I think Steelers seem to let the safeties command their look on the field .. Tomlin allows ton of freedom with his dbs and WRs. But you see teams like Patriots always find these guys tendencies. Brady always be torching those Pittsburgh DBs. Tomlin needs to change up his philosophy a bit running into those cerebral teams. They only need to find one tell then they pick apart your D from that one weakness . Pat's use to always deke Palomalu but he was smart enough to always hide himself behind routes. They knew if they could keep him off position half the time they still have enough success to score . But Pats usually dominant teams that allow lot of players to freelance. Numbers. Steelers. Bears. Legion of Boom . Teams who stay man and play discipline Patriots have problems as they can't find weak points to exploit . Titans best then on very vanilla conservative scheme with some great 4th quarter clock manipulation. That's it.
