Hi Brenda - I had heard about cows in the streets, so I wasn’t surprised… they mostly stand to the side and stand out of traffic, that is impressive! Plus the drivers and people just go around them if needed. It was fun to see the camel too, though we didn’t take the time for a ride. 😄 Isn’t this temple impressive, and over 300 years old too. Hi Anna and Alf! 😄🛺 Isn’t it interesting to hear all the beeping in traffic - that’s how they all say hi, I’m here! It’s not really in anger or frustration like we have here in the states, where most polite drivers won’t honk very often. The Temple was amazing with all the intricate carvings- once I got home I wishedI had taken more photos. I loved seeing the elephants and other animals. The temple has been well cared for and survived well over the long years. O yes, there were quite a few street dogs and a few cows too, just hanging out on the streets. We saw people feeding the dogs from time to time. Nice thing was they didn’t bark or chase people, they were very mellow. Thanks for joining us on another day of adventures! I find visiting these kinds of places, especially different countries, it gives me a whole new perspective to where I live. Me too, I dream of going away some where warm, and sunny! 0-5 minutes of sunshine a day isn’t enough. 😂 But seriously, the carvings were so impressive, I wish I had taken more pictures - the whole temple was covered! Love the views walking those streets. From your opening sequence the hotel we stayed in just across the narrow arm of water was visible. We loved their roof top restaurant with its great views. That temple was wonderful The carvings can be amazing. After your exciting day those night time images looked so lovely. Hope i get chance to visit again. We had scheduled two visits that were lost to Covid and subsequent health problems prevented re booking. Hope those difficulties are now in the past. You are certainly whetting my appetite for a return.

That’s one thing we didn’t do this time, but I think it would be a great experience. I’d love to see more of India including the rural agricultural areas. We found the temple to be quite amazing too! We took some time to walk around carefully and the local guide explained many of the carvings to us. With three stories we couldn’t see everything though- very impressive! Inside there were more carvings and worshipers too- I was happy to see the temple in use! Hi, thanks!! No, we didn't take the time to ride a camel, but that sure would have been fun. I think we would have had to find 3, one for each of us!! lol. Aren't the carvings wonderful- hard to imagine they are over 300 years old and still looking so new. Many thanks for watching, Jen
