Always remember odd days for every month.
In this question mar to nov, march contain 31 days so odd days are 3, similarly for other months.
Sequence is 3( for march) + 2 + 3 + 2 + 3 + 3 + 2 + 3 + 2(november )
Now start adding odd days in sequence till you get perfect number which is completely divisible by 7 (mean remainder is 0, cycle repeats).
So we get perfect 14 as a sum of odd days in month of October, which mean November will have same calendar as march has.

For Q.8 calendar for months of april will not be same as that of july, because april has 30 days while july has 31 days. So both april and july will start on same day of week but will end on different days of week.

0 odd days=Sunday
2. 245days/7=35weeks+0 odd days
So ans=Sunday

@@prathishaa2456 Add number of days of all months from mar to october (31+30+31+30+31+31+30+31) = 245 / 7 = 35 weeks 0 days
For 2nd u can also calculate left over days like 365- days mentioned
March nd November repeats always

18.46 For 200 years 200/4=50 leap years
adjusting for century year 200/400=0.5 (which is not a leap year)
So 50 - 1 = 49 leap years, 200 - 49 = 151 normal years.

When you solved question 1, i was like WHAT!!!!!!
Thankyou Ma'am to clear the basics of calendar but it would have been more helpful if you would have added some previous year questions of companies or a little difficult kind of questions that were asked, I say this because today I gave a mock test and the questions on Calendar were a little different than the ones we solved here.

In qn. 7 same day of next year of leap year is just one day extended.. Thats 15 jan. 1976 should be Friday..
2001,2002,2003 are they leap year or normal year, I think this is something which is not divided by 4

100×365=36500+leap year(24)÷7 will also get a same answer
In my opinion it will also work in other way

In question 1 why have you taken out odd days for the previous year 1895. When the question is about next year . Please explain the relevance of taking out odd days of the previous year
30:20 see ma'am explained, because 1895 are complete year and 1896 is running currently, so first they solved for 1895 years and in last they calculated till 1jan - 6 April.

Answers for the Practice questions -
1. Sunday
1994 = 1600 + 100 + 23(leap year) + 71(normal year)
Which gives,
0+5+46+71 days
= 122 days
= 122/7 weeks
= 17 weeks and 3 odd days
Consider 1995 upto 5th April
Jan(31) + Feb(28) + Mar(31) + Apr(5)
= 95 days
= 95/7 weeks
= 13 weeks and 4 odd days
Therefore,
total odd days = 3+4 = 7 days = 1 week = 0 odd days
0 represents a Sunday
Hence, it was a Sunday on 5th April 1795
2. Sunday
Mar(16) + Apr(30) + May(31) + June(30) + July(31) + Aug(31) + Sept(31) + Oct(30) + Nov(15)
= 245 days
= 245/7 weeks
= 35 weeks and 0 odd days
0 represents a Sunday
Hence, it is a Sunday on 15th November.

taking it as (1600+200+96)?
Because 1800is not a leap year... 1800 is not completely divisible by 400... So to make calculation simplier u take nearby leap year

Bro its not like that if you will add the years in the table than you will se that in 2012 the number is written as 2 means 2012 is a leap year and it had 2 odd days so the addition will be 8 odd days and then you will carry on adding it till 2017 it will come 14
