i don’t care about any other movie no moana no wicked no mufusa if it’s not about this movie IDGAF im too hype for this movie, ever since that post credit scene this was my most anticipated movie ever, and the first trailer coming out on my birthday just built the hype for me and a lot of long time friends and family im watching with, I hope everyone is as hype as i am
The Sonic movies as a whole feel like they are one of those series' you see alot where it takes some time for them to really find their place and hit their stride. But then they manage to find that sweet spot and become amazing. This movie absolutely makes up for the Knuckles miniseries (although I did like that, alot of people understandably didn't). But at the same time, it also doesn't ignore it in the continuity (without spoiling anything, I'll just say that despite the reduced screentime of the human characters, Wade does do a thing in the movie).
Just like the classic Gens games, the trilogy just keeps on building upon itself................................now lets hope that the next movie is more of a "mania" and less of a "4"

I didn’t even think about how Shadow’s backstory with Maria has been reiterated three times this year LOL. I’m really happy to hear that it was well-done though. Like you said, Shadow is that one sensitive character that a lot of people love but he’s super easy to screw up. So I’m glad so much love and care was put into his backstory and characterization. I’m also relieved to hear about Keanu (because people were starting to have doubts after the DLC for SXSG came out). You can tell he loved being in the role and I cannot wait to hear him in a full cutscene!
Unfortunately here in italy the movie comes out on january 1st but i'm sure the wait will definitely be worth it man. Glad you loved it and glad the hype paid off!

Unrelated, but I finally went back and beat the Master King trial yesterday (I've been busy. Hadn't even tried it post-patch). Planning on finally, FINALLY, beating Final Horizon on Friday before going to see Movie 3. Boutta experience peak twice in one day
FH was insane. I do still maintain that it was maybe a little too overly difficult (or at the very least the difficulty was unbalanced compared to the main game), but the story beats in it are really good.
