I’ve been asked for many years how I do my binding So I finally got around to making a video on how I do it. From start to finish. If you are familiar with creating the quilt binding you can skip ahead and just see how I sew it on. Or just watch the entire video and hopefully I’ll teach you some tips and tricks. Enjoy.

I have watched many videos on how to do bindings and this one is absolutely the best! Cody covers every step in the process clearly and with great detail. I never thought of pressing the binding twice, and the instruction on how to work with the corners should solve my lumpy corner problem. I have the same machine and can’t wait to follow the recommendations on stitch and feet! If you want to machine bind this is a MUST watch!

I didn't trust myself and cut the binding strips 2 1/4 but 2 1/8 is in fact enough. ;). Since I do not (yet) own the foot you recommend I used the 1D foot and it worked well since it has a notch in the middle that I used as a guide. Thank you so much for your Bernina Tutorials.
