I find this very rarely are these 125-150 dollar records are that much better to be worth the money Audiophiles go crazy over these expensive albums that are packed in boxes that look like encyclopedias on your shelf
It is different from my AP 45 or my OG way more in the mid-range and Jim's voice is more pronounced with this cut I feel. Its all subjective we all hear a little differently, and we all have different gear and setups too. As I say this is the first one that I have even wanted to buy so I figured I would try one and see. I really like it and am glad I made the purchase. Can't say as to how many more of these I will buy in the future? Thanks for the great comment Dave I appreciate you tuning in man!
Wow used to pay $ 4.89 for a new album virgin vinyl Japanese Imports which were great ten to fifteen bucks back in mid seventies CD'S no comparison when they first came out expensive what a scam have many over and over again remastered which they sound better but costs a lot of bucks 😂
My second favorite Doors after the first self-titled. The RSD Sessions lp from a couple of years ago has some great outtakes from this album. Have an OG, the 45, and just got this in the mail. Don't expect much improvement if any over the 45 but had to get this while still available.
I hate that big boxes, I need pay way more due the weight on customs! why not just release the jacket inside! like a normal record! and also down the price!
The thing i hate most about this vinyl game is this. "You better get this before the prices go sky high" It's become a game of fomo and the people pressing these artificially scarce records are promoting it. Someone who wants to hear this pressing shouldn't have to be in fear of having to pay outrageous prices for it a year from now.
You're exactly right man! there are way too many re-sellers out there buying everything up to jack the prices! I mean people got ta eat BUT like you say. it should not put the rest of us in the FOMO mentality to buy things before we are ready or not get them at all. I have been collecting records for decades and I do miss how records were about having the music you want not trying to retire off of them lol!
hi the price of them is mind blowing high if you are a audio file they will sell i wish they came out with 7 inch reel to reel pre recorded tapes like there used to be
Well it's funny you say that. Analog Productions does make and sell 1/4" 15ips tapes that start at about 400 bucks and go up over 1000 👀... be careful what you wish for 😂 thanks for tuning in I truly appreciate ya!
Hey Mike thanks for watching man!.... pretty much the same width and height is about 1/8th inch taller and it's just a little thinner and does not have the rounded front of course but all in all I like it.
