These jackets are a staple of iconic fashion! They're timeless, classic and will never go out of style. Very popular among street wear and east coast hip hop fashion trends!
Great channel, great videos! Just got two M65 in woodland: one beautiful Winfield 83 with brass zipper, and one gorgeous John Ownbey 84 with the two brass zippers. The latter is a little beat up, but both look look great.
Sometimes the M81 Woodland is really bright, sometimes really dark are these two patterns summer / winter or is that just a variation due to Manufacturing Process ? I had a 1982 Golden Mfg. XSR with scoville brass zippers and the color was pretty dark
Hello everyone I recently purchased an M65 jacket from Alpha Industries, vintage '86. There is a DLA number and a RN 35569 number on the label. What does this number mean? Many greetings from Germany
On the original M65 jackets (color OG-107), the line with the year and contract number must begin with the letters DSA (Defense Supply Agency) 1965-1977 DLA (Defense Logistic Agency) 1978-93 The exception is the Defense Personnel Support Center jackets. There must be a correct NSN and contract number. There is no inner pocket on the lining. There should be no inscription "Made in USA",Made in China,"Made in Korea","Made in Egypt of U.S.A. components".and so on There are no embroidered (sewn) logos of manufacturers on the original. .The last issue of olive, M65 contract jackets for the army was in 91 (American Apparel company).
Sad that the M51 deteriorated to the M65. It was such a sharp looking jacket with metal fasteners and pointed collars. Velcro is cheap and the M65 version just looked sloppy.

Tremendously informative. Thank you for taking the time and effort to present this video, and all your others.
Thank you!

The color depends on the fabric manufacturer.
I have an Alpha from 1987 and a Sew-Sew Styles in OG-107 from 88. Great jackets for windy conditions.
Thanks 4 video... Mystery solved. My M65 Camo jacket is So-Sew Styles from 1982. Zippers made by General.

Отпаривателем лучше всего. Если утюгом, то через ткань, иначе будет блестеть.

Hola. Porque te pasas del año 84 al año 91?
Tú canal es muy bueno.
Gracias.
He acortado el video , de 1985 a 1990, las mismas cremalleras que ya se muestran.
They all look the same. Some narrative would have been nice.
hard to find in Large long

It doesn't have to look sharp, it has to be comfy and practical. Nowadays French army jacket is the closest to m65 but with more modern features
