I have all of my paid off cars with ABI, but the financed ones still require full coverage. Another thing I hear from other hosts is that the finance companies find out about us doing Turo through the commercial rental insurances. So I'm sticking to regular insurance for financed ones, but the paid off ones I'm saving a lot on since they're on ABI.
I think you can still get full insurance from ABI on the financed ones. If your bank tells you something- just remove ABI. They likely won't go digging and researching what type of insurance ABI is, though. Also, because CarSync is no longer in business with Turo- ABI can no longer cancel your policy if you go over on mileage, because they don't know when I go over mileage, because they don't know when the car is on Turo or not, because they can't access my Turo calendar. So I now drive some miles over the allotted 250/300 miles. However, in case of an accident- I believe they'll ask me for proofs/documentation from Turo/screenshots etc that the vehicle was out on a booking that day or later that day. They'd also want to see my tracker logs for where I was driving/what times. That's where the "250/300 business miles" comes into play! 🗓️
@@Reverend-Race-Horsey once the bank finds out about ABI they will not only repo the car, they will charge $100-$150 a month for the duration of your ownership to give it back. They call it “improper insurance fee”. Also ABI can very well see every month. They don’t even use carsync. They use the GPS company you use. I would be very careful about the overage miles. Because they don’t stop your policy if they find out, they will just deny your claims once you file them.
I’m with ABI, it’s been great! I was paying $200 a car on GEICO and it dropped to $88 for “third party” insurance for my oldest cars and new cars full cover insurance $104🎉
RUclips recommended me your video and I am so thankful, really great stuff Man. btw I was wondering do you need an editor for editing your videos. and I also suggest you to record the window screen from laptop itself rather than recording from camera
Hello Tony. I did want to ask can you make a video about extras on your platform. What are some extras that may be profitable and can be utilized by guests. I live in FL by the beach. 1st time Turo Host trying to learn.
I do Tire Inflators. Some do Unlimited Mileage. I also have a custom extra of additional 150 miles for $25, that I add to the description box of the vehicle. 😉
Hi, thanks for the useful video. I'm from Florida, I have 11 cars, all the cars are registered to me personally, can I get Lula insurance, or do I need to make a transfer to LLC. Any help please.

The commenter was not necessarily being rude but it could be percieved as valuable feedback for the content creator. I’ve seen other content creators on YT get praised for diving right into the information or providing a time jump link past the intro. Great content btw 💯, unfortunately we’re just in the day and age of immediate gratification seekers.
Hey man, been following the journey for a while and had a consultation with you last year which was awesome. I would love to make a website for you (with no cost for design/development) as you helped me out. If you have an email or your # is the same, I'd love to show you what I have in mind. If you have time! Keep killing it!

Wow that's nice!
Yup. Just don't try actually filing a physical damage claim with ABI on those new cars, though! See how smoothly that'll go. 😉 😂
Lulu is not excepting new customers. They have a waiting
list if you go on their website.
So did u drop gieco
I've been wondering about this for months. First time I've seen someone drop the sauce. Cheers.
Thanks!
Love your channel - been awesome to see you grow.
Thank you!
Unfortunately, Lula has an extensive waiting list for Turo customers. Still waiting after several months and phone calls.
Wow that sucks!
Lula has switched up also...they not covering the vehicles if renters don't have insurance...smh

Why are your cars not in llc?
thank you for sharing king Tony!
No problem anytime!
Great video Tony ✅✅
Thank you!
Does DMV will allow transfer the car to my LLC with ABI or Lula insurance? Thanks
You have to stay on top of ABI. Some people say they've had their renters stopped because of no insurance due to ABI not reporting to the DMV.
hey quick question what is the best turo host plan to be on ? the 60 /75/80/85/90?? this will be my first car on turo a 2020 chevy traxs
It really just depends on your situation!

They don't say anything at all!
No Kentucky no Michigan and no Massachusetts for Lula

Yes. ABI/Period X does though.
Why aren’t your cars on your LLc? Kinda seems like a no brainer. Practice what you preach or nah? lol
