Woahhhhh! great stuff Roger! Who would've known that overlooking sealed units like a water heater can create so much sludge! I'll tell ya one thing, My weekend project has just been determined!
Let me know how it goes!
The bottom of my water heater is hot sometimes and not other times, is this normal? (Gas not electric)

Ours you'd have to tear the closet out and pull the wall down to get to. So ours hasn't been touched since it went in when the house was built in 05/06. Or rip out the HVAC and get to it like that.
I have huge respect for plumbers like you, literally having to clean up crap must be maximum of disgusting
I love you video
I appreciate it
Roger does this include the electric water heaters the ones you hang on the wall the square ones
That is a TANKLESS water heater
^^^ and yes, you can and should, still flush those
How do the crickets/roaches survive in a water heater? Can they survive in 130+ degree water?
they don't. they probably infested it when it sat in someone's yard for a few months after if was replaced.
We picked these water heaters up from a local plumbing shop that held on to them for years. So they just infested over time 😅
I assume the crickets have all been named by now? 😂
every last one of them 😅
5 minutes😮
It was a shock to me too!
I never use hot water to brush my teeth
