I didn't even realise that was SSB until I saw it on the dial, it sounded so good. So many people fail to tune in their radios accurately and it leaves the voice sounding a bit off (at least I believe that's what it is). It's good to hear an example so finely tuned like this.

yeah I agree, this radio sounds great on SSB too which helps :)
That ft290r is sounding great, one of the very first HAM radios I ever used!
