THANK YOU! I now understand the square at the corners. Love this sweet little pattern. I bought some lovely old French toile like fabrics and old linen towels on Etsy and I am piecing them together now. XO
Just purchased your Sidney Pouch pattern. It's such a sweet little pouch. I'm looking forward to making many. When I get my first one completed I will post a picture. I've been watching your videos for close to a year. Thanks so much for sharing your talent with all of us. I love your vintage flair, not to mention your accent. My sister lived in Australia for a couple of years in the 60's. She came home with a love for Australia and shared it with all of us. I don't think I will ever make it there, but you help me to dream about it.
I did it. I am not real great at sewing but I love it. Growing up I didn't have a mother to teach me sewing, cooking 😢 everything I know I have learned on my own. But now there are so many tutorials that inspire me and taught me.. Your daughter is so lucky to have you. Thank you Rachel. 😊
Another beautiful creation! One idea I saw recently was when the bag is inside out, when you make the little triangle seams across the bottom, if you stitch the lining and good side together at that place - when you turn them inside out the lining is attached at the bottom which means it doesn’t pull out. It’s a bit hard to explain!
I just discovered your bag pattern, and have one cut out and ready to go. I have collected vintage embroidery (pillow cases, stand scarves, etc) and this sweet pouch will be a great way to save and use them into something practical that will make great gifts. Thanks so much for sharing!
Thank you so much for sharing. I will purchase my pattern and am so excited to get started on some of these. You are a blessing, love to watch all your projects. Thank you for your patience and great ideas. blessings to your New Year.
Hi Rachel! I love your little Sydney Pouch bag! It is so cute, and a great size for keeping bits and bobs of all types of things together and organized. I don't have a sewing machine yet, as I'm saving money for one right now. In the future I plan to buy this pattern from your Etsy shop & make this one of my first projects with the new machine. I could try hand sewing this, but I think it will be made so much better using the machine. Thank you for the video & clearly explained instructions to complete the pouch. The video will be very helpful, "once I have all of my ducks in a row". Great job Rachel! You are awesome! TFS I am anxious to try to make this Sydney pouch for myself and as gifts for others! I will let you know when I finally can get one done. Take Care & Happy Creating! Samantha
What a nice video I am happy it found me so much detail into and they are so lovely, if i ever find the time i will love to make myself one only one yes to say I did it. I love to say this when I do a project that i thought was a bit difficult for me, so I will see.
I've made a few of these and love them. Wish I had seen this video prior to making mine. I did have an issue with something, now I can't remember, and this video would have helped so much. I did manage to figure it out though. You show in detail how to put this together. Now I want to make more. By the way where do you find your antique or vintage fabrics. I just adore some of them.

Thank you so much! I search on Etsy and I was buying from some sellers on Instagram but lately they haven't been selling as much.
What is the fabric that you use for base fabric of your collage, the cream and the beige please
Or cotton or hemp it depends
I bought your pattern I was wondering what size paper you used to print off your pattern
I just print it on regular A4 copy paper. Thank you so much!
