    Practice Questions on "Statement and Conclusion" available at: www.careerride.com/mcq/statement-conclusions-logical-reasoning-mcq-questions-374.aspx

      Sir in Q10 it says that ' and conquered by a SINGLE person ' which is incorrect as it can be a single or a single person with the help of others thus making it a few number of persons . Thus option b is incorrect and thus neither of them will follow

    • @candyandy2235
      @candyandy2235 5 лет назад +5

      So we should use some kind of deep logical sense to do these? Like in the 8th question?
      I absolutely find this useful btw.

    • @candyandy2235
      @candyandy2235 5 лет назад +1

      It gets a little confusing. Will it become easier or less confusing if I practice a lot?

    • @candyandy2235
      @candyandy2235 5 лет назад +1

      Is it advice in the 10th question? Is that what makes the option b correct?

    To simplify for everyone else not getting the point, Look for alternative conclusions based on assumptions and apply it to the sentence, if it does apply while confirming with the given conclusion and proving it right, the conclusion follows and vice versa.

Buildings with 2/3 floors are also called multiple floors building and as per the statement if building has 2/3 floors there won't be a lift. So i might be wrong but i think answer will be E. "High IQ is important to be a scientist."
    Conclusion 1:The statement says that high IQ is important to be a scientist, but it does not say that average students cannot become scientists or that they should not aspire to be one. It only emphasizes the importance of high IQ.Therefore, conclusion 1 does not necessarily follow from the statement.
    Conclusion 2:The statement implies that having a high IQ is necessary to be a scientist, but it does not imply that all highly gifted students (those with high IQ) will become scientists. There could be many other factors influencing the choice of profession.Therefore, conclusion 2 also does not necessarily follow from the statement.
    Ans is - (D) Neither 1 nor 2 follows

      It says all guilty singers were arrested.Rakesh & Rajesh were among those arrested.
      Conclusion:
      1-All singers r not guilty it's all guilty singers only were arrested.
      2-All arrested people are singers is false statement it says only guilty singers are arrested.
      3-Rakesh & Rajesh were not singers its wrong thy are not singers. In the statement it says thy were among those arrested. If thy were not singers y could thy b arrested so false.
      4-Rajesh & Rakesh were guilty tats the correct answer tats the reason thy r arrested says in the statement.
      Hope u understood something.

      i think it means- the world is neither black nor white as a certainty. its black for some ppl and white for other.
      kind of like saying - people neither good nor bad. it means, some ppl are good and some are bad.
      hope it helps:)

    Q5 mein conclusion 1 is right because the statement says that "if" you are software engineers. So it basically means that the company is not hiring any person other than software engineer.
