Omg I had a major crush on Tracii Guns he was so delicious and that voice that melt me, he’s soooo L.A he picked the best name for his band, how can I ever forget L.A in the 80’s 😭😭😭😭
Songs like this remind me of a simpler times. Wishing we have the abilities we have today. When I was a kid we weren't able to just have communication whenever and where ever we wanted. If you were looking to meet someone it took effort. Today, we have the ability to communicate but it's all been corrupted. These songs remind me of those days of driving into a new town and hoping to run into someone new. It was a completely different time. Women took the opportunity instead of toying with a man because they had the same problem. You never knew when you'd see them again because there were no cell phones, email, facebook. Now was all you had. They were great times and technology I wanted as a child is here but those who didn't grow up without it don't appreciate it and now it's just made things horrible.
Tracy Rothwell That's sweet of you sharing the lyrics, we appreciate your effort, but a real fan doesn't need a lyrics to the songs (unless if you were new :)
Katrina Gilpatric i'm so sorry to hear about that...God will heal your pain...let His Holy Spirit bring peace to your heart...just release all you feel to Him and He will in no doubt help you
Katrina Gilpatric sorry for ur loss. i look at someone's passing as a good thing now..ur daughter won't have to c or suffer thru the crap that is coming..praise for that!
I've been looking for this song for 8 years and found it 8 years later. my mom turned this song on the radio and she would just sing her heart out and hold my hand. I went from 3 to 11 and I will never forget the day I first heard this song, and when she held my hand.😔😞😇💕💕
I just received the news that one of my old colleague from 9 years ago had passed away. He was a good friend but we were not in touch now... He was a kind soul, very helpful towards everyone around him and just so full of sunshine... He was just 36 years old and a terrible accident took him away from us... He was fit and full of life till his last day... I had to come back to this song after I heard of his passing... This song is for all those angels who once walked among us and were called away too soon...
This song always reminds me of my best friend who died of cancer over 20 yrs ago. She loved this song and the words really are what I think about losing her. RIP Shanna I will see you again.
There's certain types of music that instantly takes you back in time...this song will always be one of them...love it....I remember seeing l.a.guns,dokken,firehouse and slaughter back in the day

My friend overdosed and died in June I can't get her out of my mind never try a tough love skeem if you care about someone keep them close and love them unconditionally
I kept my daughter close, loved her more than life and me efforts resulted in me taking to her...and finding her body ten minutes later. Tough love means your addict dies on the street. There is no right answer.
I'm sorry. That's really awful. I can understand why you'd like this song. People who have not experienced suicide of a loved one may not comprehend what it does to you as a person.
My family just lost 2 to addiction. Nope tough love just makes everyone feel bad because they don't think they did enough. This song reminds me of her.
I work in jail in WV with about an 85% addict population. Let them know you love them. Let them know you are there for them. Don’t enable but definitely support any effort to get sober. Even if it feels like a joke. They need to know there is life after addiction. They need to know their is hope. Family and friends are a vital part of that hope. Bless you all for your suffering. Sorry for your loses. It’s a mad world.
Had the pleasure of seeing Phil and Tracii and the rest of the new band at Bogarts in Cincy this past fall. Been almost 28/29 years since I'd seen them is Norfolk. Still blew me away!
Talk about missing out. I was 13 in 1989... All I ever wanted to do was play drums in a hard rock band. By 1993 this stuff was all but done. By the time I was old enough to get out there and do something it was over. The scene was gone. The grunge and nu-metal bored the shit out of me... So, if you got the chance to participate, rejoice! no its not! metal went back where it always belonged! underground! go get your self a set and play! there will always be a place for metal! if its in your heart then its alive and well!!
Justin Jetty Oh I still play! You can see in the "ME" album on my profile. Or, search for Bloodline Riot "Letting Go". That was the last high production thing I did. I still teach drums too. It's the scene that I miss. Then again, I got a nice taste of it in the 90's Detroit scene, where hard rock was still being played. That was from 1995-1997 or so.

A real 80’s ballad. Love this song & the singers voice.
Mr Phil Lewis one of the great 80s band along with Traci Guns who literally put the guns in gun's n roses 🤘
We still here! ;)
Agreed
Yes what a good song
I’d do anything to go back there to the ‘80s, best era in my book.
The music of the 70's, 80's, and early 90's is the best.
So with you on that!! I grew up with this music! Today's music (if you want to call it that), is garbage!! ~Joe :)
Not all of today's music is bad Joe. Give the newcomers a chance.

It was the coolest ballad of the 80's bands
Every rock band had to have at least one ballad on every album back in the day. There were some really good ones to, this included.
