When Joe recited "Green fields of the mind", "it breaks your......" for the last time yesterday i was a puddle. I've always enjoyed listening to Red Sox baseball on radio over T.V. every time. Thank you Joe. It just won't be the same.
One of the many great calls by Joe that still gives me goose bumps to this day was the Johnny Damon grand slam at Yankee stadium in 04 Congrats Joe you will be missed 👋
Joe! I can’t believe you won’t be in my ear from pre-season through October some years! I will miss your knowledge, respect for the players, the game and your loyal listeners. You are the heart of Red Sox Nation and you’ve been the most consistent part of the game I’ve grown to love. Best of luck in your retirement and may your adventures with Jan be filled with the excitement you brought to every game you’ve called. Be well…
You always knew the winter was almost over on those glorious days in late February/early March when we'd get to hear Joe Castiglione's voice broadcasting the first Spring Training games of the year.
Congrats Joe !!! All the best to you. Total class and legendary announcer. Can’t believe Red Sox owner John Henry was absent from this event….he’s a joke and has zero class
