Rachel, Om goodness it's Beautiful! Good job hon. I love listening to your thought process we sewers / or journals crafters -all do it. I so love doing these little projects Together ( Everybody) the crafting family❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Rachel. I just love all your videos. I am 77 and learnt to embroider when I was about 10. Always loved it. I so enjoy this very relaxed way of slow stitching. I always add embellished pockets and bellybands to my journals. So much still to learn and do. Thank You. 🥰🥰🥰
Rachel I’m enjoying doing this project… I’m feeling less and less a newbie.. still going through the first journal of stitchers too I’m so grateful for you.
SOOO NIFTY!!! This might be my favorite slow stitch project so far. The one that Pam gave your sister is absolutely awesome!! So many pieces! Can't wait to see what yours ends up tu be!! TFS! ❤
rachel this is so beautiful. you really inspire me with your combinations. love this project and so happy to be following along. thanks so much! linda from california
YUM! I recently treated myself to a new set of beautiful watercolor brushes. I think I'll make a home for them with this project. I've been hoarding some Dollhouse Vintage fabrics that will be perfect! Thanks Rachel and Sarah! #artforjoysake
Hi Rachel, your pouch is looking just lovely, don't know if I should admit this, with all the sewing I have done over many years I have never made a pouch 😧 so looking forward to creating one, ❤
Beautiful ❤️ I have learned so much with your videos on slow stitching & this project, I,m enjoying very much , you & Sarah explain things very well , layering , stitching , using different threads etc ! Thank you ⛄️
Loving your pouch Rachel and how its all coming together as your adding embellishments. I set off with my pouch with the plan of following your videos when making mine. After your previous video i spent a relaxing afternoon auditiioning my fabrics, then the next day looked at it again and changed everything that I'd arranged and totally rearranged all the fabrics and really liked it, so started invisible stitching everything down. At that point i was going to stop and wait for this video but I came down with an awful cold 🤧and was feeling totally miserable🥴, so i picked up my pouch again and spent the next few days stitching and embellishing and working on my pouch. Even though i was feeling dreadful, working on the pouch kept me busy and took my mind off how i was feeling. My pouch is finished but I'm watching the rest of the videos in this Jan project because I've already got plans to make another trifold but not a pouch this time. 🤔. Its going to take a bit of thinking about before i start. I will post into the Facebook group once its finished, that is as long as my idea works out.
Loving how this is coming along. Love the idea of the pop of red stitching around embellishments and ends of the different seams on your base background fabrics. 😊😊 I've been watching both of you along with a few other ladies and getting some great ideas for my first project. Thanks for sharing. ❤😊
Hi Rachel, what a beautiful selection of fabrics you have to choose from, I love watching you decide on how to put it all together..it’s simply a joy.❤️🇨🇦
Playing with fabric is so much fun. As a quilter this is some of the best steps. Will watch a second time as I decide on the embellishments. Also started a second pouch. 😂 Going to watch Sarah now..❤❤❤
This is my first time following along. Thank you for the inspiration. I have made a little angel book in neutrals, so my trifold is also neutrals, but Im loving your colours
Rachel, I just love watching you create 💗 I have had so many things with my health issues going on I barely know what I’m doing lol I haven’t been able to do much of anything in several years. But I’d love to watch you and others do this. What are your measurements for this pouch? Just beautiful 💗💗💗
You could stitch on the floral to fill it in some. This project is very satisfying and annoying at the same time. There are things I want to do, but when I put it together, I am not sure of it. Thanks for the project suggestions.
Did you just baste the fabric down around the edges or did you do a canvas stitch all over. I’m always torn as to how much stitching to do before embellishing. Do not want to waste time but want to have enough 🤔
I didn't think I would make a pouch....until the proverbial light bulb lit up! I am going to make one I can carry my cell phone in! I am thinking a zipper closure might be safer than a fold over flap, in this case. Maybe it will also hold some small hand-work bits I can do when away from home. [cc to Rachel's YT] [cc to Sarah]

The title doesn't say prompt it says Ep (episode). We number the episodes in the playlist so they can be watched in order. My sister also does videos to show her take on the project so hers is an episode as well. This is the playlist where you can see all of the videos ruclips.net/p/PLjZ7ebk-py2-KRl_IJca7iP1A1Kth4yyF&si=kFj55cT88nWzKGfO . There will only be 6 prompts (projects) one per month. It was all explained in the introductory videos.
@@ACkayla you may have missed it. Both Sas and I have said the prompt is the project so we are not going to tell you what direction to take with it. That’s entirely open for interpretation

I’ve never done a stitching project. Can you use the iron on tape and then stitch? 🦋
I'm not sure you could always try it.
I have no idea how #works and how to share pictures, etc. I did try on instagram but can't find the current challenge, but i am doing a trifold

What is prompt #1?
Did you watch the first video and the introductory videos?
@@roxycreations679 yes I thought the project was a bag and each prompt would be to add something to the bag. Maybe I misunderstood?
@@ACkayla you may have missed it. Both Sas and I have said the prompt is the project so we are not going to tell you what direction to take with it. That’s entirely open for interpretation
@@roxycreations679 ohhh I totally misunderstood. I heard you say you weren’t going to say colors or fabrics but I didn’t connect it to the prompt lol
@@ACkayla no problem at all 😊
