Beautiful work. Loving it all. The button to keep the scissors in place is inspired. My many stabbed fingers will thank you ❤😂. Interesting thread painting technique. Ill be trying that. Its all so wonderful. Thank you ❤
Lovely work. Thank you, for sharing your wonderful skills and inspirations with us. Could you demonstrate how you made that lovely yo-yo with the ribbons on it? Thank you again, always love your videos.
Thanks so much - so much fun creating 🤗 the yo-yos I have included on this one are all vintage pieces so they have a lovely worn look. Cheers, Christine
It’s so beautiful. The key is a wonderful idea. I was thinking you were going to put it on the flap - the weight alone would keep it shut! 😊. So glad to hear Alex is on the mend. 🤗❤️
Thanks Martha - I’ve worked out a great approach for the key. A viewer suggested coating with clear Matt medium which I have done and I’ve attached it to the lower pouch on the diagonal with a little beaded elasticised loop that hooks over the bottom of the key (from a detachable decorative bra strap of all things from my bits and pieces box). Cheers, Christine
Your pouch is coming along beautifully. Gosh love the scissor idea. Thanks for the video. You did buttons oh my right I’m of for another video, how did I miss this.
Lovely pouch Christine, green and pink always look beautiful together. Your pouch will be great holding all your notions. Thanks for sharing my friend ❤ 🧵 🪡

Your pouch looks so beautiful Christine, love your extra pockets, you can never have too many imho and especially love the sweet idea of using your Grandpa's key as a closure, definitely copying that idea :) Glad to hear Alex is home and all went smoothly xo
Thanks Annie - I’ve worked out a great approach for the key. A viewer suggested coating with clear Matt medium which I have done (to avoid rust transferable and I’ve attached it to the lower pouch on the diagonal with a little beaded elasticised loop that hooks over the bottom of the key (from a detachable decorative bra strap of all things from my bits and pieces box). Cheers, Christine

Thank you my dear - I love having my nanna and grandpa close by in little memory prompts 💙🧵🪡 I hope you’re doing well and you’re continuing to feel the pull of the thread to return to your slow stitching - but all in its own time too. Big love 💛
Christine, this pouch is beyond beautiful !!!!!!! Your thread painting is amazing 😊😊 I have been procrastinating for a few days to blanket stitch around a pouch I have made, & I'm glad I did as I will now do the V stitch edging you showed us xxxx TFS XXXXXX Learning SO much from you & other wonderful crafters out there ...... thanks to you all 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗Hope hubby gets well soon 😍
I love that design - your pouch is going to be very handy once it’s finished! Your embroidery painting is gorgeous, and the colours all blend so well. The Key closure is a beautiful touch - and adds so much to the interest of the design!
@@createandcraftwithchristine I can’t wait to see what you do! I was watching and thinking that if I did that, I’d use a wider ribbon, but crossed over, so there’d be an X on the front of the bag. Sort of in keeping with the secret garden theme! Quite by coincidence, I’m planning to have a go at creating a bag or pouch in the next month or two as well. It’s so inspiring seeing the lovely things you and others have created.
Happy to have brought some enjoyment to your chores. You frequently keep me company during craft room tidying and sorting, abd of course crafting. Cheers, Christine
Many thanks 🤗 when closed, the pouch measures about 31cm x 22cm. When laying flat before it is folded and sewed up it measures 31cm x 51cm. Cheers, Christine 💙🧵🪡
