Sylvia, great video! You have inspired me to make some homemade teas. Our local health store sells Mountain Rose herbs in bulk. God bless and happy Spring!🙂💐🌼🌷🌱

Great video!! I hate how they add “natural” flavors to everything! It’s frustrating. I recently heard about apeel on our produce too. It’s best to grow our own foods.

It’s the worst! I wish more companies made an effort to avoid using them in their products. I’ve heard of apeel, too, but haven’t seen anything labeled with it yet, but maybe that has more to do with my shopping habits this time of year.

Love this video! One question I have is, how do I know how many parts of each herb? Does it matter, is it a taste preference?

It’s mostly a taste preference. Yarrow, for instance, has a medicinal taste, so I always put in an extra part of peppermint or spearmint to help mask the flavour. I’m not a fan of the taste of licorice root, so I’ll double up on other parts so it becomes more of sweetener than an overpowering flavour. More often than not, I’ll do an equal ratio of whatever I’m blending unless there’s something I’d really like to shine in the blend. Hope that helps!
