@@AdriansCreatures yeah, he's not saving anything, unfortunately. While I think he has the right idea, Filoni isn't a great writer. He's fine when he's slipping in subplots (clone wars, rebels) in other people's stories, but he lacks the vision and depth to create deeper narratives. It's why Lucas kept such a tight reign on what was allowed when he had the IP, specifically with Filoni. And the IP has been so damaged that the vast majority of fans, casual and dedicated, have simply tuned out. Ahsoka is dying hard as far as it's audience goes and even revealing Thrawn in live-action (the character who literally saved the IP in the early 90s) had no real impact now. The sad reality is that everyone is fairly apathetic towards the IP and that's because Disney shit on it for so long. Dave could literally write a masterpiece, which I personally don't think he has the ability to do, and it would still be a hard climb back up for the franchise. And Ahsoka is far from a masterpiece. It's actually boring as all hell with almost infantile writing. Which really sucks because you can see how great it could have been. But that's been the case with almost all of Disney's 'Space Wars'. Missed opportunities.
IP= Intellectual Property. When talking about it here in accordance to Star Wars you look at it in its entirety. So, films, tv, toys, books, and more. Anything which is tagged with the Star Wars name. And that’s a problem. You can have crappy films and it doesn’t ruin an IP. Dungeons and Dragons released some super crap films in two decades ago, yet it didn’t affect the table top overall. Hence the IP wasn’t damaged. Disney on the other hand, has completely destroyed faith in the core IP. Which is devastating to a product. Which means that even things which are actually fairly solid (the Andor problem for example), people won’t care because the whole idea of the IP has been tainted. You usually have an opportunity to recover from something bad with a future release, but only if the audience will show up to see it. But now the audience just doesn’t care enough to even bother. And that’s probably the most heartbreaking part of the whole affair.
I mean, he teases us with Ahsoka calling Thrawn the "Heir to the empire", which is a reference to the Legends book trilogy about Thrawn called "Heir to the Empire". Filoni is bringing Legends into the main canon.
The scariest thing about Aboloth is her avatars. She doesn’t just poses people, she consumes their entire identity into her own leaving them just conscious enough to feel their suffering. She even takes on aspects of her avatars personality’s into her own. Also, Luke never found the dagger of Mortis, they just killed all of Abaloth’s avatars the old fashioned way (although with GREAT difficulty).
@@TimHealy-fj9gvso male characters can only be defeated by male characters and female characters can be defeated by both male and female characters female? Grow up

Shin keeps pointing out "Witches". It's repeated over and over again in her script, that she doesn't seem to like, or want anything to do with witches. She seem like she is getting more and more critical about everything and disillusioned. I see Shin turning to the light side, and Baylan dying this season. Remember the scene in the forest, where Ahsoka kills Marrok. Shin is flabbergasted at how fast and effortless Ahsoka killed him....she even stopped mid fight to just stare in awe. I think Ahsoka will be the beacon of light to turn her.
I also think that her shock came from the fact that she may not have known that Marrok wasn't human. She trusts in The Force, but not The Dark Arts, Sith Alchemy, and Nightsister Magick that is connected to its power. There's still hope for her. Baylan seems to have apprenticed her to be something neither Jedi or Sith.
you have a much darker option, when she ask if Baylan is training her to be like Ezran he dodge the question and say he is training her to be more, what is she is supose to be sometype of vessel for Abeloth, her avatar? someone that was trained in the light and the dark side.
i get the feeling with each commentary and look exchange that shin is some what a guardian angel to sabine for some reason, being overly critical of her like a mother would be of her daughter, quite a weird vibe
I think the fact they go after Sabine and Ezra or maybe what happens when they find them will be what drives Shin maybe not to the light side but away from Baylan because of how she reacted when Thrawn told Baylan to follow them at his own pace.
Makes sense, In Norse mythology Skoll and Hati chase the sun and the moon and when they catch and eat them they cause the start of Ragnarok. If Baylin Skoll and shin Hati are allegories for that myth then them chasing something they don’t understand until they find it which causes the death of all things would be Abaloth.

@@Project_XXII The Yuuzhan Vong are only potent because the are highly advanced and also immune to the effects of midiclorians/the force. They /do/ come from a dead galaxy, but the events being portrayed refers to something historical being brought out, where the Vong are entirely new to the star wars galaxy because they annihilate every galaxy they come across. To me, it screams something different than the Vong, but I'm hesitant to say Abeloth because she is the raid boss that takes out all other raid bosses. Even with the Dagger of Mortis, she doesn't actually die, she just gets shoved in the Force Hell for a long time until she claws her way back out. The Ones die by the Dagger because it drains their force ability, but Abeloth is too strong for even the dagger to absorb.
Honest just from what I've seen of shin Hati, I'm hoping she becomes an avatar of abeloth, just the looks and apparent acting ability of ivanna, I think it would be a great fit
@@Lewis-jn8ry They didn’t know Ray Stevenson was going to die when they wrote the script for the show. He could definitely survive this season and could possibly be recast.
The fact that Huyang was the one who told these stories to the younglings suggests that he's the one who might be able to tie together all of these threads in the show.
It just was so odd that Dave brought in the father, daughter, and son into canon but not Abeloth. He literally has to be thinking about how to bring her into canon over the last decade or so.
We need the story to be pushed. Go for it. Swing for the fences. Make it fresh. I’m all for it. Something like this could easily set up the Dawn of the Jedi movie.
Time to go into a bold new galaxy far far away right? I love connections to the past but I think the show has demonstrated that sometimes Huyang is all you need. Instead of relying on it as a crutch, it should be used sparingly so that we enjoy it that much more when we do see our legends. Sometimes less is more. As for DOJ I’m just hoping that Filoni and Favraeu are at least overseeing it, otherwise we might get another Force Awakens.
@@iwantgoals1566 the reason why I mentioned the connections to the DOJ movie is we could see the new galaxy and Paradea from the beginning. Also, I’m pretty sure Dave oversees a lot of projects now creatively. Making sure that there’s proper connections to the rest of Star Wars.
@turkeysandwich1998 they could just reshuffle some stuff and say well maybe I this Disney version might set up that well abeloth was exiled/banished to Peridia. If she appears well all will need team up avengers style
I think it's worth mentioning that right after Baylan says "can't you see it", they look up and he says "the enemy of our enemy is our friend". Could just be a throw away line they wanted to use to talk about the bandits, OR it could be foreshadowing something more
I also think that Thrawns line to Sabine had some double meaning. "You've gambled the fate of your galaxy on (something, don't remember what)" That is..a strange line for HIM specifically, in my opinion.
@@azazaz4627”you’ve Gambled the fate of your Galaxy on that belief” Grand Admiral Thrawn to sassy Sabine talking about Ezra and whether or not he was Alive.
Maybe Filoni is writing The Mother/Abeloth as originally having been a Great Mother of the Dathmiri? If she was already a powerful, long-aged Force user it would explain why the springs would have transformed her into such a god-like entity. Maybe Abeloth is what Palpatine is ultimately trying to emulate for *THE* Galaxy after having met and learned the story from Mother Talzin.
I'm doubtful of this. Abeloth is a part of lore few know about and this show is already constrained by people who didn't watch Rebels or Clone Wars. Abeloth would further restrict the audience to a teeny tiny niche. With two episodes left and no prior hints about any of the Mortis gods, this seems farfetched. If they wanted to introduce someone like the Mortis gods, they should have had Huyang tell that story to Ashoka while they killed time in hyperspace.
If you take into account that Ahsoka is the only one alive that visit Mortis. The ones assisted in her resurrection. The Father assisted Anakin with transferring the Spirit of The Daughter into the lifeless body of Ahsoka. This is cannon from the clone wars series. If they show Mori flying around. You know something is about to go down.
@@Metro498 I think its slightly different. Mori was rather present during Rebels, almost constantly following Ahsoka, but with the events around the show, Mori is not seen at all, potentially meaning Mori is afraid, which the Daughter would be afraid of the Mother on her own.
My guess is that they might hint at Abeloth by the end of this season, but this show has waaaaaaay too much on its plate to go into that much lore to catch everybody up on what Abeloth and the Ones and the Mother and Father and all that past before properly introducing her.
Baylon told Shin was trained for ‘something more’ which would be to either be Abeloth or drink from the fountain but I bet she refuses to and that’s the betrayal. I also bet that when Ahsoka time traveled is what caused the shift.
I think Zeffo are more likely. The scene with Baylan, Shin, Morgan and Thrawn, the wall behind them has Zeffo writing engraved on it. I suspect the Nightsisters are keen to leave because their looting woke something up.
There was meant to be a Zeffo that was referred to having trained Ben in the darkside, told to go see them by Snoke if I remember right. It was supposed to be a ridiculously powerful darkside user that is beyond the mortal turmoils at that point, the struggles of the galaxy meant nothing to them. But it never got followed through with. Its possible they are leeching that idea into the shows direction, especially with how people wanted either a fully fleshed out enemy that was understandable to make a rise, Thrawn, or something completely their own character like many pointed out in regards to Snoke, having wanted Snoke to be his own being outright.
Abeloth would be an epic addition and could give new purpose to Anakin's character. Since he is probably a form of force deity now, maybe they could use his character as one to fight and contain/destroy Abeloth, similar to Legends Luke
I love how everyone has been thinking the same as me when I read the stories of Aboloth I remembered Luke never killed her and she was still out there waiting for the next time she could be free.
An Abeloth-scale villain would make more sense why Luke would flee and become a recluse of sorts in the first place than what was posited in the Star Wars official "Sequel Trilogy"! Luke would literally need his dad, and many other legendary Jedis and Siths with him to fight her off! 🤣🤣🤣
GREAT. Lord Baylan Skolls wants to seek the beginning... Like many holly books say "In the beginning", I think that Skolls wants to find the "beginning" where there was VOID or DARKNESS so that he can "stop it all" from happening again. Maybe he want's to terminate who ever is left on that shrine where Anakin killed the Father and the Son, and where the Daughter was killed too. After that, I don't think he gave it much of a thought about afterwards.
What makes this more plausible is the fact that Baylon and Shin share the same names of the wolves in the ragnarok prophecy; Skoll and Hati. If you've ever played God of War: Ragnarök, or have studied the prophecy in norse mythology, you can see tidbits everywhere in it that Dave has evidently taken inspiration from. If that's the case, Skoll is going to meet a terrible fate after "eating the sun," and Hati may become Abeloth's avatar of darkness in this iteration.
Given that Filoni has used the Mortis beings and world between worlds already, I think it’s completely reasonable to think Abeloth might be in play here. Remember, Abeloth started out as the Mother, was corrupted to become Abeloth, and then was imprisoned by the Sister and the Brother.
The bad thing is, the cooler all of this is... and the more FANTASY it is... it just makes Ep 7 - 9 more of a sore thumb. Why they didnt just admit it SUCKED, and announce a do-over, is beyond me.
I think you’re right. Notice when the episode fades to black at the end, there’s just a couple seconds of a noise you hear after it goes black that I think is what’s calling Baylan. And sounds like you might be right on the money. “I trained you to be something more.” 😮
I think it makes more sense that it's Kujet. The Zeffo already have a connection with Dathomir, the Nightsisters, and even Peridea. Also there is a ton of ur-Kittât script all over the ruins and featured prominently enough to be able to be translated...
Baylen even mentions that “you must first destroy in order to create” he could just be talking about war but Abeloth is what the Killik refer to as a Destroyer. That when the force is unbalanced enough she breaks out of her prison world and goes on a campaign of destruction.
I highly doubt that Disney has the balls to do it just because Kathleen Kennedy refuses to do anything that she can not personally take credit for creating and ruining.
Baylan...One of the BEST Star Wars characters... His presence, words, motives... WOW !!!! Hope he was alive to watch the love and amazement fans are showing to this character.
Oooooo, I love this theory. Hopefully Disney can be a little more creative then they have been and come up with something like this. Love this video. This is the first video I’ve watched of yours and you already have me intrigued.
If you think about it Paridia is also a graveyard, a planet surrounded by death, perfect place for Abeloth. And judging by the writing on the wall from the Zeffo's they would have been around at the time when she was sealed, and why everyone would have fled from that galaxy. The only way to prevent her from corrupting more people and freeing herself would be to take everyone and flee out of range of her control.
I'm so hoping this is the way Feloni takes this! This is exactly what Star Wars needs! I think your theory about Baylon sacrificing Shin to Abeloth is right. However, I think Abeloth after taking over Shin will instantly destroy Baylon.
I like where this is going. It’s refreshing. Very different than what we’re used to but still feels like the SW Universe. I’m invested now. It’s like watching something evolve into what you had always hoped it would. Filoni is A#1
you pulled that from my Brain. :D. I was thinking those same thoughts you were. I had watched a bunch of reactions to Episode 6 of Ahsoka and started thinking about what could be a destructive force that is "the Beginning" that Baylan could be referencing. Abeloth is what I came up with too. that is so cool. I am excited for the next two episodes.
I think this series will introduce Abeloth who in turn becomes the main villain in the mandoverse. Perhaps they will build towards all out war against her for the Filoni movie. Perhaps it will ultimately take the combined efforts of Thrawn, nightsisters, Mando, Grogu, Luke, and Ahsoka to take her out.
The issue of Abeloth becoming Canon in Ashok is that how would this tie into the first order. Due to Ashoka takes place before the first order is formed there is going be a time gap they are going to have to explain due to if it is Abeloth this would be bad for the know Galaxy
Yes, all of this! 100% on board. Abeloth was one of the last, and unfinished, character arc sof the New Jedi Order books that I was reading after Caedus was defeated. And Ben Skywalker's Lost Tribe of the Sith girlfriend abandoning him due to Abeloth's call was bad ass. I could only dream.
At first I was like, this theory may be a bit too far, but then after thinking and sleeping on it, I will genuinely be disappointed if this is not building up to Abeloth. It is just too perfect.
Star wars needs Abeloth, after the defeat and destruction of the emperor the only way to keep fans going and wanting more is having an extremely powerful and terrifying villain like Abeloth, i mean Abeloth was that powerful and dangerous that jedi and sith two enemies decided to work together to try defeat her, thats how insane she is, that would be bloody awesome
That is what the Sequel Trilogy should have literally been about! Maybe if Disney did NOT grab the Star Wars IP, there would have been a better chance for that happening! After all, George Lucas originally planned for three cannon trilogies in the first place - and the best way to go out is to go out BIG! And a Thanos-sized eldritch horror like Abeloth would fit the bill for such an epic villain! And the actress who fits the bill perfectly for the role would be Eva Green! 🤦♂️🤦♀️
She was what the Sequel Trilogy should have had as the villain (the perfect reason for the synthesis of the Jedi and Sith working side-by-side)! And I would nominate Eva Green for the role! 🤣🤣🤣
To add to this, we also know that the Nightsisters, including Talzin, are fully aware of the Mortis beings. They know the Father, they harness the powers of the son and daughter, and they even recognize the beast forms of the son and daughter. Abeloth is what I first thought of as well. My other thought is the spirits of the Triumvirate. Traya was also wanting to end the cycle, the ship is called Sion and Nihlus, well if you played KOTOR II and payed attention to his ship, you may see that he may still be alive. How or why would they be on this planet though, I don't know.
Perhaps the event that freed Aboleth a little bit from her confinement was Ezra and Ashoka’s journey into the world between worlds. It would be interesting if Ashoka herself having lept through time created the imbalance that she has to now face in season two. Just conjecture but I would be so down if that was the answer. Also I like the idea that there would be a price paid for up ending the flow of time like they did in the world between worlds.
I really hope it is aboloth, I was literally thinking it was her when I watched episode 6 the first time. It totally could be, from my understanding Everytime there was a shift in the force she was able to break free and the son and daughter had to go battle her and put her back in her prison. Since they're both dead, I'd say the death of palpatine would be a significant shift in balance simply with how powerful he was. Plus Vader turning to the light would also have an effect I would think
In the latest episode of Ahsoka, Baylan tells Shin Hati that she was "trained to be so much more" than Jedi. Could it be that he has been preparing her to be Abeloth's next host/avatar? That would make sense to me!
Im not sure Baylan would sacrifice his Padawan like that? Maybe its wishful thinking, but he doesnt seem like the type to go full Thanos and sacrifice someone close to him like that? Especially after all of the loss hes been through when the Temple fell. Remember how he blames Anakin/Vader? I think hes actually, in good faith, looking for something that could make a difference and change things. but he doesnt know what it is. If it is Aboleth, maybe shes manipulating him so she could take him or Shin over. I think theres a team up of Baylan/Shin with Ezra/Sabine/Ahsoka to fight her off. And they stop her. BUT what if she already has avatars in place that she finally puts into play because the known galaxy will be weaker fighting off Thrawn. And then, she sends in the Vong or some other race to find her an ultimate avatar?
Unless that’s been her purpose the entire time, to be trained into a strong capable Avatar for Abeloth to control, Shin even looks like a human version of her
The runes or glyphs on the castle were apparently also Zeffo glyphs. But here we can assume that the zeffo were corrupted over time into the dark side by Abeloth, which is somewhere on Peridia... 🤔
Yeah, so remember when baylan told shin she was trained to be something greater? What if she is the sacrifical vessel for Abeloth? It was mentioned in the video that Abeloth lures force users in to take over thier mind and body so yk, maybe there is a possibility
I absolutely love this theory! And it would be crazy if Abiloth was the one who created the Dathomir witches. It would explain their Magick. I seriously hope this is where it's going and it adds such a great galactic threat to the mix on top of Thrawn
When Baylan first said something was calling to him, Abeloth was the first thing I thought of and while that would be a good story to explore I think it would be wrong for her to be introduced into this time period. This is Thrawns moment, he cannot be upstaged by Abeloth. So if Baylan and Shin end up awakening Abeloth it has to be with the Caveat that she remains trapped on Peridea for now at least. Maybe this could be explored post Rise of Skywalker instead with her returning to the known galaxy then. Abeloths introduction to Disney canon also offers the possibility of Darth Krayt finally appearing and that would be amazing as well as he is one of the key figures in her final defeat. But as I said Grand Admiral Thrawn has to be the main threat for the near future up until the Rise of the First Order at any rate. Thrawns absence from the First Order unfortunately means he may be killed in Dave Filonis movie but who knows. One interesting thing to consider is if the Chimaera leaves on the eye of Scion and Ezra, Sabine and the imminently arriving Ahsoka are left behind how will they get back to the galaxy. Could the next series of Ahsoka have them stuck in this new galaxy while Thrawn wages war back in the known galaxy. Another interesting thing which you did note is the possibility of Shin being possessed or taken over by Abeloth. Abeloth is obsessed I believe with physical beauty so it is likely taking over the body of someone like Shin would appeal to her. This would be a horrible end for a character I've really liked in this series along with her Master Baylan.
We also have no idea what a possessed or consumed Shin would look like, it’s not like this stuff has to 100% be like legends. It’d be interesting to see the Shin that was on her way to redemption internally fighting the demon possessing her.
I agree that Thrawn needs to be built into his own threat first and deserves some time. In the earlier episodes they made it clear alot of imperials are a foundation of the new republic, they may leave ro join Thrawn. This could force the new republic to join with the reformed Mandalore and bridge the shows together. I think they need time to create a new order of Jedi based on balance before they could fight Abeloth. A sick finale could be her invading the cosmic realm with an army of twisted creatures/possed beings. Anakin, Luke and Ashoka could fight her while the new order jedi lead by Ezra, Sabine and Grogu fight off her forces to buy them time.
I just watched solo last night for the first time, had no idea they put the maw in that, as well as live action crimson dawn maul literally first time seeing any of that
There isn't enough time in two episodes to establish all of the background to understand this. Even introducing Mortis Gods would require a ton of time, let alone a brand new character.
Be wild if we get Ray Stevenson's baylon in bad batch season 3? See how he met shin? Surprise for fans if he did record dialogue for the final season? Hope bad batch get frozen in Carbonite. To be awakened in their prime age in time to aid our heroes in the defeat of thrawn and or abeloth? In the filoni movie?
The prospect of Abeloth returning to Star Wars is absolutely bonkers. Perhaps Baylan has journeyed to Peridea with the purpose of locating a formidable being from Star Wars Legends, who represents the most dangerous dark side adversary the Jedi have ever encountered. Since we already know Baylan is familiar with the legends of Peridea and firmly believes, that he can alter the destiny of the galaxies through this mission
If Filoni cooks this up and brings Abeloth in as the big bad, he will be able to set Thrawn up as an reluctant ally to the New Republic to defeat their common enemy, which would be the only reason I could think of that Thrawn's tactical abilities wouldn't have easily overwhelmed the fledgling New Republic's vast incompetence. He might end up sacrificing himself in the end to destroy Abeloth, which would explain the New Republic's survival into the sequel trilogy and Thrawn's absence.
@@24hourTechSounds pretty good! Though we all know Abeloth never truly stays dead dead! She will recover and reappear when the Force gets distorted again!
Was Shin trained to be a new vessel for Abeloth? Is this why Baylan hasn’t told her everything about his plans or what it is that’s calling him? Will Abeloth thank him for this new body by destroying him? Is this why Ivanna Sakhno said we would feel sympathy for her character? 🤔
Nope…Baylan is probably looking for the nomad Zeffonians and the knowledge of the Sages and it’s probably in their Temples on Peridea that the NightSisters co-opted and which probably houses the Throne of Balance upon which he would gain such power to bring peace
G'day from Tassie. You hang in there VK. I know your RUclips journey is helping with your self worth and even as a distraction. As you can see by the number of positive comments you have people from the other side of the world that care about you.
Love this theory and everything you explain except one thing. I would be very shocked and disappointed if Baylan was willing to use Shin as a host for Abeloth. Baylan and Shin, IMO, seem so close that Baylan would be willing to forget about this new power (Abeloth), if Shin was not font of it. But to give you another argument for why Shin be a host for Abeloth (even though I would not like it), is that Baylan explains to Shin that he trained her to be more than just a Jedi - he trained her to be the host for the most powerful being to ever live?
They don't seem close at all considering they are master and apprentice. Baylan never even told her about his jedi days or fall of jedi until this episode.
I immediately thought about abeloth during the episode. But I’m not sure… that’s a HUGE thing. They’d have to change her and bring Luke back. We will see.
I still don't like the idea of Abeloth, because it doesn't make sense to add her in 30 years ahead in the timeline. But, I really do like the idea of the Pool and Font being located on Peridea. It fits Ahsoka's arc as the Daughter bathed in the Pool to transform into a One, and it would be beyond awesome if Ray Stevenson was immortalized as the new Son by Baylan drinking from the Font. I don't actually think we'll get that, my gut still says the "power" is Zeffo related and will tie into the "Dawn of the Jedi" movie. The fact that there are Zeffonian hieroglyphs on the Nightsister Temple is more evidence of it being the Zeffo than there is evidence of it being Abeloth.
If they do introduce it they will do it in a way that makes sense. He introduced the ones with George Lucas when making those episodes, George even had to be reared back because he was going to go even more intense with the ones. Im sure if he introduces abeloth he probably talked to George about her and has a good plan incorporate her story.
@@josephhetzenauer1890 the best thing to remember when talking about Dave is that he is adamant about NOT adding Legends material unless it builds upon the current and overall story he's trying to tell. Yes, he does add small easter eggs from time to time, but how does Abeloth build on the "Heir to the Empire" story, or the "Dawn of the Jedi" movie that's getting made? We know that the Zeffo are already the canon replacement for either the Kwa or the Celestials. Either way it is canon that they are the one's who first discovered how to use the Force, and then left the main Galaxy after unleashing the first Light/Dark cycle war upon it. We also know there is a Zeffo Temple on Dathomir, which ties them to the Nightsisters already. Then we see the same Zeffonian hieroglyphs along with Dave's version of Ur-Kittat on the Nightsister Temple. Could Dave be adding other aspects of Legends material to spice it up a bit? Sure. But THRAWN is the main antagonist of the series and most likely Dave's movie. What benefit does adding in an even more powerful and Galaxy-threatening antagonist into the mix at this time other than him? Btw, I don't think the Nightsisters are running from anything. It makes more sense that they just want to repopulate Dathomir.
@@BluhmGardens yeah I didn't mean for sure gonna be abeloth I think that's unlikely. But even tho Dave said that. He pulled straight legends material in the son sister and father out of it. He pulls out of legends constantly. What he doesn't do it pull stories from legends. The closest thing is thrawns and the name hero to the empire. Though the story will be nowhere near the same. So he could pull abeloth very likely at some point maybe at the end of thrawns movie who knows. But he definetly pulls from legends alot.
@@josephhetzenauer1890 Like I said, it would be awesome if he brought in the Pool and Font being located on Peridea, and MAYBE hint at Abeloth. But timeline-wise it'd be better to tell that story after the Sequel Trilogy since it originally occurs in 40 ABY.
Great Job. I think you are spot on. I don’t think this is the main arc but Feloni is world building. Like Lucas he likes to weave all these threads and have them available to weave a larger tapestry later on. For people who watched Clone Wars or Rebels…there were many times Feloni alluded to something and many people consider the reference or episode to be a throw away only to find out it had major implications.

@@RicoRaynnok but what is IP ? 🤔
IP= Intellectual Property.
Maybe Filoni is even teasing us when the characters refer to this new galaxy calling them "stuff from legends"
It does seem like everytime a character in his work mentions legends, they are referring to something that is literally in legends.
I mean, he teases us with Ahsoka calling Thrawn the "Heir to the empire", which is a reference to the Legends book trilogy about Thrawn called "Heir to the Empire". Filoni is bringing Legends into the main canon.
"There's always a bit of truth in legends."
- Ahsoka Tano
The scariest thing about Aboloth is her avatars. She doesn’t just poses people, she consumes their entire identity into her own leaving them just conscious enough to feel their suffering. She even takes on aspects of her avatars personality’s into her own. Also, Luke never found the dagger of Mortis, they just killed all of Abaloth’s avatars the old fashioned way (although with GREAT difficulty).

It just was so odd that Dave brought in the father, daughter, and son into canon but not Abeloth. He literally has to be thinking about how to bring her into canon over the last decade or so.
The Father Son and Daughter were in Clone Wars before the Legends books.
They were always canon. Legends writers at the time just decided to connect the concept of Abeloth to the mortis gods but she originally wasn't.

She’s not technically a dark side entity. She’s the embodiment of chaos in the same way the Father embodied the balance.

Why would he? Ahsoka basically IS the daughter. No need to create a workaround to evade some insanely good storytelling.
What if they make it so that Dathomir was actually the forest planet that the ones lived on before going to Mortis? 🤔
It’s for sure a “episode 8 reveal of the true big baddy” similar to Kang in the Loki series if it’s happening at all

It’s interesting how Hera’s son also heard something that she couldn’t. Just a parallel to these two dark side characters.

Abeloth is supposed to be in the Maw. But I am wondering if the key to freeing her is located on Peridia.

Given Baylan's actor sadly passing away, they might have to switch to Shin getting possessed by Abeloth. She looks the part already.
I highly doubt that Disney has the balls to do it just because Kathleen Kennedy refuses to do anything that she can not personally take credit for creating and ruining.

To add to this, we also know that the Nightsisters, including Talzin, are fully aware of the Mortis beings.
It is said Palpatine was aware of the existence of such sheer power as well!
lul, I'm the one who started the Aboleth hype. Considering all the videos, it will be funny no matter if I'm right or wrong.
In the latest episode of Ahsoka, Baylan tells Shin Hati that she was "trained to be so much more" than Jedi. Could it be that he has been preparing her to be Abeloth's next host/avatar? That would make sense to me!
She can be the first form avatar but she won't be the last for certain!
I googled which galaxy this is. It's called Skyriver and it is sentient which explains the Force.

The runes or glyphs on the castle were apparently also Zeffo glyphs. But here we can assume that the zeffo were corrupted over time into the dark side by Abeloth, which is somewhere on Peridia... 🤔
This is a great video josh had me gripped from the thumbnail. Even if that isnt what happens, great theory!
I just watched solo last night for the first time, had no idea they put the maw in that, as well as live action crimson dawn maul literally first time seeing any of that
You got it bro
Let the man cook!! Loving these deep dives, Josh
This would be crazy, if they did this.
I love how im a casual and find this info overwhelming! Sounds incredible!
If he does that I will freaking lose my mind!!!!!!! Great Nerd story, really enjoyed it!
I've been waiting for Abeloth to pop up ever since we were introduced to the Mortis Gods.
What if Shin Hati is Abaloth, and is actually manipulating everyone around her.
When would this have happened?? I could get this though given Shin's blank looks that shes.. different
No
Some fans literally swear Shin Hati looks like her! 🤣🤣🤣
Dave Filoni is a big fan of schlocky writing, would make sense for him to introduce something so stupid.
If the Abeloth thing becomes true I think Shin Hati is a meat suit for Abeloth as well. Baylen also mention she was destine for something grater
Prolly just the first of many! Abeloth is known to have MANY avatars!
Are we going to talk about how much shin looks like abeloth
It would be awesome if this episode opens up all of this. All of these races from the Unknown Regions and other galaxies. Especially the Vong!
Yasssss
I immediately thought about abeloth during the episode. But I’m not sure… that’s a HUGE thing. They’d have to change her and bring Luke back. We will see.
I think having Abeloth in Ahsoka is a bit too sweaty, my guy.
Yep.. still under family Disney's jurisdiction. I would hate to see a dumbed down abeloth
Yup. I love Ashoka but this is beyond a reach
Not really if its setting her up as a big bad for a movie
@@SubremedyI would hate abeloth period. dumb OP character that realistically shouldnt be beatable.
She is too grand in scale for the show tbh!
The night mothers & the mother??? Maybe Filoni drew a new connection??
But timeline-wise it'd be better to tell that story after the Sequel Trilogy since it originally occurs in 40 ABY.
star wars vs star trek in the mcu today now yes 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Josh just straight up start snitching right at the end of every breakdown with he knows is happening 😂
If this story plays out.....Abeloth will try to take Shin's body..becoz Baylan was given ordered by her from the beginning. Get it?
Shin resists so Abeloth kills her and Baylan off for failing! 🤣🤣🤣
I love this theory. Would love to see Abeloth in this canon, she is such an interesting antagonist.
it takes luke to kill her though.... more complex sadly baylon actor died! too 2 episodes left here....be whole season 2 if happens.....n shiin possessed can defeat thrawn nightsisters easily...n luke kill her which goes later 30? years into ep 7-8-9 that are trash films disney made sadly...greed is strong w sith disney power...lucas greed selling star wars idk why is sad.....he sais 1-6 were only meant to be vader was chosen he destroyed jedi n sith alike in end 7 8 9 brought back emperor so dumb...
Even full-powered Luke is NOT convinced Abeloth is totally dead though!
Wookiepedia:
"Beyond shadows was a mysterious plane of the Force to which Force-sensitives went when they separated their minds from their physical beings. The locations beyond shadows each had a corresponding, real location in the physical galaxy. "
Can it be The World Between Worlds?
Aaand where Abeloth was killed:
"However, her remaining avatar bodies were killed, and she was then destroyed by Luke Skywalker and Darth Krayt in the realm of Beyond shadows."
Happy to make conspiracies with you :D
