Thank you for your kind words. I will update this compilation after the season's over to include the last calls of his amazing career, so keep an eye out.
@@joecastig04 its because of people like you that, people like me get to enjoy these videos from years to come so thank you. It may not seem like much but this is preserving a BIG part of history.
You took a ton of time to put this together and that’s awesome. I’ll almost certainly clip some of this in the future for some of my content so from that perspective I very much appreciate your efforts ❤
Thanks so much for making this. I still have the full games of the ‘04 ALCS and WS audios on a hard drive somewhere but nothing like this. Those Giant Auto Glass commercials live rent free in my head 😄. Anyways this is fantastic. ❤️
Jerry Trupiano was on the call for both of those. "David Ortiz has set off another wild, uninhibited celebration at Fenway Park..." The game 4 resync is on the channel, game 5 and beyond will be done sometime in the future.
@@Jokelben493 Nope, he still calls extras, but radio announcers customarily switch off after each full inning as opposed to every couple innings, as they do during regulation. Since Joe is the lead announcer, he usually calls one inning more than the #2 announcer in a normal nine-inning game. In the case of G4, Joe called innings 1-2, 5, 8-9, and 11; Trupe called 3-4, 6-7, 10, and 12. Some of Joe's best calls have come in extras. (see: 1:58:23)
Just in time for his retirement. Thank god we have this. Thank you for making it

@@Jokelben493 Not even remotely. Just a big Sox fan who's also into collecting radio broadcasts.
