Your entire logical reasoning playlist helped me gain confidence, at least now i know i can solve these thanks is a very small word for all u have done!!
This analogy did make the understanding a bit easier. Think of the correct clock and the broken clock (clock gaining/ lossing time) as 2 cars in a race. If CAR-1 gains/wins at the finish line means that at one point both the cars were next to each other i.e (The correct time shown by both clocks) and eventually CAR-1 (broken clock) gained/lossed to CAR-2 (correct clock)
Really awesome explaination sir.👌.I've listened in very keen way such that I felt Your class ended so quickly.😅.It felt like a classroom☺️..Tq so much sir👍..keep rocking!!!!
we can also use the formula angle=mod of 30H -(11/2)M to calculate the angle as well as the time at which the hands of a clock make an angle. here, H is for hour hand and M is for minute hand.
@@shivamtah2182 Mod is distance from 0. It is always positive as distance is positive. Here Mod will imply that the angle is positive measure of distance between the two hands.
for Q16: in 34 hrs clock gains 28.33 min, it means alarm should go off 28.33 mins before the correct time. but in 28.33 mins, a clock will gains 23.6 ~ 24 sec, so it should wait for 23.6 ~ 24 sec more. Because Q is asking when the alarm will ring, so it should ring after 33hrs32min04Sec i.e. at 10am 32min 04Sec Another Way is in 24 hrs clock gains 20 min, so in 33 hrs clock will gain 27.5 min i.e. 27 min 30 sec & will show 10:27:30 time although actual time is 10:00 only. For remaining 32 min 30 sec, the clock will gain 26.6 sec, means as actual time travels 32.5 min alarm will go off 26.6 sec early. So as it is 10:32:30, time in alarm is 11:00:26, means alarm should rings actually at 10:32:04 i.e. 26 sec early of 10:32:30. (Neglecting milliseconds-as it will make the calculation more lengthy & confusing)
Thank you so much Sir! I went through the entire playlist in 3 days and I am pretty much comfortable with such questions if asked in interview placement rounds.
We can do mind calculation with that trick!! If 5min/1hr. 24hrs===> 24×5min= 120min=2hr/day. So for it to be 12 hrs it should be 6days from now on that is sunday 11am
This is the only topic of yours which has confused me a lot found it very complicated otherwise other topics that are taught by you are just like piece of cake

take the modulus of this that is the right formula bcz in cases like where angle is given and u have to find m or h there would be 2 possibilities with modulus
[11/2M - 30H] is the simple formula for finding the angle between the two hands.....where M is minutes and H is hours 2Q). 10:25 = [(11/2×25)-(30×10)] =[137.5 - 300] = 162.5° { The ans will not be in negative}
Q.11 ) Straight line betw 2 and 3 o' clock is then when clock shows 3:45 and not 3:40 so the ans will be x = 60*45/55 = 540/11 = 49 1/11 min When I drew it on paper the ans came but just by drawing it might mis lead us so I did it on my watch and ans changed. But anyways your channel is super and I'm preparing for my cet for this coming june only with this and one more channel. Lots of appropriation towards you sir thank you and HAPPY GURU PURNIMA.

In question 2) Answer might be 197.5° or 162.5 Because 60 min-hr passes 30° 25 min-hr passes 12.5° Total angle between 10 to 5 is 210 So angle accurate angle is 210-12.5=197.5 If ask for small angle is 360-197.5=162.5
@@alisechan9067 its not 137.5 beacause from 10 to 5 there is 7 hours gap means 7*30 = 210degree angle and also every 12 min hour hand moves by 6degree then here its 25 minute so 12 degree aprox then 210 -12 =198 is the exact ans
Very good sir. 13th & 9th ques. Are new kuch naya sikhne ko mila, likes and views are less but concept is new, plz all of u don't watch after seeing likes and views. Simply watch randomly . Good nice one and method is also nice of cross multiplication

Sir I have a doubt regarding 7th question Sir answer is 4.5 min But in question they said that the clock has gained time so from that we can say that time is running fast So as it is running fast 4.5 min has to be subtracted from 6:30 PM(Because it is running fast we have to set it right) So the answer from 6:30 it becomes 6:26:30 is it is right sir?
(ATQ) Clock time gains 20s for every three hour And what will be the time on friday .... Ques says gain not behind thats why we added 4.5 in 6:30 dear..if it says behind then we have to substract it...and no need to set it right and there is no need to set it just see it what will be the time on that day if clock is fast...
Answer to question no.1 should be 147.5 degree... Because if minute hand and hour hand are 25 minutes apart then second hand would cover (30×5=150 degree). So in 25 seconds minute hand would cover (6÷60)×25=2.5 degree. Therefore, angle is formed between minute hand and hour hand is equal to (150-2.5)=147.50 degree. Kindly tell me whether it's correct or not.
In 1 min, the min hand covers 1 min space which is equals to 6°. In 1 sec, the sec hand covers 1 min space which is also equals to 6°. There are 25 min spaces, and 1 min space is equals to 1 sec which is equals to 6°, so it should be 25×6° =150°.
they have just asked the degree between min and sec hand diff clock .... initially even i did the same way but later thought be question just asked us to find only angle of 25 mins however we will have options in exam so choose the best
Sir your teaching is appreciated take a bow for that ❤️but sir the question of 7'O clock &8'O clock you taught,the calculation part is wrong i think,sorry if I would be wrong
The 13th and 16th questions are wrong. The 13th answer will be 45 minutes and 9/11 seconds and the 16th answer will be 10 hours, 32 minutes, and 4/73 seconds. Because in the 13th question you forgot to calculate the thing that while the minute hand moves to 42 minutes hour hand moves by 21 degrees towards 11 so there will not be the difference of 8 minutes between the hour hand and the minute hand it will be more than that. The exact answer is 45 and 9 /11. 30(10) + 0.5t - 6(8) = 6t t = 45 and 9/11 And in the 16th question your answer was 28 minutes and 20 seconds but what is it? It is the amount of time jaggu's clock will ahead when 11 in actual real-time occurs, and you have subtracted 28 : 20 from 11 : 00. Means 11 : 00 in real-time and 11 : 28 : 20 in jaggu's clock. Here mistake is alarm will not set off on 11 : 00 in real time, It will set off when jaggu's clock is on 11 : 00 and real-time is behind that time and we have to find what would be the actual time in the real world. what we have to find is == real-time when jaggu's clock reaches to 11 : 00 what you have calculated is == time of jaggu's clock when real-time reaches to 11 : 00 and you have subtracted additional time The actual answer is 27 minutes and 69/43 seconds, and after subtracting answer will be 10 : 32 : (4/73)
There is an error in the in the 13th problem 1:03:18. To find the time after setting the hands 8 mins apart, you should've find the coincidence and then add 8 to get 62.54 which is the time after setting 8 mins ahead the hour hand and you should have subtracted 8 mins from the coincidence to get 46.54 which is the time after setting 8 mins behind the hour hand. One of your solutions is 3 mins behind the original solution. Thank you...
Sir for problem number 2 why did you consider the travel distance in degree of hour hand (30*10) , because the question is simply asking angle between the hr and min hand and not about the angle covered by hands of clock in the past?
The only channel I found where I can understand each and every single concept.. tqsm sir 💕 Sir please provide a seperate video for the calendar questions as soon as possible 🥺
How many times are the hour hand and the minute hand of a clock at right angles during their motion from 1.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m.? (I.A.S., 2009) (a) 9 (b) 10 (c) 18 (d) 20 In this question the answer should have been 16, since from 3 to 4pm and 9 to 10pm, the hands will be at right angle only once whereas for the rest of the 7 hours the hands will be at right angle 2 times every hour. Which makes it 7*2 = 14 + 2 = 16 The correct answer given in the book RS Agarwal is c] 18.
Most simplest equation i can give u is,if y is hours and x is minutes,then (-30*y)+((11*x)/2) ignore the negative sign for the result. eg: @ y=2,x=40 if we input we get 160. tested on most times. here is a python program of the sort, y=int(input("Enter Hours")) x=int(input("Enter Mins")) Equation1=((1-(x/60))*30)+((((x/5)-y)-1)*30) print(Equation1) Equation2=(-30*y)+((11*x)/2) print(Equation2) Equation1 and Equation 2 are the same,But equation 2 is simplified...hope it helps
Sir in 16th question u should take 59 min and 60 sec ...viz 28 min 20 sec should be subtracted from 59 min 60 sec to get the right answer. Kindly check and revert back.

In question 2) Answer might be 197.5° or 162.5
Because 60 min-hr passes 30°
25 min-hr passes 12.5°
Total angle between 10 to 5 is 210
So angle accurate angle is 210-12.5=197.5

the answer is 137.5 coz 150 degree- 12.5 degree

Sir I have a doubt regarding 7th question
Sir answer is 4.5 min
But in question they said that the clock has gained time so from that we can say that time is running fast
So as it is running fast 4.5 min has to be subtracted from 6:30 PM(Because it is running fast we have to set it right)
So the answer from 6:30 it becomes 6:26:30 is it is right sir?
Starting point very nice editing anna. I like that bgm😍👍👍👍
30(10) + 0.5t - 6(8) = 6t
t = 45 and 9/11
And in the 16th question your answer was 28 minutes and 20 seconds but what is it?
It is the amount of time jaggu's clock will ahead when 11 in actual real-time occurs, and you have subtracted 28 : 20 from 11 : 00. Means 11 : 00 in real-time and 11 : 28 : 20 in jaggu's clock. Here mistake is alarm will not set off on 11 : 00 in real time, It will set off when jaggu's clock is on 11 : 00 and real-time is behind that time and we have to find what would be the actual time in the real world.
what we have to find is == real-time when jaggu's clock reaches to 11 : 00
what you have calculated is == time of jaggu's clock when real-time reaches to 11 : 00 and you have subtracted additional time
The actual answer is 27 minutes and 69/43 seconds, and after subtracting answer will be 10 : 32 : (4/73)

Sir for problem number 2 why did you consider the travel distance in degree of hour hand (30*10) , because the question is simply asking angle between the hr and min hand and not about the angle covered by hands of clock in the past?

Excellent class. Thank u sir.
How many times are the hour hand and the minute
hand of a clock at right angles during their motion from 1.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m.? (I.A.S., 2009)
(a) 9 (b) 10
(c) 18 (d) 20
In this question the answer should have been 16, since from 3 to 4pm and 9 to 10pm, the hands will be at right angle only once whereas for the rest of the 7 hours the hands will be at right angle 2 times every hour. Which makes it 7*2 = 14 + 2 = 16
The correct answer given in the book RS Agarwal is c] 18.
How many people want video's on calendar?

Sir, thank you so much for your effort.. It's really really helpful..
Awesome lesson 👌
Most simplest equation i can give u is,if y is hours and x is minutes,then
(-30*y)+((11*x)/2)
ignore the negative sign for the result.
eg: @ y=2,x=40
if we input we get 160.
tested on most times.
here is a python program of the sort,
y=int(input("Enter Hours"))
x=int(input("Enter Mins"))
Equation1=((1-(x/60))*30)+((((x/5)-y)-1)*30)
print(Equation1)
Equation2=(-30*y)+((11*x)/2)
print(Equation2)
Equation1 and Equation 2 are the same,But equation 2 is simplified...hope it helps
Thank u for making such concepts easy !!! :)
You are doing great job sir
Thank you for making its most simpler
Nice teaching sir
Thank you for good explanation sir
Sir in 16th question u should take 59 min and 60 sec ...viz 28 min 20 sec should be subtracted from 59 min 60 sec to get the right answer. Kindly check and revert back.
