She lived her life to the fullest, without letting anything or anyone stop her. I have to admit that I laughed more than once when her antics were mentioned; the radishes in that woman's hair, and her duels were the best!

Women did/do what's necessary to survive. Sometimes those things resemble male tendencies.

Being a masterful duelist as well as an accomplished opera singer is quite possibly the most bad-ass character traits a person could have! I really really hope that she had at least one duel in her life where she belted out a song while kicking someone's ass!

I think she was very determined, even if some of her actions were dubious.

Oh my goodness, she was an amazing woman!! I was dumbfounded when you said her age at her time of passing away. I think I've actually fallen a little in love with her myself...lol. And in the paintings of her..she was so beautiful. I really love how vibrant and alive she looked. Nothing like the usual paintings of women in her era. Great video!!

No doubt, big studio screen writers and producers are scanning RUclips for ideas to steal. They did it on Twitter. I'm an indie writer and it's happened to me twice. Only a matter of time that it happens here! These are great stories! Tremendous work!

      Hey Frank! lol
I have a number of ideas I'd like to write up but don't know how to go about it, partly for this very reason
Can you recommend any effective avenues to pursue creative writing professionally? Also any advice re the theft and non-crediting of ideas?
      Any info much appreciated

@@J3diMindTrix There's a lot of free info on RUclips for indie writers. Many indie writers have blogs with free info. For example check out Joanna Penn. Check out the Alliance for Independent Writers. Theft is just going to happen. Don't release your ideas prematurely.

You always bring good stories, we need to know. I enjoyed this one. Was glad Julie lived out her life. She was indeed brave. She was not afraid. She was bisexual. Many others were also. She just wanted to be herself. I judge no one. We all deserve to be loved whether its with the same sex, she was no different from anyone else. Sadly she found true love, but it didn't last. So she spent the rest of her life the only way she could. She was not killed. Thank you for bringing these interesting stories., knowing she didn't give up, was not afraid of a challenge. Shows her character. I know many is not going to agree with me. But we are human beings.we all want the same thing, to love and be loved. We should not judge. This was a different time and era, lots of secrets.. She didn't hide. She lived her life. I hope see many more true interesting stories in 2021. God bless, take care and be safe. Happy holidays, merry Christmas and happy new year. Love, respect, and positivity always. Neita James.:-)

My fencing teacher in college was female. And around half of the class was also. I would like to believe that I lost most of the bouts that I had with women because I held back, and didn't want them to get hurt, but truthfully, they were probably just better at fencing. (Hi, Mrs. Allenson!)

Théophile Gautier was a celebrated French author who had an impressive output. His book based on D'Aubigny is a historical romance and not a bio-book. His probably most famous book is "Captain Fracasse" which has often been made into films in France and Italy. He was know as an advocate for "art for art's sake".
