- Make a clean cut for the garden hose repair. The repair of the connector is an easy and quick fix. In a minute the garden hose connection is done for 3 bucks.
Carefully cut off the damaged section, but leave the cut square and even. Then undo the screws on replacement coupler and push the end of the hose into the new mended piece.

On “no kink” hoses, these connectors do not work. They leak due to the internal bead

I've tried 3 different types of menders, nice clean cut on the hose and yet it still leaks. Any ideas?
Is the inside of the hose smooth? Do the connectors need to be forced into the pipe? Too easy a fit and your menders are too small. Try a hose clamp to create more force.

These are male and female hose menders. Be sure to take a cut piece of your damaged hose with you to get the proper sized fittings.
