    Thank you for making this useful video, sir. However I need an explanation of how to decide whether I use first order model or second order model. My model is a bit similar to your example (2 constructs with subdimensions and 2 without subdimension) in the video but I'm not sure if I have to use first or second order. Really looking forward to your opinion

    Assalam o Alikum, I have a question regarding moderating variable. How will we check the reliability and validity of a moderator variable? and next question is if we have a complex model, then we should draw a complete model at once and should apply the PLS algorithm or we use separate variables as I have watched in the video?

    • @researchwithfawad
      @researchwithfawad  2 года назад

      If it is moderator, simply add it in your model, just like all other variables and check for its quality criteria.
      If it is a complex model, you add in all variables at once and then assess the structural relationships. Be it Mediation or Moderation.

    I'm just really having a hard time finding out what are the differences between PLS-SEM and SEM itself. What are the other added or additional steps into proceeding with PLS-SEM?

    • @researchwithfawad
      @researchwithfawad  2 года назад +1

      Partial Least Squares is a method for sem that is implemented using tools like SmartPLS. It is Variance based SEM technique. The other is CBSEM, implemented using AMOS
