    Love the tips coach. Always heard this aging when I played in the centerfield
    See a lot, you see nothing
    See a little, you see everything
    Too much information will freeze the best athletes in space causing touchdowns or first downs for the opposing offense. Seeing and reading your keys and flying 100% with them can lead you to those turnovers and to the crib!

    I absolutely agree my son Elijah Sutton is a safety and he reads coverages like a young Sean Taylor/ Ed reed he plays for the West Covina Bruin’s he is 12u pop Warner his IQ IS OFF THE CHARTS all he do is film study and from practice to the real game he’s outstanding with your tips and watching all concepts on defense & offense he understands how to use the width & length of the field he has a 3.8 GPA & it shows on the field I truly believe as long as he keep doing what he is doing it’s going to get him exactly we’re he wants to be & that’s standing right by the side of guy’s like you thx for all your DB tips and coverage film study break downs Elijah has & is taking full advantage of your lessons and is trilled to show it on game day under the bright light’s.

    I’m a safety, i am 5’11 and around 135. I’m still gaining weight and hope to be around 160 by the end of my freshmen year. But my coach doesn’t recognize me, I do good in games with atleast 5 tackles per game. Haven’t had one pass complete on me, nor any runs past me. But he doesn’t notice that and I also play Free and Strong. Still 2nd string for them both though.

      Same here
      I was not that great with the ball on my feet, but I knew my strength was both the defensive and the "brain"
      I tried to be a "libero", a "sweeper", a "quarto zagueiro" or even a "metronome def midfielder" but is hard to be a pirlo or a backembawer without great ball control and passing to be a playmaker
      So, turns out the local american football club liked me and I just need to get bulkier (I'm 1.82 but only 74kg now)
      But despite it I have a low center of gravity so lets see how it works

    • @GridironStuds
      @GridironStuds  3 года назад

      That's not uncommon. Many coaches make the assumption that players know that the players understand the terminology and are grasping what is being put on the white board. People learn in different ways. Some can learn from film, some can learn from the whiteboard and others need walk throughs. That's why all 3 should be a part of the routine. What you should do is not be afraid to ask questions. It shows the coach that you are engaged. Ask other more experienced players and continue to educate yourself online by using this channel and my website https;//alleyesdbcamp.com
