It's crazy how far we have gone with these Sonic movies. I remember like it was yesterday when Paramount dropped that Ugly Sonic trailer for the first movie and everyone went nuts with it so the studio delayed the first movie for 3 months just to redesign it 😂

@@crazybobert5243 yeah the ugly sonic design was definitely not a marketing stunt, because why would paramount spend all the money to have merchandising and everything made like toys, morph suits and movie cup toppers made with the ugly sonic design in mind if they were just gonna just change it down the road and furthermore, they made a stand in puppet like thing that had the old design with it there was an all blue manikin like one and one with a lot of detail on it to where I don’t think that they would make that for no reason if they were just gonna re-design Sonic and we even got the concept art with Chris Evans as Tom in the Bar with the old ugly looking Sonic design and the concept poster with Chris Pratt as Tom with sonic on the cop car there is a lot of evidence to show that this wasn’t a marketing stunt, and to say about the amount of animation they have done at the time they announced that they were going to redesign Sonic the only bits done for the film with the old design were all of the shots shown in the trailer and the majority of the Baseball scene were finished/worked on with the old design, there’s even the pre-visualization and the deleted scenes from the first movie that used a rough version of the ugly design model
Fun fact: Jeff Fowler was actually involved in making the CGI cutscenes for Shadow the Hedgehog in 2005. I can’t wait to see Sonic Movie 3 this Saturday with my Dad. This is going to be probably be the best movies based on a video game. I can’t wait to see what they do with future Sonic Movies.

Okay, so from what I am hearing... 1. Keanu is effortlessly cool throughout 2. Jim is still awesome as ever 3. The cast is great once again 4. The trio rock 5. The third act is everything 8. There are no continuity errors from the first 2 films 9. The CGI is stellar 10. The music and game references go hard this time around. For people who think Musfasa will beat this movie at the box office just remember a few things. First, the 2019 remake was made around the time when people at least tolerated live-action Disney remakes. Second, as popular as it is, Lion King doesn't have near the modern appeal it once had back then. I mean, it's 30th anniversary this year and no one seems to acknowledge it that much. Lastly, Sonic has a lot of modern appeal with the games, the cartoons, & the movies. So, I think Sonic will destroy Musfasa. Especially with the early reviews.
I'm going to see this film tomorrow at a fan event, and I can't wait to be surrounded by fans from Shadow's game. I can tell when it comes to the moment of robotnik p*ssing on the moon, the theater will errupt with applause. If they know the reference, then it'll be even more fun
I just left the premiere and got a poster of Shadow on his motorcycle. I enjoyed the film very much; it's nice to see how much progress this franchise has made, and I can't wait for Sonic 4. I give it a 7.5 out of 10.
Sonic maybe but Knuckles I don't know, I heard there was a Knuckles and Shadow series planned along the way so we might see two sonic rivals having an actual conversation which I'm excited about. Almost like a cop buddy style similar to Rush Hour or Bad Boys. We might even see them train together to fight more frequently.
Anyone whose played Cyberpunk knows what theyre getting into with Keanu's voice acting. Im not talking shit, but the guy has always been better on screen than in the booth. But i also think hes trying to get into more voice acting, so i do hope he keeps improving!

The Sonic films haven't been perfect, but the good usually outweighs the bad. I know this won't be a 1:1 adaptation of Sonic Adventure 2 (which will surely disappoint people), but I'll leave my expectations at the door and just look forward to having an awesome time at movies
