That emerald tiara is the most beautiful. It's size and proportion and the perfectly matching color of all the emeralds accentuated with the diamonds makes it the most stunning tiara I've ever seen. Thank you for sharing such beautiful photographs with us. Brittany your detailed photography makes it worth watching ❤
Yess, all the collection from Empress Eugenie of the French is just ✨immaculate✨. Also yes, the Louvre is quite a maze, there are elevators, and tunnels, like that is just incredible.
I could spend days there looking at all the displays. Could you imagine living close by and that's you treat once a week? Cleaning or restoration would be a personally rewarding job. I know someone that was commissioned to work on Notre Dame after the fire. They are based in Italy working on paintings and ceilings. What a gift.
💎 I also went to the Louvre this September, can't believe I missed you Brittany. I love that they displayed a good amount of the French crown jewels in the Louvre in a way where you can see the back so you can actually see how they're constructed. It's an absolute goldmine for goldsmiths like myself to learn from. 💎 I will always have a soft spot for Queen Victoria's sapphire and diamond coronet. It's just such a classic and elegant piece + the variety of ways it can be worn (bandeau, tiara & coronet) is just brilliant engineering and craftsmanship. Also lots of love to you Brittany and keep up the good work, you're doing amazing! ❤
💎 My favorite tiara is Maxima’s Diamond Bandeau. It seems understated, but the row of enormous stones has such impact compared to the other tiaras around her.
💎 Empress Eugenie's Pearl tiara is my favorite. But, I have to admit that I find all the French tiaras in this collection superior to the British and other Royal families' tiaras that I've seen. These are just so colorful and creatively designed, each a work of art.
@@m.payton5045 There is a second tiara referred as the duchesse d'Angoulême tiara(same name as the green one in this video) but this one with 3 ranks of rubies and even more diamonds, could it be the one you are thinking of?
💎 I love all the tiaras! I was surprised how small the Queen Marie’s sapphire tiara was but it is BEAUTIFUL!! I think it’s my favorite in this collection. So happy for you that you got to see them! Thanks for another great video!
That was Duchess Sophie's wedding tiara. She wore one of the Queen's aquamarine tiaras with just one big aquamarine in the middle one time. The large aquamarine tiara of the Queens, that has a matching necklace and bracelet, the gemstones came from Brazil. They are all so lovely.
Winged Victory! The first time I saw it I was 8 yrs old and it took my breathe away. Yes, the tiaras on display at the Louvre are astonishing. Thanks for doing a giveaway
💎 this was just soo fun, Brittany, picturing what an adventure you had in finding the tiara displays! You have such a wonderful way of story-telling and your photography is beautiful too. There are soo many tiaras to chose from, but one that is so unique for my #1 is the Fife Tiara. But goodness, this Angouleme emerald tiara is gorgeous and I love the classic (& symbolism) of the Lover's Knot tiara too. Funny that before I started following your channel(s), I would have only been able to name the Spencer tiara. Now, I've learned so much! Congratulations on your new pretty jewelry sponsor and thank-you for offering a contest for your followers--what a fun idea!
My favorite tiara is the Braganza tiara that Queen Silvia from Sweden wears. I love the shape of it and how the diamonds are set. It looks more 3D and the designs pop out more than just a "flat" tiara. So gorgeous and the placement of the jewels glisten in the light!
My favorite is the Queen Mary's Cambridge Lover's Knot Tiara that Catherine, the Princess of Wales wears with pearls, diamonds and other jewels. My second favorite is the Girls of Britain and Ireland Tiara. My third favorite is the bandeau that Princess Eugenie wore for her wedding: the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara. 💎🥰❤
💎💎The Napoleonic Amethyst Parure Tiara - the Swedish Royal family. I saw Queen Silva, Princess Madeline & Crown Princess Victoria wear it in the last decade or so. I like the uniqueness of the stone colour and the simple design to lend the impact of the amethyst. Thank you Brittany for your wonderful channels!!
💎 I love all the tiaras you cover…because they’re tiaras! My all time favorite is Queen Mary's / Elizabeth II’s Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara. It’s simply fantastic and majestic! 💎
What a fun video! It’s so hard for me to pick a favorite tiara. I’ve been shopping for a royal replica tiara for my wedding and I just can’t make up my mind! The GOGBAI tiara is iconic and the lovers knot is lovely with pearls. 💎👑
💎 I love colored gemstones and some of my favorites are the blues - especially sapphires and aquamarines. (I know sapphires come in many colors and with stars, too.) it’s hard to resist naming one of them as my favorite, and as jewelry I think I’d probably choose one of them. I’m a particular fan if the Danish tiaras (although they have enough to choose from). The Alexandrine Diamond Drop Tiara, though, is stunning and I also like Queen Mary’s Kokoshnik tiara. My comment on your Royal News Network Channel about the Midnight Tiara is true, but it t is sooo hard to choose a favorite. But I do love the nature inspired tiaras, even if they can be less striking than the others I’ve mentioned. But I rediscovered the Midnight Tiara when I was searching for what I think is my ultimate favorite - The Ruby Parriere Tiara. I mentioned earlier than I love cabochon gemstones, and the way the rubies are staged as the “berries” against the delicate white gold leaves is so original - although at the same time it makes you wonder why all jewelers haven’t done that. But Brittany, you could ask me every day for the rest of my life and I’d probably name a different tiara each time. I never appreciated tiaras until I began watching your videos! ❤❤❤❤
💎💍 I am just now learning about tiaras from your presentations. It is very enjoyable. I think the one I might like best so far is the one you showed today with all the emeralds. I do like a pop of color.
Thanks for the report Brittany! I just went to the Louvre today and found the tiaras! Def super tricky to find but luckily a security guard helped us. They were so pretty. My mom and I really enjoyed the exhibition!
One of my favourites is the Grand Duchess Vladimir Tiara. It looks spectacular with pearls or emeralds added or simply by itself. So many gorgeous choices though.
When a queen combines the tiara with a necklace and earrings with the same colored jewel: diamonds, emeralds, saphires, rubies, etc, she makes the royal jewels look better.
💎 Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara … love, love, love this one and also my favorite piece of royal jewelry is the Princess of Wales, diamond and sapphire ring! Beautiful video of all these tiaras, Brittany 🤍
💎I think the Dutch Sapphire tiara is breathtaking. I prefer the shorter version, but there is something classy and simplistic, with that touch of blue, that I absolutely love.
💎 This was very interesting, and thanks for having a give-away! My favorite tiara is the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland. To me, its design is perfect.
💎 I don’t see that anyone else chose it but I really, really like the Pearl and diamond tiara shown here. It’s so delicate and detailed. It looks great far away but it has such exquisite detail, it just draws you in. You mentioned that it is silver and as you were getting close ups of that tiara, you were talking about the people who have the job of cleaning the pieces. How they clean that silver 😮 they must dip it in something. I also like the fife tiara- so grant and stunning. Am charmed by the (I think Swedish) cameo tiara. But vying for the top spot is the tiara princess wore at the coronation- Wow! I love that one! Funny how you/Brittney said it was disappointing. I love it, I think even more so that it is so perfect for Catherine’s face. I know the “diamonds” are really crystals- It’s still amazingly beautiful. I can’t tell they’re not diamonds 💎 by looking. I love the history behind the look of the Greek laurel wreaths. I have never seen Catherine look so beautiful and so regal. I know people like the Cambridge lovers knot tiara and I tried (it looked fabulous on Diana) and the history and connection with Diana and Catherine. The laurel wreath (I don’t think they were supposed to be technically a tiara but come on!) 💎✨👏🏼👏🏼
💎That emerald tiara is stunning. It's hard to pick a favorite, but it might be the Grand Duchess Vladimir Tiara because it's versatile as well as beautiful.
💎. One of my favorite tiaras is the aquamarine tiara that princess Madeleine basically owns! You are correct about it really bringing the blue out of her eyes even more. Fabulous
Hi Brittany😊Your Tiara videos are my favorite! I love shiny jewels💎I was so disappointed that we had a once in a lifetime event, The Coronation and the ladies weren’t allowed to wear Tiaras😭My favorite Tiara is the Stuart Tiara👑So many beautiful ways to wear it. Thanks for another amazing video-GINA PETERSON
I love your enthusiasm... And as somebody who moved to Paris after high school and bought an annual ticket for the Louvre (and visited at least once per week) I find it quite charming that you had trouble finding your way. Because yes, that place is VAST, and as a first or 10th time visitor, maps are your friend... (And for anybody wanting to see the jewels: Look for Galerie d'Apollon on the map. That's the gorgeous room they're housed in - so remember to look at the ceiling as well.) Also, I noticed every single name you pronounced wrongly - and paid particular attention to the fact that I completely understood what you meant each time, so your pronunciation was definitely good enough and I often wish people would stop apologising when pronouncing foreign names and trying to get at least as close as possible to correct... You're doin' fine, hon, and don't let anybody tell you differently. (That was a Danish guy trying for colloquial USian English... See, we Europeans can't do it the other way around, either!)
Oh my gosh, I am so excited to check these out when I go to the Louvre in a couple of weeks!!! As for favorite tiaras, the Swedish Aquamarine will forever have my heart. Stunning! I also really love the Danish Ruby Parure, and the Spanish Floral. Basically, I'm a fan of most tiaras, unless they have big teardrop pearls dangling all over the place, lol
💎The Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara is my favorite. It is just a classic tiara that any little girl would love to wear. I do love the tiaras with colored stones though. The color of the blue sapphires in the Sapphire Parure Tiara is just amazing. I didn't see any fingerprints over your pictures. Great detailed shots of those tiaras! It just shows how intricate the detailing is and all of the work involved in creating them 💎
That Emerald and diamond tiara looks like the one Princess Anne Marie had on at her wedding. Such a stunning and beautiful piece with the necklace and earrings 🥰🥰🥰🥰
💎 My favorite tiara is the Napoleonic Amethyst Parure Tiara. Queen Silvia of Sweden had the necklace from the parure mounted on a tiara frame, and I LOVE it! My favorite set -- not piece -- or jewelry is also Swedish, the Pink Topaz Parure. Gorgeous! I also adore the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara.
💎I just love the George IV State Diadem it exudes power, royalty and femininity. It truly shows how women have been in power and exercising it gracefully since so many centuries. And the pictures of QE2 wearing it are so nostalgic!
💎There are so many lovely tiaras out there, but the ones I always think of as being really special are the Spencer Tiara that Diana used to wear and the Girls of Great Britain & Ireland tiara.
💎The Valkyrie Tiara by Cartier for Mary Crewe-Milnes, Duchess of Roxburghe. I just love this tiara and would love to learn more about it. Thank you for making everything royals fun again❤
Brittany, this video was informative. Not only did I learn a little history, I enjoyed seeing the beautiful tiaras and some jewels which were new to me. Thank you for the wonderful video!!
🔷This video is such a gift to me. I was supposed to go to Paris next week but the trip got cancelled. Anyway, on your other video I thought the Lover's Knot was my favorite, but now that I'm seeing all these French pieces now these are my favorite! Lol. (One day I'll tell you about my connection to the French Revolution......I swear!!)
Love those tiaras, your footage is great, they really sparkel. The pearl one is amazing! I love Queen Alexandra's Kokoshnik Tiara. It's just super blingy and impressive.💎
💎💎 Gosh having seen these tiaras i have to change my mind & say the Angouleme emerald tiara its just gorgeous. Thank you for showing these tiaras i had no idea they existed & with all the upset in France in the revolution days i never thought there eould be any left.
✨️I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Kokoshnik diamond tiara with its many rows of graduated spikes each with several diamonds mounted vertically on each spike and rising up to the tallest in the center. Absolutely simple but elegant and super sparkly!
I always wondered about the French Crown Jewels. I thought that many might have been melted down and the gems tossed into the Seine - because with the mobs everywhere during the revolution and all the chaos, seemed unlikely that anything survived. But of course, many people took their jewelry out before, during and after the Revolution.
I'm related to the French Crown Family on my mother's side. I'm proud of my French heritage but after watching yours how it hurt me to think that the people then and now could care less of there heritage. Using a program I find myself as a Duke. I lived in France for 3 years back in the 60's and loved it.
💎My absolute favorite tiara is the one Princess Catherine wears a lot. The Lover's Knot tiara is definitely my choice I wish she would change the pearls out for the sapphires, or the emeralds, just so I can see them once. They are both interchangeable with the pearls. With pearls it is absolutely stunning. 😀
Well done finding the tiara room. I'll know where to look for them now. I love the 'Duchess of Angouleme Emerald' tiara but my favourite tiara of all is the 'Girls of Britain and Ireland' tiara. 💎💎
💎💎💎 All these magnificent jewels and tiaras make me happy. How can you not be happy looking at these stunning pieces. The Lovers Knot tiara is still my favorite. 💎
💎 Oooh, I love Queen Marie-Amelie's diamond and sapphire tiara! I'm petite so its dainty size is perfect for me so it shouldn't be too heavy, and won't give me a headache. The blue sapphires also match my jeans and I love wearing diamonds with denim, of course.
💎 I have 2 favourite Tiaras, and both are in the Swedish Royal family. The first is the Cameo Tiara and the Second is the Aquamarine Tiara. I think they are stunning pieces and must be such a joy for the Swedish Royal ladies to have in their collection!
💎 I would say the Swedish Aquamarine had my vote but then you showed the Duchess Angouleme Emerald tiara & it's gorgeous. I'd put it 1st closely followed by the Aquamarine.
Angoulême. Very easy. Ohn-Goo-Lem. Also, the German principal house of Thurn and Taxis is actually pronounced "Toorn und Taxis", no "th" as you would think in the beginning, simply a hard "t". The name of Empress Joséphine's daughter is "Hortense", and it is pronounced "Or-Tahnz". No "H" spoken out in this name.
That emerald tiara is the most beautiful. It's size and proportion and the perfectly matching color of all the emeralds accentuated with the diamonds makes it the most stunning tiara I've ever seen. 🔹️ Eugenie's Pearl tiara. Pearls are timeless
I never knew France had tiaras until now! How neat!! It’s so hard for me to pick a favorite tiara because they are all so beautiful!! 💎💎
After the Revolution the government sold off the Crown Jewels. 😢
Me too- who knew?!
💎💎💎💎 diamonds are a girls best friend. They are both beautiful

There is something a little sad about these wonderful pieces not being worn. It is like having a beautifully groomed horse who is never ridden.
I think tiaras are so out of style! And they are usually worn by old dowdy women! All tiaras should be in museums I think. Symbols of yesteryear.

My favorite too!
✨️I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Kokoshnik diamond tiara with its many rows of graduated spikes each with several diamonds mounted vertically on each spike and rising up to the tallest in the center. Absolutely simple but elegant and super sparkly!
💎 love the emerald tiara from this video but my fav still remains the Stuart Tiara. Love these tiara vids so please keep them coming!!!
I always wondered about the French Crown Jewels. I thought that many might have been melted down and the gems tossed into the Seine - because with the mobs everywhere during the revolution and all the chaos, seemed unlikely that anything survived. But of course, many people took their jewelry out before, during and after the Revolution.
The gems weren't tossed. They were stolen. The mobs were angry but not stupid.
Why would anyone foolishly toss gems into the Seine?
@@NtanMakapi My father in law melted down jewelry for the gold after WWII and he and his partners threw the gemstones into a River. 😢😢😢😢😭😭😭😭🙄🙄🙄
I'm related to the French Crown Family on my mother's side. I'm proud of my French heritage but after watching yours how it hurt me to think that the people then and now could care less of there heritage. Using a program I find myself as a Duke. I lived in France for 3 years back in the 60's and loved it.
💎 I love the sapphire crown Queen Camilla wore for her first State Banquet. She looked amazingly beautiful that evening.
I love the Lovers knot tiara! It is absolutely precious!
Oh My God! At the beginning of your video, there is what looks like a giant "bow" that is dripping and encrusted in diamonds. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll definitely stick with the first emerald tiara. When I separated from my husband, I bought myself a Columbian emerald and a diamond
My favorite piece of Royal jewelry is Queen Victorias diamond collet necklace. I would wear it daily. This was a great video! I enjoyed every minute!
💎 my favorite royal piece is the Kokoshnik Tiara
So jealous you got to see these beautiful pieces in person!!!
💎 the Cambridge lovers knot is my favorite, it's just so classic. This was a great video as always! Thanks.
💎Oh the Swedish aquamarine kokoshnik tiara is gorgeous, that’s my favourite!🤩👑💗
💎 The sapphire Tiara is gorgeous!! That would be my favorite from this collection
Beautiful color and clarity on the sapphire tiaras.
💎I love the girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara! It looks like a real princess
My favorite is the emerald tiara. 💎 Thanks for taking us there!!
What beautiful pieces and tears, I love sapphire jewels. ♦️♦️. They are all beautiful, but the turquoise ones are pretty much my favorite.
💎I love the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara! It has always been a favorite. I think when you hear "tiara" that is what comes to mind!
My favorite is the Lover’s Knot. The emerald tiara in this video is exquisite! 💎
💎 Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara. I love how Princess Beatrice was glowing on her wedding day
Angoulême.
