You can do light graphics work, like some light video edits on the surface pro 6. Forget about heavy edits on that machine and any heavy graphics work. I use my ASUS strix laptop for that since the GTX 1070 in it can deal with 4K videos. Only if a dedicated graphics card was in the surface, then maybe. I don't think Microsoft can even put a dedicated graphics card in a surface pro device. It's too small and too thin. It would throttle like crazy. I use the surface for work related needs.

Surface pro 6 is limited because this is a tablet ''without fan'' it has a passive cooling system with lower clock speeds, Alienware and MacBook pro, on the other hand, have dedicated GPU full clock speeds. So, the comparison would be much better surface book 2 15'.
