Thank you for the honest review. You really covered all of the questions I had, and them some. As a RUclipsr, sound is so important to me. I think it's time for me to make the change from my Saramonic mic to the DJI Mic 2.
I just bought the DJI Mic 2 and Insta360 Flow based off of your recommendations. Learning a lot from your videos! One question though, what case do you use for your iPhone? I’m using an Otterbox Defender for my iPhone 14 Pro and the receiver can’t plug into the phone with the case installed on the phone. What case do you use/recommend??
Awesome review! I was really impressed with the difference the noise cancelling and wind screen made. I will definitely be picking one of these up for my videos!
You can utilize the phone's Bluetooth capability for the microphone through third-party apps like BlackMagic or Filmic Pro. It's worth noting that the default iPhone camera doesn't currently support Bluetooth connections, so you'll need a receiver or await a potential update from Apple. Another option is recording audio internally on the transmitter and syncing it in post-production. Its the carbon fiber edition by sandmarc: bit.ly/3DeQHom
Nice review. Is it possible to stream the 'live' sound to airpods to check the sound quality if you are using the bluetooth transmitter and your iphone? I'am using hearing aids and I was wondering if i could use these mics as a solo.
Great post , well done ! So the mic2 can trigger a capture remotely by pressing the link button. But how does it differentiate photo trigerring from video trigerring ?
Finally! A Bluetooth connected microphone. Hopefully Apple can address the connectivity issues in a software update. For now the BM camera app is a great alternative. As always - a great product review Benett 👏🏻
Thank you for the video. Did I understand you correctly - you can't use the noise canceling feature, if you are just using the transmitter with bluetooth?
Need help! I’m looking to use this incognito for hours Will this work just to audio only because video will take up lots of space. Will it work to the voice recorder on phone I’m looking to use mic in pocket Can’t find any video for this
I was thinking of just getting the transmitter by itself, I think that gives you most of the cool features, bluetooth, 32 bit float, etc. I already have the DJI Mic 1, and it works fine, but I think just the transmitter might be a very nice minimal setup.
The transmitters do not connect directly via Bluetooth to my GoPro Hero 12 Black, instead the transmitter can be connected via jack to my GoPro via the Media Mod.
Bro, I have a doubt here. So if I connect one of the transmitters to my DJI Action 4 and start recording, will the audio be recorded with the video inside the DJI Action 4, or will it record the audio separately inside the transmitter and the video inside the DJI Action 4?
Did you use it on iPhone 15 pro max with Bluetooth or with the Receiver? It makes big different. Let me know. I knew it will be good on DSLR cameras but that’s not what I’m looking for. I want to know if it any good for iPhone 15 pro max via Bluetooth?
Question, if im recording a video and the receiver is attached to my dji osmo action 4 , when uploading a video is the audio recording separate and do i have to transfer the audio to the video for it to work , or just when uploading the video the audio recording is sync in with the video ?
Yes the audio is recorded to the video. If you want you can additionally make a backup recording which record he audio speeatley and saves he audio file on the transmitter.
So if I plug the 3.5mm cord into the DJI and into my R6ii ? Will it auto bake the audio into the video? Or do I still need to unload the audio, like hit record and USBc unload audio ? Help please
When you attach the transmitter to your R6ii Camera, it wirelessly sends audio directly to the camera, seamlessly combining it with the video. No need for manual syncing during editing. Plus, you have the option to simultaneously record a backup audio track for added security.
@@rajasimonlooks like you need the receiver so a work around is to go to a shop or get a hold of one to make the changes to your transmitter. I was looking into this too. Bummer DJI did this.
Hu Bennet. I have DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Combo. But, when I try connect DJI Mic2 to my IPhone - voice is not the same clear as if i use it on Osmo Pocket. Don’t you know why so?
Is anyone here facing the following problem? When I start recording the volume of my recording is very loud and the surrounding noise as well, it then quickly dies down to a normal volume and the voic eis much better to understand... WHy is this happening? Noise cancelling is turned off.
I was working in a production company making documentaries and videos for institutions here in Ecuador, they only used rode products , also rode has a few softwares and apps @@BenettGraezer

Thanks for the video, Good day 👍👍👍👍
Thank you too
Where did you record the exterior scenes, including the sand dunes? Looks like a cool place. Thank you for the great video!
GREAT JOB BENETT👍
Thank you!
did you process your audio? also would've loved just hearing dji mic 2 solo without background music or noise like the bluetooth segment
thanks bro, nice info
No problem 👍
Oh man,,,, showing the actual distance 250m on a sand dune.... that's epic! ... Earned my sub immmediately
Thank you so much!
So can we use this mic while recording video with our iPhone? Also, what tripod is that holding your phone?

They have updated it since then, and you now can use the noise-canceling feature with Bluetooth :)
How does it do in rain? How would I protect the mic and still get the audio?
Long distance hiking??
And yet is another great review from Bennett Grazer amazing bro as always it seems pretty nice mic. Keep it up the great uploads well done.
Thanks a ton!

That’s just what I did, use both with Insta and DJI kit👍😀
how did you turn on 32 bit float without reciever?
Can one more transmitter mic of DJI 2 be connected with receiver to record 03 mics at one time kindly do help bro
Can i just get the mic so i can use it on my dji action 4? Or i need to get the receiver too?
Can this be used as a presentation mic and give audio output in Bluetooth speaker?
Haven‘t tried it :/

Hi Benet what is your location there with those beautiful harbors towns and the desert. Is it Turkey? Thanks Mate!

Can you Bluetooth files from mic to iPhone
Hi Benette. Cool Stuff. How does this compare to the Hollyland Lark Max?
Thanks a lot! Haven‘t tested it out, so I can‘t really tell.
Awesome informative video. I will be purchasing the DJI Mic 2.
✌️😎
Thank you so much!
what is the M+9 ?
I keep seeing dji mic2 setup videos with sony cameras. I have a canon dslr. Is this not compatible?
Yes 👍🏻

In the video I did a test recoding connecting the mic via bluetooth to the iPhone 15 Pro Max and recoding it with the black magic camera app.
If I want to record audio of rivers and nature sounds only do I want to make sure I DONT have the noise reduction on?
Yes

hey Benneth is thanks for sharing..
No problem 👍
Very helpful... Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Does it work in Android using only Bluetooth?
How to use it as a Bluetooth mic with the Apple camera app. ruclips.net/video/YrVZ-0EjRtg/видео.htmlsi=ZhpMfJZCUmkenVR9
Thx for sharing 👍🏻 didn’t know that
Thank you pretty helpful
You’re welcome 😊
Can we use for Mobile phone?
Absolutely 👍🏻
What's your post processing?
I use Final Cut Pro. I add a compressor, do some EQ and thats about it 👍🏻
Will these pick up an acoustic guitar and someone singing?
So I don't need to connect with lighting port and bluetooth but I can record internally and use it later is a life saver. let me buy this.
Absolutely 👍🏻
@@BenettGraezer Thanks do you know is it possible to turn the internal recording 32 bit or that can be done only with receiver?

cost?
The combo kit is 349€

everyone is saying when they turn off low cut it sounds so much more better
Yes I leave it off 👍🏻
dji mic sound is sharper than the others. if low cut on it comes too sharp and light. so i also prefet to turn it off .

Check if you have the newest software update and if not do an update. What also helps is formating the dji mic 2 transmitters.
@@BenettGraezer thanks brother, will try and let you know
