My daughter was pressing buttons on my controller and accidentally bought this game off xbox live. Good thing it was only 4 dollars. It was advertised on the home screen. It was actually a very good game. I cant remember the last time i actually enjoyed a good arcade racer. Graphics look amazing too. Feels almost like the old school hot pursuit games
this is the most enjoyable nfs imo, prehapes you should try the other games in this series

I like the fact that this game isn't the kind of racing game where you are in first position the whole race and it just gets very boring, this is fast paced and keeps you on your toes. Great work.

Hải Võ Phan Phước Oh. I can run Hot Pursuit at 60 and Most Wanted 2012 at 30. 😃 I have an MSI Nvidia GT 710. They are 50 bucks and totally worth it. It’s the nicest one I could find because I have an Small Form Factor PC.

i remember playing the older hot pursuit on the computer as a kid.
The best part about it was when you hit other objects, parts of ur car would start to break, so ur hood or ur trunk would be flying up and down. It was a pretty cool game! hope the new one is just as fun as the old one

Evokyr Not ALL custom cars look fucking ugly. It's all about KNOWING how to customize your car. A car is just another canvas for another artist. It takes SKILL to make it look good. And you may not know it, but a LOT of people actually know how to do it.

Looks a lot like Burnout. Also gotta love how when you smash into a cop they lose like half of their car health, yet when they do the same to you, you lose around 3%.

Since when do the graphics matter more than the core gameplay? Also, this is not how the game looks anyway. By the looks of it, it's early development because I recently got it on Steam via sale and with high textures on, it looks amazing in 1080p, especially when you pop that Turbo!

Love the controls and how the game feels and it was a good succesor to the original HP. However they fucked it up so bad when they took MW and made a game that has nothing to do with the original. It's like as if someone too Battlefield game and made the gameplay CODLIKE or MoH like or something.

No physics at all. Cars are tanks.
Seems like it, right? The thing is if you play the game you realize in the first minutes that's not the case. In my opinion this game has the best driving model in 10 years when it comes to NFS: while it's really arcady in the sense that for example it's impossible to spin around, it really needs a lot of precision to stay on the road and if you mess up a corner you have a really hard time to get back into pace and position.

I think you didn't played the Burnout games then, it's literally like this, the physics, the handling, everything, and I've personally love it.
al112v5 i've played both burnout and hot pursuit and i can tell the difference, at least in burnout the handling is far more subdued, hot pursuit is just drifty mess.

Rivals can't touch this. Rivals is like a half assed garbage version of this game. The only thing is I wish this game had Ferrari like Rivals but other than that this game is better in every way. Graphics, physics, gameplay, pursuit tech, map, the lot.

Why is there a pagani cop in a super class. The 911 gt3rs wasn’t in the exotic class but the pagani was and the porsche was listed at 193mph

It's probably related to 'rubberbanding'.
Rubberbanding is when you are far ahead it artificially speeds opponents up or if you're too far behind, slows them down.
It's helpfull ( i think when playing police and you crash to slow a car down) but it's really b ad if you've been leading a race and get pipped at last minute.
Some people even hold back a little near the end to avoid the rbanding and then going all out +nitro on the last mile/kilometre.
In the final product of this race, there was no Pagani, it was replaced with a Vette. The race actually stretched for one more area of the map. & you can only drive a Mercedes sadly.
Just got home from watching the NEED FOR MOVIE! And all I can think of is, Aaron Paul behind the wheel of the Porsche!
I enjoy the drifts and tracks and hot pursuits and interceptors and duels only in this game.

The best NFS game ever! What makes this game awesome is that there are many cars, you can play as a cop and the cool weapons like EMP (or something) which will shoot the enemy with somekind of electrical force, turbo which gives you the extreme boost, jammer which will disable the enemy´s weapons, spike strip which will launch a spike strip behind you, heli which will release the friendly chopper and drop spike strips and road blocks which will put police cars on the road. bad English eh?

I know that. I just said my opinion about all the new NFS games. I still hope that they will remake Underground with that good old night street racing atmosphere with Fast and Furious styled cars and old-school hip-hop music. Love it

In the pre-race cutscene, as the cars fly past, they sound like F1 cars.

google "can you run it" and click on the first site that comes up. select the game you want then click run, it should tell you if your pc can handle that game
Sorry I was a little too direct there, lol. I've always been a big fan of racing games an especially the need for speed franchise. Most Wanted 2012 just didn't appeal to me because there is too much going on in one game. The single player is decent, but it can often be frustrating. The online is the part I really don't like. There is drift contests, jump contests and it seems like you only race once every 10 minutes. As to where hot pursuit is very simple. A lobby for race, hp, interceptor, etc.
Just bought it (on Steam, PC). Blown up to HD on 42" it looks awesome. But very quickly I was turned off of the game for 3 main reasons: 1. No manual transmission. You can accelerate, brake, turn and use nitrous, which just seems too auto-pilot like imo. 2. You can't customize cars (except colour) 3. Many cinematics can't be skipped or turned off, which is bothersome when you got the adrenaline pumping, focus on and just wanna race. My 2 cents anyway. I'm gonna play some Carbon, have fun :)

I don't mean to complain but i hate it when developers make a game look like this, but then when you buy the game, it's not the same as when you first saw it. This gameplay looks so crisp, so great. The actual game itself is great too but it's obviously different from this. I'd like to actually see a gamelay premiere, buy the game, and feel like i'm playing exactly what i saw in the premiere. I know it's not a big deal but it just takes away that special magic that i expect when i play the game.
