Heh, probably true. I'm constantly amazed by how completely he forgets and/or misses stuff. In spite of saying "I have to try everything" he's been using energizers since the mission where he first unlocked them, and I have yet to see him actually warp-in to an energizer's power field. Even though he uses warp prisms in versus and the energizer is the only equivalent of the prism in the campaign. And now that he's unlocked the matrix speed boost, he can literally just pylon-mode one or several energizers to claim the benefit, then revert it when everyone is out of range. It's not like they even lose the ability to chrono-boost your units in that mode. Oh well. Half the fun is watching him struggle with things I find totally simple and still outperform me overall.
Lowko difficulty is a special game mode only available to lowko in which the most obvious things are obscured lowko has mastered this special difficulty so he can still outperform us
If you hang out in the Solar Core long enough, a damaged probe moves towards Karax, who exclaims "what has happened to you?" before repairing it. It can happen multiple times, and I think Karax gets more and more bewildered each time, probably wondering what on earth the probe is doing! EDIT: Ahem... not what on earth... what on AIUR?!
Didnt realize it earlier, but its all clear reference to episode 6: forest moon, giant super-weapon station on the orbit and generator that shields station from surface
Even Ulnar within the Alterian Rift isn't exactly original either... a place that houses your god inside a field that's supposed to rip you to shreds... that's Star Trek V: The Final Frontier.
There are even Ewoks on the map. Yup, im not joking, you can easily test it in moderate difficulty with a single Phoenix. A couple are west of the expansion zerg base, but more are scattered all over the map.
yeah that would have worked like magic. its not thaaat micro intensive. I mean all he did was A-move anyway. You just have to transform it and then transform it back straight away. They get a sweet boost for 15-20s. Seems super good.
He likes it but he also likes to have stalker and blink them in and out so he can do it. Plus he will be able to have his overcharge for his economy booster and it is not like he can not have one just in 'siege mode' like a tank and make the laser girafe just go take the boost before engaging. He will also be able to warp in reinforcement like a charm.
This mission has so many Star Wars references. Endion - Endor, both forest worlds, the purifier ship - Death Star, both large space bases that have a shield generator on the ground, they made colossi for the “Empire”
11:30 gotta say, spot on built for the mission if u r interested, u could try the "reconstruction beam" with the purifier zealots and ascendants. Since the zealots are kinda a robotic unit, the beam repairs them where normal zealots wouldnt. Using then Sacrafice on them with a Ascendant, they get back to full health and ready to fight
Did a complete playthrough of the entire campaign yesterday, and gave a composition a try. Ascendants, Colossi (Or Immortals), Energizers, and Sentinels as a mineral dump. Then getting the Reconstruction Beam since most of the army is mechanical. Then mass Ascendants and use their sacrifice ability on the colossi and immortals to quickly regain lost energy. It's SO good!
Thing is, it combos with Warp Harmonization beautifully since Energizers can transform to project a power field to warp shit in. It's EXCELLENT. Imagine something like this in Coop.
Lowko, with the Sentinel zealots, Reconstruction Beam is crazy. Think of all the times you've had groups of Void Rays or Zealots or Stalkers with low health? A couple of storms won't mean much if your units just heal back up afterwards.
I like that the Megalith helps you out on this mission, and is powerful enough that it doesn't feel like the bad kind of escort mission. It's practically a Colossus with less attack power but far more health and shields.
Well... there are a lot of RTSs to play yet. He could start with some Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 or 3, Battle for Middle Earth 2, Age of Empires HD? Maybe Age of Mythology, Warhammer 40K... Ehere are lots of games and stories he could use to pass time.
Mmh... yeah, but the fist time was more like a Playthrough with no interest in the story. When he played Starcaft 1, Warcraft3 and now Starcraft 2, he showed more interest in the story. No need for do a do-over.
The synergy between reconstruction beam and ascendants is nothing to scoff at, Lowko. It lets you take health from mech units like zealots or immortals then repair them and spam ascendant abilities. Energizers to warp in units, and you have a strong ground army since you can snipe air.
Lowko I know its a few years ago but the boost from standing in the pylon lasts 15 seconds AFTER you exit the pylon radius. You could have microed your colossus into it then A moved into the base.
Hey lowko the next mission(the one with the carriers) has this really cool easter egg. On the platform controls go up up down down left right left right when u are given the chance to. It summons a pretty cool marine. See it for ur self. 😀
The starting supply boost is surprisingly strong. Having basically an extra 250 minerals at the beginning of the game helps snowball your economy on most of the missions.
I run usually with destroyers, energizers, sentinels/avengers, and matrix overload. Deployed energizer fields count as pylon fields and they still cast their energy charge. It's insane. You could really use any comp, but if you run energizers/matrix overload and use those micro abilities, you should see some spectacular results. The mothership and/or carriers are probably completely awesome with those buffs.
Hi Lowko, in the near future you will come to the mission where you first get carriers. In that mission you control a moving platform. if you go up, up, up, down, down , left, right, left, right or basically the konami code you will see the probably best easter egg of the lotv campaign. Love your vids, keep it up
Lowko energizers count as pylon if my memory serves well you can turn them into pylon and boost your army with that passive too... thats actually broken XD lowko you just did one of coolest combos in game well done :D I was like "do not understimate it, do not underestimate it pls" after all its massive boost for no cost. its just that requires pylon
Just a heads up, the boost counts while with in an energizers power field so it becomes pretty easy to have the boost available, assuming you don't mine seigeing up your energizers before an engagement. They'll still provide their speed boost too and you can warp in!
5:40 u get somekind of unity there, probably just not what Artanis and or Vorazun expect in the end I personally like so far how blizzard shows this kind of change in the units. While the Taldarim only stole technology, u can see how Artanis templer embraced the ways of the Nerazim and created their own dark templer typ. And the Nerazim using the imortal technology from the templer to be closer to the void (or death I guess)
In the mission Templars charge (the one with the moving platform.) You need to move the platform up, up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right! You won't regret it lol
the ascendants does not get stronger in the campain when using sacrifice but if you play with sentinel (zealot) you can use it on them and use the reconstruction beam they will heal up from 1 hit point, just a little tip :) might be too much "micro" for you ;)
The best way to use Ascendant's Sacrifice is on Sentinels. Make sure you have things to repair them: Reconstruction Beam or Carriers. There is no Power Overwhelming in the Campaign.
@Lowkotv The combination of the Increased range void rays + the colossis + the Havoc sentry make for a very interesting result, having MASSIVE range between all those. It is extremely powerful on missions like the one where you have to slay the sliver shards on the avatar mission, for instance.
Don't completely knock the reconstruction beam. It's fantastic on the mission where you get carriers since you need to clear the map with a handful of them.
Oh this Star wars references in this mission. We have to destroy a Shield emitter of the Protoss empire to disable a shield around a gigantic battle station in the orbit. And the local semi intelligent lifeforms fight us
nah omnicron die die like they can't have their personality back if properly destroyed and terminators lack personality they more like armored core chief and 9 ball
I think the Matrix Overload ability also works with the energizer's pylon field / phase mode. that way, you don't have to keep warping in pylons throughout the map.
A giant circular weaponized space ship, said to be the most dangerous weapon, hanging out above a forest planet and getting shielded from its surface - forcing the good guys to disable it from down there in order to access the station... Yeah...
Berry I also don't get why the cybernetic core got air upgrades instead of ground upgrades but the fleet beacon got no really necessarily upgrades (I just don't count the Phoenix and the carrier one as necessary)
I don't even bother building carriers, the interceptors get ripped to shreds by parasitic bomb and liberators, plus not as strong as BC's and need more minerals, they also take almost twice as long to build than tempests, unless they fixed that?
that combo of spell was really nice (i kind wonder if energizer in warp mode (that mode that give energie for warp in would give the bonus form Matrix overload)) Any way Try the Adept next time they are smaller may be you can masse them pretty well whit some imo for tanking.
I just realized that this mission is a big nod to the starwars scene where they have to deactivate the generator in the forest moon of Endor (Endion, get it?) to take down the shield protecting the death star. Likewise here, they have to deactivate the generator on Endion to take down the shield protecting Cybros to gain access to the purifiers inside. Well played blizzard. :)
Does Lowko knows that he can use the Energizers like a Pylon to warp in units? Aside from that protoss stim, that makes the Energizers to be the most OP support unit of the entire trilogy.
The energizers can turn into pylons right? Maybe they would give you the matrix overload bonus and that could be quite exploitable. That would be an insane way to stop through hybrid.
A rebel force disabling a shield generator on a forest moon the get to a giant space station. Why hasn’t anyone ever thought of this before? Heh... Endor-I mean Endion.
Reconstruction beam with Carriers is insane Lowko you should try it Edit: spoilers for Carriers Carriers have repair bots for passive + contruction beam basically make your army immortal
To be honest, Laser giraffes with their tiny limbs SHOULD NEVER attempt to move that fast. They are in general 10 stories tall and that speed of movement would definitely break their legs.
when you give energizers matrix overload they become stim drones. their power field activates matrix overload last time i played
I was thinking about this but thought that Blizzard would not have made the energizers that strong
it does, and this way he could cut the Warp in Reinforcements and get Chrono surge again
I would think you'd have to put them in phasing mode first...
of corse, that is the plan :)
for overload yes, but not for chrono boost
UPVOTE THIS;
Energizer's set up create powered up area around them. That synergizes with +movement speed and attack speed in 5th solarite core column!
11 minutes in ... Any bets on how many episodes it takes before Lowko remembers the energizers also provide pylon power?
Valtur until everyone and their grandparents start shouting that lowko is an idiot because he didnt realize it
Heh, probably true. I'm constantly amazed by how completely he forgets and/or misses stuff. In spite of saying "I have to try everything" he's been using energizers since the mission where he first unlocked them, and I have yet to see him actually warp-in to an energizer's power field. Lowko difficulty is a special game mode only available to lowko in which the most obvious things are obscured lowko has mastered this special difficulty so he can still outperform us
he actually did use the warp-in ability of those Units in one of the first missions he played with'em ;)
Valtur yes, still overpower us. Handicapped lowko is still way too powerful to deal with for a bronze league hero.
It's his secret way to build Probius. ^^
Also, in a later scene he appears fixing a Probe as well.
He fight in Nexus XD
Illegal underground probe fights, remember to only buy free-range probes, then you know they've been treated humanely.
0:48 man those zealots with their visors look absolutely badass!!
they are even more badass when you realize that they giant axes and not little blades
And they have a super sick looking armor with a Shield and Axe.
Sucks that the in game ones are not as bad ass as they are in the cinematic.
AndyH 1 Then you would barely need to make anything else...
Hopefully they make the glorious badass zealot skin later.
'The forest world of Endion' ...yup, very creative Blizzard :P
Didnt realize it earlier, but its all clear reference to episode 6: forest moon, giant super-weapon station on the orbit and generator that shields station from surface
Even Ulnar within the Alterian Rift isn't exactly original either... a place that houses your god inside a field that's supposed to rip you to shreds... that's Star Trek V: The Final Frontier.
And wats his name said strong weapons of the enpier 20:30
Blizzard designed this level as a deliberate homage to the Star Wars movie
There are even Ewoks on the map.
Yup, im not joking, you can easily test it in moderate difficulty with a single Phoenix. A couple are west of the expansion zerg base, but more are scattered all over the map.
For ravanscar on the platform do
Up up up down down left right left right
Then press do not touch!
Like so lowko can see!
I'm always so happy when a new episode comes out. I behave like a child on Christmas. Am I the only one? ._.
Nightmarcher No I am to
Enegizers can become pylons on the move right? try to use that in combination with the boost matrix, want to see if that'll work.
Can Energizers in stationary forms get the benefits of Matrix Overload?
yeah that would have worked like magic. its not thaaat micro intensive. I mean all he did was A-move anyway. You just have to transform it and then transform it back straight away. They get a sweet boost for 15-20s. Seems super good.

Reconstitution beam works great with Ascendants sacrifice
Yeah, if they use it in mechanized units.
0:54 Protoss with robe and wizard hat

...not to be confused with the Great Protoss Book of Cheese...
11:30 gotta say, spot on built for the mission

After Nova? My guess is Warcraft 3.

He Already did that. Right before Starcraft.

Just a heads up, the boost counts while with in an energizers power field so it becomes pretty easy to have the boost available, assuming you don't mine seigeing up your energizers before an engagement. They'll still provide their speed boost too and you can warp in!

Collossi vs. Terrans = The War of the Worlds.
31:38 that is one brave zerg "Colossus"
Rookie mistake colosus
As the ultralisk hits the photon canon
5:40 u get somekind of unity there, probably just not what Artanis and or Vorazun expect in the end

Lowko take "Matrix overload" and "Energizer"
By transforming the energizer you can have both buffs
LOWKO! Energizers can make power fields like pylons that buff units with Matrix Overload!!
31:40 @LowkoTV did you just called an ultralisk a colossus?
That first minute felt so satisfying
Damn what a beginning that mission was so quick
thats a pretty neat setup, I like how you try new thins. keeps the campaign pretty fun to watch!
i really love the way u play outside of the standard
keep it up
The taldarim phionic warrior sacrifice Can combine with recunstruction on the purifire sentinels
You should really try warping in a mothership when you gain access to it.
The animation of it just appearing mid air is pretty cool.
the ascendants does not get stronger in the campain when using sacrifice but if you play with sentinel (zealot) you can use it on them and use the reconstruction beam they will heal up from 1 hit point, just a little tip :) might be too much "micro" for you ;)
The best way to use Ascendant's Sacrifice is on Sentinels. Make sure you have things to repair them: Reconstruction Beam or Carriers. There is no Power Overwhelming in the Campaign.
Happy to see he finally picked warp harmonization, best option in the third tree by far imo
fascinating... ive managed to start watching since your WoL playthrough a few weeks ago and still managed to keep up
when the first cinematic ended, i just said "good old Alarak" and you said it exactly when i did and i laughed an hour
Reconstruction beam is the only form of healing protoss units get. If you have sentinels, then every unit either heals, cloaks or casts spells.
I'm pretty sure that the post field buff also works in the energizer power field
You can use energizer power field mode to act as a boost too if i not mistaken
"The Enterprise of Idun forest battle of Endor" load out was the best it has been in the Legacy of the void.
Every time Fenix dies he comes back stronger!!
@Lowkotv The combination of the Increased range void rays + the colossis + the Havoc sentry make for a very interesting result, having MASSIVE range between all those. It is extremely powerful on missions like the one where you have to slay the sliver shards on the avatar mission, for instance.
Lowko, loved experimental solarite build, have a like my good man!
Don't completely knock the reconstruction beam. It's fantastic on the mission where you get carriers since you need to clear the map with a handful of them.
Ah, my favorite mission in the entire SC2.
@ 30:00 was that a SCBW flying Queen?!
SquirrilahFish Yes it was, the Zerg A.I. in the campaign and the co-op missions use the Brood War queens.
Oh this Star wars references in this mission.
We have to destroy a Shield emitter of the Protoss empire to disable a shield around a gigantic battle station in the orbit. And the local semi intelligent lifeforms fight us
Lowko you can try to use the Enerigzer transformation because its force field works like a pylon and works great with Matrix Overload n.n
So essentially they are protoss' version of terminators,or omnicrons from overwatch....
nah omnicron die die like they can't have their personality back if properly destroyed and terminators lack personality they more like armored core chief and 9 ball
I was thinking they were a lot like the Geth.
Necrons Prometheans bla bla bla
Actually they are most similar with Forerunners’ Prometheans.
@Lowko, you forgot to look on abilities of Nerazim Void ray in War council.
They are not the same as in first mission with them.
I think the Matrix Overload ability also works with the energizer's pylon field / phase mode. that way, you don't have to keep warping in pylons throughout the map.
18:35 the way he said "Surface"
A giant circular weaponized space ship, said to be the most dangerous weapon, hanging out above a forest planet and getting shielded from its surface - forcing the good guys to disable it from down there in order to access the station...
Yeah...
Havocs (Taldarim Energizers/Sentries) give more range to nearby unit further boosting Colossi range.
No similarity to "The forest moon of Endor" at all ... :)
Blizzard should add robo warping to MP, but it should cost like 300/300 and 120 secs to upgrade in twilight council
Berry imho it should be researchable in the robo-bay. Same goes for the stargate it should be researchable in the fleet beacon.
yea that works too
Berry I mean then we've actually got reasons to build those buildings without tossing a Hugh amount of resources just to unlock 2 units
From my POV the Colossus shoot lasers from their ears.
So Lowko really didn't get it? Forest Moon? Shield over a Space station?
And Artanis and his boys are trying to disable the stasis grid. Does that turn him into Rebel Scum?
Also the planet is called "Endion" i believe.
Yeah they are Rebel Scum rebelling against a dark god ;)
That's not moon, that's a-
Oh, that, that is a moon
You're forgetting that Energizers can be makeshift Pylons to warp in units and also provide the as/ms buff :')
that combo of spell was really nice (i kind wonder if energizer in warp mode (that mode that give energie for warp in would give the bonus form Matrix overload))
Any way Try the Adept next time they are smaller may be you can masse them pretty well whit some imo for tanking.
anyone noticed how close Endion sounds to Endor? You know, the planet that also housed generator protecting big space thingy? :)
There are some "Star wars" easter eggs on the map. You can actually see some ewoks hidden on the forest. You need flying units to reach them though.
Does Lowko knows that he can use the Energizers like a Pylon to warp in units? Aside from that protoss stim, that makes the Energizers to be the most OP support unit of the entire trilogy.
32:40 poor zealot and dragoon got trapped by mineral line.
Hey Lowko, can You check if energizers in phase mode can boost Your troops? That could be useful
Hey lowko you know that when the energiser turns into the pylon mode it gives you the speed up form matrix overload as well?
just saying, matrix overload does work with energizer and can cast its spells while in pylon mode
Aka rack is considerably the weaker link in coop, as if he’s about to die, he will takes the life of the entire army (from ascedent to colluses)
Lowko, are you going to cast any of the WCS qualifiers? Neeb is putting in work right now.
Did i hear a connection between "The brood is strong" and "It can't be Kerrigans"? :D
Ruining Lowko's hopes and dreams, the colossus do not shoot lasers out of their eyes. The small thing at their front, is their head.
Idk why but whenever you say laser giraff its sounds so funny
Good to see Maximus black still popularized the term 🦒 giraffe
Lazer Giraffs with Havocs for Super range? xD
Uh and when you get tempests.
Tempest collossus havocs. The enemies will never see it coming!
then it will have a carbot reference when the tempest shoots from one galaxy into another : ^))
That speed boost really useful for dragoon though
You can use Pylon mode of the Energizer. It works with the Matrix boost as well and will make your units broken af in battles :p
Alarak is just envying that Artanis have the best ship
Lowko, maybe the matrix overload work with the energy field energizer cast? You could have a dragoon with a marine's attack speed XD
1:23 - The Protos shopping mall .... "Tall-Mart"
Reconstruction beam with Carriers is insane Lowko you should try it
Edit: spoilers for Carriers
Carriers have repair bots for passive + contruction beam basically make your army immortal
Not immortal, but pretty durable with certain micro.
Energizers also act as power fields so you can warp in with those lol
To be honest, Laser giraffes with their tiny limbs SHOULD NEVER attempt to move that fast.
They are in general 10 stories tall and that speed of movement would definitely break their legs.
They're protoss units, not someone with an orifice who created them.
Alarak smokes terazin every day
We already agreeded that he is the HighLord 😁
Ayyyy i said dat
More like he smells it.
Metalders he doesn't have a nose
And he's too sofisticated to have something as foul as a mouth to smoke it. :-P
But he could absorb it through his skin, right? ^^
Reconstruction beam + Ascendant = infinite energy gain from ally mechanical units and non-stop mind blast and psionic orb
Can you see if the Energizer Power Field gives the Crono serge buffs?
RIGHT WHEN YOU THOUGHT LOWKO WILL LET YOU DOWN, uhmmm try again sweeatie, ma boi lowko hitting us with another awesome video :)
Is it me or do the Hierarch and the High-lord each walk like they are telling themselves they are the baddest MoFo's in the universe. @1:05
