lol. I thought it was something from Russian culture . . . that it was a Russian thing to say "goodnight" before killing someone . . . but maybe I thought that because Stukov said it with a Russian accent.
You can go beyond that. A God that is beyond Reality. So much so that "Reality" is only the Dream of this God. THAT is as Lovecraftian as it gets :P I can't remember its name, but it's the supreme being of Lovecraft's world. Even the most powerful Outer Gods are but the dream of this One Supreme Entity.

That last moment with him and Narud tastes so sweet. Thinking about all the ways Narud royally @#%ed up Stukov's life, and he just end it with a casual "good night".
This exactly - Artanis and Kerrigan came across a tomb of the Xel'Naga the first time around on Ulnar, so if they just didn't die, it would've been...well, lackluster. Everything after would've just not made much sense.
@@KaiHarper89 I actually wonder how Amon killed them all, in that one place. When they killed Amon, he was surrounded by void crystals. Why weren't the others also protected by void crystals? Did Amon kill them somewhere else and then just dump them there, like it was the janitor's or cleaner's storeroom? One more thing . . . do dead Xel'naga have a smell? When humans die, they eventually decompose and let off an odor. Artanis and Kerrigan didn't say anything about that, however. Just saying. I'm surprised that they didn't say something like . . . arrgghhhh . . . it smells quite bad in here . . . like someone died.
Lowko, whenever you hear someone talk, you should take a look at the minimap because something starts happening somewhere. Blizzard use voice cues to inform you when something is about to throw down. For example, every time Narud says "Terrans/Zerg R bad" he starts sending a Void Thrasher to that race's base. in fact, you should just check the minimap more often in general.
'Terrans/Zerg R bad' that's just a perfect fit with my headcanon from the last Legacy of the Void mission that Amon is just a really BM Starcraft player with the way he's always insulting your race and manages to lose despite all his advantages XD.

Jim Raynor: "Sarah I just got over the whole wings able to impale me thing, I just got past the scales/exoskeleton, That weird purple glitter that'll never wash off, now you're going to turn into the equivalent of a wall of flesh and tentacles? I can't shag that!" Sarah Kerrigan: "I must follow my moral compass!"
Ouros said: "the fallen one" not a Xel'Naga. Narud was far weaker than Amon and weakened even more before Stukov finally killed him with psychic blast.
It's been a while since I played SC2, but from what I remember, Narud/Duran was a powerful being with characteristics like those of the Hybrid, but wasn't Xel'naga or even one of the regular Hybrids. If Narud/Duran was really a Xel'naga, he would have been doing what Amon was doing. Besides, Xel'naga need a body and it takes a lot of work to get one. Narud got his by cheaper means, so he's obviously a lesser being.
TBH ever since Husky Starcraft left RUclips I really didn't have any source of Starcraft until a few years later and now here I am watching lowko and for some reason when I watch one of your videos you reminded me of Husky Starcraft so Thank you and for all you've done on RUclips
The first epilogue mission is seriously one of my favorites. Lowko nailed it: it feels like an epic, combined assault, slowly taking territory, watching each others' backs, working towards defeating a common enemy.
He also finished Swarm and Void back then but it's more fun to watch this version because now he's also been through the SC1 campaign so he finds more references. And also he doesn't remember the first playthrough, so his opinions are entertainingly different.
brother Jerian bot really, tassadar was 100% protoss, and died, ouros is simply a xel naga that disguised himself as tassadar, so tassadar isnt a xel naga at all

To explain, they didn't plan this out from the beginning. They wrote themselves into a corner in that they needed someone Zeratul would trust after reading the Overmind's memories and to make him change his opinion on Kerrigan and the Swarm, and Tassadar was the only character they could think of. Changing Tassadar's projection into a xel'naga taking on his form was a fairly clever saving grace on the writers' part though. The original Tassadar is well and truly dead after he drove the Gantrithor into the Overmind and channeled both High and Void (Dark) energies to destroy its own ability to reincarnate. "Into The Void" is very hit and miss in regards to lore, but I will say this much... this is wonderful closure for Stukov.

Its Probably easier to think of it as something along the lines of a VR game for the Xel'naga, their true form remains with in the void while they project an avatar of their self into the universe in which they want to interact, once the avatar is killed they basically log out and go back to the void.
Did they out of sudden just pulled the "No Kerrigan we can be together for once and for all forever" line? It's like they can't decide what to do with Raynor tbh
great episode, it's the second or third time i heard you ask about the story line from SC, so while i can't say i know if they know everything in advance or not, i can tell you that while in devlopment a lot of SC changed for example, the idea that each game will be it's on chapter per race (WOL, HOTS, LOTV) came more then a year after the game was announced, but more importantly when wings of ) liberty came out, legacy of the void was suppose to be about zeratul, uniting the protoss (same general concept different hero) which shows you how much the story changes as you "write it down"

"What does Raynor have to do with anything?" That's exactly the point. He's a regular ass humie with no importance, Narud is trying to intimdate him with that.
I think he cant cuz theres no body for him so he would be instantly killed or left as a mind. PS love this channel. I been watching for so long and got back into the game cuz of you. Thank you so much for getting back into the game i love to play and watch
About the writing: I dont think anyone has everything planned and written so far in advance. There are hooks you may plan or natural hooks that arise. I think Duran was one such hook. They made someone that had no clear motives and they expanded on it. The same way you make a spire in advance even though you dont really know if you will need those spire units immediately.
Pssst, in Brood War, Duran says "Goodnight" to Stukov before he kills him, this it all came full circle with Stukov's revenge
To be precise. Duran says "Say goodnight Stukov".
And now he has.
It's pretty brutal. The same guy who shot Stukov captured, tortured, and experimented on him later. Definitely some bad blood between those two.
lol. I thought it was something from Russian culture . . . that it was a Russian thing to say "goodnight" before killing someone . . . but maybe I thought that because Stukov said it with a Russian accent.
So, the Xel'Naga are an entire race of Cthulhu people... Dream come true!
They are basically outer gods, literally living in the voids of space. I don't know what's more Lovecraftian than that.

The first epilogue mission is seriously one of my favorites. Lowko nailed it: it feels like an epic, combined assault, slowly taking territory, watching each others' backs, working towards defeating a common enemy.
Lowko got all of the expansion in this campaign. This is such a different playthrough from all those years ago, you have grown so much.
Oh yes Lowko. This 2.nd mission and cinematic are my almost favorite cinematic of all Starcraft. You will see this.
Edi Kovacic yh it's brilliant
Please do the Nova missions again, we need the story stuff
My favorite bit is the fact that Stukov referenced Duran's last words to him. "Say goodnight, Stukov"
Remember the missions from Zeratul in Wings of Liberty.. how he found Tassadar's spirit at the Overmind's corpse.
This is a continuation of that!
But Lowko... we need a new covert ops play through

he already did it AND RECORDED IT ON HIS YT CHANNEL
I know. I watched those videos right when he uploaded them and because of this used the word "new".
The cycle must not be broken, Lowko must keep playing the StarCraft campaigns.
Tassadar: Zeratul led you to free me
Lowko: Did he thought? I feel like I'm being memed
*The 3 faction are discussing how to destroy Amon*
Lowko: dAt AsS
that feeling when one of the most iconic characters turns out to be a big cluster of intestine membranes
cool plot twist though

Yeah, They surely could have put a little more effort in the xelnaga design like it was showed in the WoL Zeratul's Cinematic.

"You have our blades kerrigan"
"AND MY AXE!"
Amazing gameplay Lowko.

What I can see being really cool is havok's buffing Siege tanks
As I remember, Duran said something like "Good night , Stukov" before he killed him. This badass Russian remembered it!
You no playing covert ops? But Alarak is in there...
Lowko entered the Void :D
17:39 lowBlind :D you do have recon beam
300k my dude congrats my dude
Hope the next come soon :) never did the epilogue in brutal. PS : you are awesome
Reynor: "we can't kick this can down the road any longer..."
Artanis: what is this 'can' you speak of?
Grats on 300k subs dude!
2:29 LOWKO! Stahp it

Never ending Lovestory. ... poor Raynor
At the endo f story Raynor take Sarah K. uninfested and free. They leave and go on secret place. Why is he Raynor poor than ???
Ssh, no spoilers! Not everyone's gotten that far yet!
I always took that as symbolism for Raynor committing suicide. Bit dark but makes more sense.
Andrew Zell,
I don't know about that. His body would have probably been found if he commited suicide, and the last line mentioning Raynor explicitly says that he "was not seen again".
I choose to believe that he wasn't just hallucinating.
Yeah. Someone would have found his body either slumped over the bar table, or in a ditch.
Kerrigan, meanwhile, is a Xel'Naga by the end of the story. And we have plenty of examples of their shapeshifting abilities. Duran, Narud, Ouros... Amon is also implied to have done it in the past, though doesn't do it in the games.
She would have the ability to whisk them away somewhere without anyone knowing it was them.
It takes a lot more assumptions to fit 'drunken suicide' with the 'never seen again' ending. Occam's razor being what it is, we should assume what happens is what is immediately apparent: A genuinely happy ending from a company who has a history of making bittersweetness.

- Let's do those shield upgrades
*clicks on shields upgrade when there wasn't any vespen gas, forgets to that later*
anyway you've crushed them with ease!))
3:31 feels weird seeing all of the flying things at one's. A flying flesh flying ship and a lot of floating metal at ones.
Hell,,,,,, its about time ;)
@lowkotv in my opinion the 2nd mission is the hardest one :)
Hubert Bernacki the secong mission is extrenely easy because you have a instawin button that you can press with no cooldown at all
Yh but it can't kill all the smaller units, so the second one is easily the hardest one
you can kill whatever you need to kill, big or small, untill you have such a dastardly amount of static defense that you base quite literally defend itself, you can pass it with 120 population in hard, i have done it.
It would be hard without kerrigans death beam, but with it? piece of cake.
none of them are actually hard :P 2nd mission is easy, spam siege tanks, command fortresses and place TONS of AA at the protoss base. #profit
Ok :)
the next mission is the hardest imo, the last one you just need to spam brood lords. also do covert ops lowko!
300k SUUUUBSCRIBEEEERS!!!!!!!!! CONGRATS, LOWKOOOO, YOU DESERVE THIS AND MUCH MOREEEEE!!!! =D
also prepare yourself Lowko because Kerrigan's "behind" is about to get buff up alot
20:33 "In the multiplayer it's a lit-t-t-t-t-t! Reconstruction beam, baby!"
I'm early again and so excited to see the epilogue. It was an amazing campaing. Keep up the good work Lowko!
17:40 "Sadly don't have a reconstruction beam or anything, right?" *points at top-right corner*
Artanis: Oh, I thought that this was my dead friend but it was not I guess...it is okay I guess.
1:17
That scene makes me so happy.
Great playthrough Lowko, really enjoying it!! You should play Borderlands 2 next, funniest FPS coop ever!!!
Ohhh artanis's girlfriend is not patient xD
Yandere Selendis had won in the end i guess
Why not both then? Huehue~
and Rohana joins the party
syn blades so then it's a love square huh?
harem end
How to play professional Protoss:
Step 1: Produce mass Voidrays
Step 2: [A] + [Click]
Step 3: Meet Ravens
Step 4: Lose
I don't know what to do when this campaign is finished :(
Multiplayer?
Panic?
Command and conquer?
same
Play the campaign urself in brutal?
Lowko will you consider an lp of Red Alert series?
That moment when Ouros casually calls the protoss '' primitive beings''
He's a God.
Creating them, literally saw a billion Version of them in super huge Mulitverse-Style.
Ofc there are primitive.
Stukov being the one to finally kill Duran brings joy to my Brood War heart.
Gratz to 300k Subs
FINALLY HE POSTED IT WOOO

"What does Raynor have to do with anything?" That's exactly the point. He's a regular ass humie with no importance, Narud is trying to intimdate him with that.
The only problem with this playthrough that its going to be over
Vs amon and narud you should employ the same tactic as vs saltyseal, beat them until they start giving up when they see you. Lowz

Lowko: Sadly we don't have Reconstruction Beam
Me: Bruh
I think he cant cuz theres no body for him so he would be instantly killed or left as a mind. PS love this channel. I been watching for so long and got back into the game cuz of you. Thank you so much for getting back into the game i love to play and watch
About the writing: I dont think anyone has everything planned and written so far in advance. There are hooks you may plan or natural hooks that arise. I think Duran was one such hook. They made someone that had no clear motives and they expanded on it. The same way you make a spire in advance even though you dont really know if you will need those spire units immediately.
I struggled more with some of the mid WOL campaigns than with the LOTV last 3 missions. Brutal of coarse.
"That's the ugliest Pokemon I've ever seen"- Lowko 2018
Matt Horner: You should clear out those areas so we can set up forward bases
Lowko: I wonder if there are any expansions...
