I know that you've decided to do the Aiur missions in style, but I really want to drive your attention to the Dark Archons. The reason is, during the next mission there're gonna be a LOT of uses to their Mind Control - even canonically correct, as you take brainwashed Templar back from Amon's control.
I suffered from multiple colds while I played through Legacy of the Void. There are a lot of theories that exposure to Void energies hurts your immune system. Symptoms may get worse during the epilogue, Into the Void. But you should feel a lot better once you start Nova Covert Ops.
A. D. But corsair's disruption web is cooldown based and psionic storm (as well as feedback, which Lowko didn't use to cripple BCs and medivacs) is energy based.
Wol: Revolutions,Guerrila warfare, train heists, better love story than twilight Hots:Even better love story, SWARM, lenny overdose, pokeboys lotv:en taro artanis ,FENIX ,MY LIFE 4 AIUR , fighting a demonic void god, cannonboys. Conclusion this was an amaizing journey
Ok, Auir was taken once again because of amon. So we need to reactive a MASSIVE arc to cross the galaxy, gathering allies for an army. Crossing distances, personal differences, ancient hate and resentments to unify the protos like it has never been done before to even have a chance of even dreaming if victory. The attack begins, lowko goes "yea let's just use all that stuff we already had when we left or the arc ceated, making this entire journey and the lifes lost on it obsolete" nice :'D
for last mission Spear of Adun systems will be off line one at a time. Except passives and auxiliary. So put max points into Auxiliary systems and warp harmonization and repair beam.
Lowko, the Mothership is absolutely badass. On top of its abilities, it has 1000 health and 1000 shields, and it's normal attack at +3 deals 300 damage. It's pretty crazy.
Hey Lowko, I have a question: Why are you never getting the shield upgrade in the forge... I find it strange, because it makes the regenerating portion of your units stronger, and all of them at the same time/price... Is there a reason for that? Is Armor surpirior?
Not a very accommodating Host... It would be interesting to control a 'Void' faction on a multiplayer map. You'd have access to all three races' units, but they would have half the normal stats. You would be unable to build normal static defenses, but enemy units in your base gradually take damage.
I've been mainlining these episodes for the last few weeks, going from the remastered all the way through to this, I can't believe I've caught up just for the last one! Thanks Lowko, it's been a fun journey!
Lowko the best way to use Arbiters is to have one with your deathball and one at your main or natural. If you get attacked you mass recall back home so you can defend. If you leave the Arbiter that was with your deathball near where you attacked you can mass recall back to your attack point. GL with the last mission, I have really enjoyed the run.
The celestial array turning off was so good. It was almost a subtle fourth wall break with how your menu disappears and the sound goes nuts. It's like it's not just Artanis being screwed around with by Amon: the player was experiencing it, too. At least that's how I felt in my first playthrough.
I love that zoom-out at the end. . . . . . . . . . All the capital ships of the different factions we unlocked. Amon is destroying a singular base, and then we zoom out and it's biggest ship --> even bigger ship ---> biggest ship. Each zoom-out, the power of the individual weapons platform jumps an insane amount. Arthanis is like "ready your blades" and then the game is like "oh, you mean THESE "blades"?" and presents you with DeathStar-level planet killers XD Absolutely menancing.
Hey Lowko, I really liked your decision of going full Aiur units in this mission! Btw, in the next one I recommend you go with as much passive abilities from the Spear of Adun as possible, it will be very helpful. ^^
This comp is honestly a blast from the past from SC1. I remember rockin a lot of Protoss missions with a mass of carriers supported by arbiters, dragoons, and reavers. Maybe a couple of high templar, but that was probably too much micro for me.
I see a lot of people suggesting Dark Archon for the final mission. I tried it, but found it somewhat hard. A much more A-move strategy is Dark Templar and Corsair (pretty much Vorazun from Co-Op). Add Matrix Overload from the Spear, and a couple of Energizers. Since it is a base defence mission, your units will be constantly under the speed bonus. Dump extra minerals into static defence.
3:13 Yes Lowko something has changed. The solar core used to be a solid mass. As you gain more solarite the solar core expands and the panels start to float around the core.
mikepliek The last Zeratul mission is a holdout mission, and doesn't take place on aiur. The host is very different from echoes of the future. The high ground where your base is located is not in echoes, and neither are the high grounds with the bonus objectives. Also, echoes of the future's natural expansion is on a high ground, which isn't in the host.
Time Stop is phenomenal in this mission, and makes it far easier to get the achievement. Attack the 4th, then use Time Stop on the 5th so nothing can attack, not even the shard. Temporal Field can be used to disable the shards as well.
In areas that are powered by Void energy your units gradually lose shields and Void entities don't take double damage like they do outside of these areas.
I genuinely did not think that you would follow through on that. The Templar, the Dark Templar, the Chosen and the Purifiers stand as one! En taro Artanis! En taro Lowko!
Just in case ppl wondered why carriers appeared in the bombardment cut scene, the carriers in the lore has main cannons. Yes we don’t get that in game: such a shame.
8:42, nah, only aiur units is actually a harder way to play this mission, energizers + wraith walkers (190 dmg vs building with +3 or something and also shoot air) and any kind of aoe vs ground is best army for this mission as far as I know, wraith walker + energizers nuke down obj way too fast for me and amon to even realize the army was there.
I know its really expensive but i used the same build of arbiters and carriers in sc 1 to beat all the protoss mission that you have both those units. Invisible carriers just mean all the aggro goes to the easily replaced interceptors. In sc2 the carriers have repair drones too which makes the combo even more op
When i first entered this mission and the game said "here, take this tiny piece of map and conquer all of this" i was breathless for a moment because i didn't know what to do, then i started to slowly push all and win
If you use Time Stop in this mission it makes assaulting the shards a piece of cake. You can ignore their defenses and annihilate them before the freeze wears off. It even stops the void shards from attacking you.
I think what made u win is the combo of carrier+sentry for health and shield, in addition to the immunity when taking lethal damage. your units simply refuse to die
If you wanna do that achievement you need to face-tank clear the "first" one and use your c/d on the second. In your attempt, you used it backwards,so the gap is going to be larger. It doesn't really matter how long it takes for you to kill the "first", since the "timer" only start once you are done with it. It's all about quickly killing the second. Given your bank, you can afford more production for immediate replenishment of army, maybe even some forward stargates.
If I recall correctly, the next and final mission is the hardest one of all of Starcraft 2. It has been a few years now and I still have nightmares about it sometimes. Maybe, though, it was because I really suck(ed?) at the game back then.
Just a hint without outright spoiling the last mission, remember Shakuras and how you finished that. And your passives and ultimate abilities will be the most important.
With the extra life your units get every 60 Seconds. Having the carriers which heal up mechanical units is Op. I was watching as one of your Immortals died. The carrier started hitting it back up after the battle. Basically giving you free units.
in last mission you loose your active abilities of the spear of adun from left to right (so left first gone), so if you spend solarite in passives you put the solarite to work entire time.
6 years after my first watch I couldn't help myself to return to watch the best sci-fi setting story unfolding before me again. I just love Starcraft, all other spacy sci-fi settings pale in comparison IMO. I've managed to extract a new piece of entertainment even after so many years... right after clicking to launch the mission, while Rohana's display is flickering, we can see Amon spying on us. If Microsoft ever makes SC3, I hope they bring back all those cool units, enhance the army customization and call these voice actors replay their roles. Man, I just love all the sci-fi behind terran weapons mixed with redneck/frontier exploration, the best alien swarm in all fiction and the most "tech so advanced it seems like magic" alien trope. Starcraft, I love ya.
i remember playing this mission with nexus overcharge and basically only using the nexuses and shield batteries to defend my bases.... added bonus of x5 chrono surges :)
Hey Lowko, is there a way you could do a walkthrough of Metro 2033 Redux and Metro Last Light Redux ? Both games are on sale on steam for like 10 dollars for both
HEY LOWKO, What you think about replay this mission one time with each faction of protoss? Using all tal darim, nerazim, purifier... and one with the best configuration in your opinion? Sry bad english
The last mission is the most difficult IMO, or maybe the temple if you go shakuras before going to Raynor. I had time stop during this mission, dear lord that makes things a cake-walk.
I hadn't time stop but at some point there were so much things happening at the same time that my screen froze (also I was playing on normal so don't know if I can make it in Brutal)
You missed the opportunity to use one of the most broken campaign units. The mothership (with repair beam and some shield batteries for recharge) can easily solo missions like the last purifier one. For this specific mission, the mothership can easily deal with all attack waves sent at your base. (Just not used for attack after the second shard, due to the AI having a 1 hit ko ability after you destroy 2 shards.)
Hope you check out my suggestion in previous episode about Karax's stuff. Because in next mission it will be your choice to do so or no. It's up to you :)
You should mass on corsair-destroyer on Salvation. Also if you want to pick auto gas instead of warp for robo/stargate . you should put your structures next to Karax so he makes the production faster.
Playing these last missions with only Aiur warriors is actually the opposite of what you should do, because by the end of all the trials that artanis has been through with the Nerazim, the Taldarim and the Purifiers, the're supposed to stand as one to face Amon in the end.
Actually in this mission, when you get the allies, all purifier units were there, all nerazim units were there and all tal'darim units were there...If he took units other than aiur's...then those units would've not even fought. So by taking only aiur units, he ensured ALL protoss units entered the battlefield
Shouldn't Artanis know this as he himself was controlled by Amon when he killed Zeratul? He could also just ask Rohana as she has been controlled multiple times. Seems like an inconsistency in the story.
"Warriors, ready your blades." What kind of an army are you running when you have all sorts of energy-based ray and pulse weapons, yet your footsoldiers only get a blade? A blade, at that, that they have to generate themselves using their own brain's psionic power?!? "We have an aresenal. So here's nothing, now go kill our enemies with it."
Hey lowko!
Have you thought about putting an energiser in phase mode in your mineral line so your probes go faster? :D
P S. mindblowin'
... holy smokes O.O
Oh my, the 9 million IQ plays.....
Holy sh*t does this rly work?
That does not work otherwise he could just build a pylon instead
I know that you've decided to do the Aiur missions in style, but I really want to drive your attention to the Dark Archons. The reason is, during the next mission there're gonna be a LOT of uses to their Mind Control - even canonically correct, as you take brainwashed Templar back from Amon's control.
He should put his production next to Karax so he can build faster
Wait. Is that Karax thing real? Can... I just kinda steal Karax and use him as a super pylon?
Sdogofdoom not as a pylon but he has that aura that makes building 900% faster
I quite like this idea
Just checked, it doesn't work on allies :(
Artanis spent the entire campaign gathering allies to fight Amon.
Lowko, on final missions: Lol, allies, let's not use them.
GhostDreamer but he needed the allies to get the other Aiur units ;)
I think Lowko's been hanging out with grandma Rohana too much.
Did you not see that Alarak, Fenix and Vorazun control pure Tal'darim, purifier, Narazim?
I suffered from multiple colds while I played through Legacy of the Void. There are a lot of theories that exposure to Void energies hurts your immune system. Symptoms may get worse during the epilogue, Into the Void. But you should feel a lot better once you start Nova Covert Ops.
Did you forget that psystorm heals your own units shields? :)
I want it on Autocast like Corsair's Web ability xD
Too much multiplayer. Nevermind, there's no such thing as too much multiplayer. :)
You forgot Izsha's nose and Rohana's orifice obsession
Lobster i didnt but they are so important they deserve a separate comment
Actually, it's PENIX DA FENIX ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
There are still a few missions left though :)
Laser Giraffes
5:32 Rohana's face briefly gets replaced by Amon.
Never saw that one before. Nice one
toadofsteel oh I didn't notice that
So rohana is probably the host?
Ok, Auir was taken once again because of amon. So we need to reactive a MASSIVE arc to cross the galaxy, gathering allies for an army. Actually it's better because all units are there
All templar, all tal'darim, all nerazim and all purifiers.
Didn't think of it that way! But since you have all of your allies active in the missions, it works.
I say it's a full circle. Back to your roots.
Artanis: "AMON!"
Zeratul: "AMON!"
Vorazun: "AMON!"
Alarak: "AMON!"
Some Jamaican dude: "... what?!"
11:03 I'm prety sure that his (Amon's) body is created on top of Overmind's corpse
so that was spot on guess lowko
for last mission Spear of Adun systems will be off line one at a time. Except passives and auxiliary. So put max points into Auxiliary systems and warp harmonization and repair beam.

Lowko, just bring the most broken setup you can possibly make in the last mission. trust me, you will need it....
really impatient to see him try the next mission i block on it quite a bit xD . The 200 pop cap is just to hard when ennemy bring easily 1000 supply
So basically just mass void rays, some supportive units and a billion cannons. Time stop is pretty good ability too I guess.
Well i forgot to add NO SPEAR OF ADUN xD
Not a very accommodating Host...
It would be interesting to control a 'Void' faction on a multiplayer map. You'd have access to all three races' units, but they would have half the normal stats. You would be unable to build normal static defenses, but enemy units in your base gradually take damage.
loved the full aiur setup
Lowko please tell us that you're going to do Nova Covert Ops after this.
I've been mainlining these episodes for the last few weeks, going from the remastered all the way through to this, I can't believe I've caught up just for the last one! Thanks Lowko, it's been a fun journey!
5:35 that moment when even the hierarch having trouble paying electricity bills :p
Wow, you did this with the wonkiest setup I have ever seen. Go full on Golden Armada, 4-6 carriers with mass void ray.
And a mothership as icing on the cake
Well he is only using aiur forces
I always love these end game missions when all paries join in to help
Loove the sunset lighting in this mission.
The celestial array turning off was so good. It was almost a subtle fourth wall break with how your menu disappears and the sound goes nuts. It's like it's not just Artanis being screwed around with by Amon: the player was experiencing it, too. At least that's how I felt in my first playthrough.

3:15 when you got to 300 solarite in the last video, the solar core opened up completely instead of having it's shell closed.
Lowko, you really should do another SC 2 play through. It’s been a few years. It’d be amazing
Hey Lowko, I really liked your decision of going full Aiur units in this mission!
Btw, in the next one I recommend you go with as much passive abilities from the Spear of Adun as possible, it will be very helpful. ^^
please try the mothership for the last mission ! :)
Heard that Dark Archon makes the mission ez, which should be logical.
Bogdan Gabriel it is logical indeed ^^ i've never tried though !
But I think that if a gold player like me completed this mission, he could succeed with any composition 😁
Lowko, you should do the next missions with as much of each type of unit as possible, for example, all tal'darim
This comp is honestly a blast from the past from SC1. I remember rockin a lot of Protoss missions with a mass of carriers supported by arbiters, dragoons, and reavers. Maybe a couple of high templar, but that was probably too much micro for me.
4:36 hmmm, interesting choice of words.....
Lowko,in the next mission remember that ALL Structures near Karax gain +100% attack speed and +900% production speed.
The soundtrack at the beginning of the mission is one of the best in the entire game tbh.
3:13 Yes Lowko something has changed. The solar core used to be a solid mass. As you gain more solarite the solar core expands and the panels start to float around the core.
just a little detail: pause at 5:32
one more tidbit, the map you are playing on is the same as the map in WOL in the last zeratul mission
mikepliek
The last Zeratul mission is a holdout mission, and doesn't take place on aiur.
The host is very different from echoes of the future. The high ground where your base is located is not in echoes, and neither are the high grounds with the bonus objectives.

If you select carriers to deploy in battle, remember to make them to support your mechanical units.
Suggestion:
Next mission get the most defensive composition possible I know its cool to only use Aiur units but its a risky idea
I love your idea to play Aiur only units. It's like 4 protoss factions uniting against Amon.
Great dialogue, "purifiers... Go forth and purify" 😂😂😂
Makes my morning coming home to new lowko vids 👍🏼
When i first entered this mission and the game said "here, take this tiny piece of map and conquer all of this" i was breathless for a moment because i didn't know what to do, then i started to slowly push all and win

I think what made u win is the combo of carrier+sentry for health and shield, in addition to the immunity when taking lethal damage.
your units simply refuse to die
We need a compilation video of all the times static defence would have helped Lowko avoid saying "that's not good" xD
If you wanna do that achievement you need to face-tank clear the "first" one and use your c/d on the second. In your attempt, you used it backwards,so the gap is going to be larger.

Hey Lowko, in the next mission build one of each producing structures close to Karax to give them +900% of a chrono boost.
Looking forward to the next mission, it is probably my favourite one
it's funny how "unleash your fury" resumes to push some buttons from orbit, I guess those buttons were pushed really hard
Just a hint without outright spoiling the last mission, remember Shakuras and how you finished that. And your passives and ultimate abilities will be the most important.

Lowko the next mission is a defense mission btw
Switching to destroyers will allow you to kill the groups of enemies that come in.
>Literally just told that the defenders would get progressively stronger
“So are we on a timer?”
Amon's Host Body: "Artanis, I don't feel so good..."
Had so much trouble with this map on Brutal, you make it look easy.
I was hoping to see some Aiur Avengers... but It's OK.
Bruh i had this on max volume and it scared the shit out of me *"WELCOME BACK TO"*
To be planning something since the birth of the stars, only to hear Lowko's voice after its ruined: "sorry bout that bud..."
I like how the Dark God dies (kinda) but Overminds old and probably rotting remains are fine
Full Death Fleet on this mission is fun. Maxed out on Mothership and Destroyers
I like Amon's tech tree. Void shard --> units.

Starcraft, I love ya.
i remember playing this mission with nexus overcharge and basically only using the nexuses and shield batteries to defend my bases.... added bonus of x5 chrono surges :)
Call me Talandar from now on. Purifier robot found his personality. Amon's host has been destroyed.
im pretty sure its more then "looks like the overmind" I think amons host was built on top of the overmind.
Hey Lowko, is there a way you could do a walkthrough of Metro 2033 Redux and Metro Last Light Redux ? Both games are on sale on steam for like 10 dollars for both
*Plays game about factional unity and cooperation*
Lowko: NAH PLAY ONLY DAELAAM!! WOOP WOOP
Man, between starcraft lore and warcraft lore blizzard has a pretty pessimistic imagination of the universe lol
Thats because SC2 story is a Warcraft ripoff...
Lol dude, you think this is grim? Have you even heard of Warhammer 40k? Games Workshop made their franchise so fucking grim it's a goddamn meme.
@@nemou4985 I recommend you to consult a psychiatrist
You know, all templar units it's all fine and good, but next mission will kick your arse for such a roleplaying.
HEY LOWKO,
What you think about replay this mission one time with each faction of protoss? Using all tal darim, nerazim, purifier... and one with the best configuration in your opinion?
Sry bad english
Enrico Vieira Benvenuti u can't really do all tal darim since they don't have a faction for zealots or stalker/dragoon
Me shouting at lowko:TARGET FIRE THE SHARDS IT DESTROY HIS REINFORCEMENT TEMPORARILY
YAY! more campaign!! Lowko is the king!
You morph archons, didn't realise they were zerg 14:42
30:29 Protoss vessels be like: you came to the wrong planet, madafaka
Lowko, when you go into the last mission, pls use units o all protooss, that's what this whole series is about, right?
Makes Arbiters with the mass recal ability.
"If only i could warp in my units"
I never noticed that the host body was being built on top of the Overmind's corpse
I found the answer to why Lowko got colds while playing this campaign.
Because COLD is the void!!!
"This is the second cold I've had this year"
Better a cold in 2018 than 2020, that's for sure.
A fact everyone probably knows, solar bombardment can solo a void sliver or thrasher(in co op), i wonder if it's similar in the campaign?
Seems like an inconsistency in the story.
know what?
Lobster Artanis asks if the Protoss controlled by Amon know what is happening but can't control themselves or if they aren't aware.
I think he might have been referring to the protoss made into hybrids, but if not, then good point.
Well you can say he hasn't been controlled long enough, the same goes for Rohana, as they were controlled just for a second but good point
Good point :O
25:50 Classic case of Lowko blindness
Wow. How long has it been since the first episode of Starcraft Remastered? Like a year and a half? Thats amazing.
"Warriors, ready your blades."
What kind of an army are you running when you have all sorts of energy-based ray and pulse weapons, yet your footsoldiers only get a blade? A blade, at that, that they have to generate themselves using their own brain's psionic power?!?
"We have an aresenal. So here's nothing, now go kill our enemies with it."
Lowko finally spots the expantion! look how fast he has grown up
