you can go crazy buying tons and tons of movies so i always just tell people to make sure to get their favorite movies. it's nice not having to constantly try and figure out what streaming service the movie you want to watch is on
100%! I had to take a couple of steps back bc i was just bulk buying and it didnt make sense.. so many movies i was never planning on watching, so i got rid of like 85% of my collection and told myself to just buy stuff i would actually watch. Same with retro video games
I think you'd be better off owning a NAS (Network Attached Storage) with all your media, that you could reach from anywhere in the world, or share with a friend. Although at that point you'd reach the weird limbo, on if you actually own the data you purchased, or you only own the physical material that holds that data.
@@rsolsjo no it's not. xbox one games are just the license to use the data. on blu rays, the data is physically on that disc, and nobody can take that away from you.

Disagree with you, physical is better then digital
Keep the disc but rip it to a NAS.
i buy the discs and still rip them so i can watch em wherever i want. not to mention the digital codes discs often come with.
You never own data. A disc is still a license to use said data.
