So, Jeff Beck pops his head 'round the door, and mentions there's a little sweets shop on the edge of town. So - we go. And - it's closed. So there's me, and Keith Moon, and David Crosby, breaking into that little sweets shop, eh. Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big Bengal tiger. I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shopowner and his son... that's a different story altogether. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes. Nasty business, really. When in reality Randy just said he finds himself doing the flashy EVH stuff live because audiences love it. They approached the instrument completely differently and both were absolute masters of their styles. Randy, however, was a more serious minded musician, while Eddie was a more flashy rock guitarist type.
Vocally (except Maynard) that was horrible..
@@jackolson8775 he still went to watch him play though. He really had some sort of weird thing for Randy.
Jelly nailed it! And Wolfie, I have no words! ❤ thanks for sharing
Maybe stop calling a 30 year old man Wolfie.
He sucked and had no business on that stage. That face tatted meth head should go back to working at McDonald's
Just demonstrates there is no one who can touch Ozzy's vocals.
In terms of unique sounding ozzy was truly 1 of a kind but come on Maynard is S tier. Him coming out for ozzy (and his Comfort zone) shows how much he respects the prince of darkness
Yeah ozzy is a bit outside of Maynard's wheelhouse but he did good
Ozzy had an amazing vocal range in his prime. No one can touch it. People who don't or can't sing have no clue.
No doubt Ozzy had a voice!! Much respect for that man. He is an icon 🤘🤘
That’s true! Goes both ways though, who could sing a Tool song and give you chills like Maynard?
How has Billy and Steve not been added to the rock and roll hall of fame yell, Billy still sounds awesome after all these years and Mr ray gun is a staple of the 80s rock scene
When i listen to these guys singing. It just shows me how Good Ozzy was. None of them a patch on the Man from Brum.
Which makes me think the songs were selected for them to be out of their wheelhouse by design to not upstage him. It's pretty much universally agreed that Mama We're Coming Home would have been a better fit for him.
Hate to break it to you but it goes both ways. If you heard Ozzy trying to sing something out of his wheelhouse you'd feel the same way. Imagine Ozzy singing something off Undertow like Bottom.
Ozzy’s a tenor which is at the upper end of the male vocal range, Maynard and Billy are both baritones,no idea about jelly roll but he sings primarily country. All 3 songs were well out of the range of all the singers performing them so they were never going to do well.
Awesome! 🤟 I voted almost
everyday for OZZY. Well deserved ❤
MJK killed it!!!!
That was great, Ozzy deserves such a stellar tribute.
What a fu**ing epic performance from some amazing artists 🔥
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉wow!!! That was great!!! Mama made me emotional, love you forever OZZY!!!
MJK expressed in an interview with Allison Hagendorf that he was nervous to do this because it is out of his range. He was correct, but it is still buttery smooth. What an all-star line lineup!
I was thinking about that exact interview while i watched this. He also said in another interview, that the first Black Sabbath album was what inspired him to make music. Therefore Tool would not exist if it weren’t for Ozzy
No Tool wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for Black Sabbath
Ozzy was one member of the band
@@joshceja-ut9hz Tool was far more influenced by King Crimson than Sabbath or Ozzy's solo career. But I think its safe to say they would have sounded different if Ozzy/Sabbath never existed.
@@blppt
Agreed 👍
@@blppt I think Danny was heavily influenced by King Crimson. I've read Maynard has always been an omnivorous listener (including Sabbath, joni Mitchell, Devo)
This made me happy! It also lets me know how much I suck at guitar. But I’ll never quit. 🤘🏾
Really appreciate Jelly Roll going to support rockstars. I saw him at Bon Jovi's Musicares and now he's here at Ozzy's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
He sounded like crap. Off key for most of the song.
Jelly Roll is over rated
Way too quivering in his voice, screams nervousness.
Jelly Roll will do just about anything to promote himself. No hate - just the facts.
😂😂😂 XOXO this keeps jelly supported... you don't have to like tha man..
Who didn't tear up when they all went and hugged and kissed Ozzy at the end?
Who never made it past the big boy who turned Ozzy’s music into country music?
This has me smiling ear to ear. Thanks for uploading ❤
This just shows how irreplaceable Ozzy is. Ozzy is a one of a kind and i lived during his lifetime.
I am not a fan boy of ozzy by any means but I have to agree with you on this. Those songs without his voice just don't sound right Or nearly as good! Zakk singing them is a lot closer IMHO.
Check out a band called Count Raven and another band called Sheavy. It's insane how much the singers sound like Ozzy.
I saw their act at the Holiday Inn on the Jersey turnpike last weekend.
Maynard, love it, Vocals were great,
Boy… this Andrew Watt guy never misses an opportunity to insert himself into a situation that doesn’t need him whatsoever.
He looks like he thinks everyone is there to see him.
Zakk is ripping the No More Tears solo and this idiot is filming that fucking other idiot 😂
Horrible producer for ozzy millennial dip shit
LMAOOOOOO that’s exactly the impression he gives off. Dude wants to be everywhere without considering if he should be there.
That was crap
Oh that would have been badass to see that. Wow! Wow! Ozzy Osbourne is the king of rock and roll
WAIT! 😱
THIS JUST HAPPENED! 😱 How the heck was this not publicized all over the internet that this was gonna happen? Where's the full show?
It's GREAT that they are honoring before he's gone. I never understood why the person is honored after they're gone. Do it while they are alive so they can see how much they are loved and appreciated. This is great!
It was last night on Disney+ which I didn't have so I had to pay to watch it but it was worth it! It was all over the internet for those of us that follow Ozzys every move. :)
That was awesome!! ❤❤❤
Wow Billy sounds brilliant
That was awesome. All involved honored Ozzy. I am most happy he could be on stage to experience the performances. Thank you for posting.🔥🤘💀🤘
"So there I am, in Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, at about 3 o'clock in the morning, looking for one thousand brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night. But, sure enough, I got the M&Ms, and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show." -Del Preston, Wayne's World 2 😂
Too funny!
😂🤣😅
Excellent
Oh PLEASE say they're going to do a full Ozzy tribute album with these guys. Billy Idol on No More Tears and Jelly Roll Mama I'm Coming Home were amazing
Zakk, Rob, and Chad were awesome. IMO, they should have let Zakk sing all 3.
I agree. The vocals were kind of awful. Sounded like a back bar cover band. Too bad
Yeah... Listening to Zakk Sabbath since the album is out on steaming and wow, does he come close.
Zakk has the voice more similar to the ozzman
Week or so after Dimebag was killed saw Zakk , touring with BLS, do an acoustic solo performance of mama, I'm coming home, I'll never forget that moment
the tribute is for ozzy not for us
Everyone one sounded awesome and everyone looked like they were having a blast!! Andrew Watt bringing the energy and Zakk killing the solo was awesome to see!!
Crazy that he wasn’t inducted into the hall of fame like 30 years ago
But that’s how it gooooes
The Lord of Darkness prevailed!!
Ozzy has been my idol my entire life. This makes me cry like a baby
It was at the 2:00 mark that I it figured out! He looks so much like Valerie!!! Excuse me while I go cut some onions
This is the best! Wolfgang understood the assignment! 👏 They all did a amazing job! ❤ I felt like I was at a 80s house party all over again! 🤘 😅
Wolfgang, a beast!! Jelly is on point too!! Killer tribute to the great Ozzy!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
THANK YOU SHANE! I GREW UP WITH SABBATH AND OZZY'S SOLO RECORDS...LEARNING FROM RANDY RHOADS PLAYING AS A YOUNG GUITARIST! THIS IS A TERRIFIC CAPTURE! EXCELLENT FILMING/VIDEO-ING? SALUD! ^..^
what about Blizzard of ozz albums those two masterpieces. Ozzy became solo with Bark at the Moon
Dearest Ozzy!
53 years I have loved you and your music. A true mentor for all people everywhere.
No ordinary man.. thank you Ozzy!❤❤
Linda
MJK was the ultimate complement to Ozzy! He don’t just show up to things because he’s asked to. He does them for a reason and him showing up to honor. Ozzy makes me respect him even more. But who are the music? World could say no to Ozzy. Both men are true living legends
Ozzy was in fremont California signing his album BLIZZARD OF OZ, I told him I won a scholarship to study rock and roll, ozzy asked me 'do you know i secret to rock and roll,?" I said no, he then told me THE SECRET TO ROCK AND ROLL
Hey I have a scholarship to learn rock&roll .🤣🤣🤣😵💫😬
OZZY is a freaking LEGEND!!!¡! ❤️❤️❤️ I can't stop crying. We Love you OZZY!!!!😢😢😢
Maynard ate. He should've sang all the songs.
