glorious and flawless history of our Republic Era and some other nations who have been on the receiving end of our actions will be less likely to wrap their words in bubble wraps. However, when we look at it objectively, Republic of Turkey in the lead of Atatürk is the one and only nation to be invited to the United Nations instead of applying to join, solely because of Atatürk's contributions to world peace.
I understand it's easy to try to shit on a nation in the comments section, but no need to be a hypocrite. Either complain about all nations with a dark past, or just let it go and look at it from a more objective perspective, rather than the perspective of a single nation. Here, UN's collective decision, obviously is more objective than whatever I learned in a Turkish school or whatever you learned at yours.

Istanbul should be referred to as Kostantiniyye in the game as that was the name of the city when Suleiman was alive. The name Istanbul didn't become the official name until after the Ottoman Fell and Ataturk renamed it.

not really. In the war of independence, Istanbul was taken and re-renamed as Kostantiniyye. but after Turkey got it back, they re-re-renamed it to Istanbul

Not true. The official name was konstantiniye but locally, the city was called Istanbul which was derived from the Greek name stimboli even before the fall of constantinople in 1453. After the fall of constantinople, the word stimbuli pronounced as istanbul with ottoman turkish language but you are right about the official name. The name istanbul was given to the city, officially, when Ataturk established the Turkish Republic. Historically though, it was called istanbul for centuries.

I appreciate your adding Suleiman to the game, and i sincerely thank you but he looks like an indian or arab or smt. I am not being racist but he was a white person as all other ottoman sultans. I know we are associated with arab people but we are an another nation with different physical attributes and we came from central asia. We have our national pride and characteristics. Please consider this while doing smt.

I just want to say to all Turks, you should build more bridges with Europe, I think both the EU and Turkey can be powerfull allies in keeping peace in the middle east. It's sad that complex politics is preventing from the EU and Turkey to become better friends. We should look for a sollution for the Kurds and then move on, the world needs to work better together when they face the difficult challenges in the near future. Some problems can't be fixed individually in the real world. Anyway looking forward to this expansion and playing as Turkey. Peace in the real world!

This one looks like it plays a little more traditionally than the other gathering storm civs, but still extremely powerful. With the ability to build siege units faster, they might almost be rivaling to Zulu.
