The vengeful entrance of the lambo at 1:36 combined with 30 Seconds To Mars is what made me pick up this game a decade ago. That one little scene meant everything to me. The remaster is just around the corner. Guess I need to find my controller.

Actually the helicopter spike strip slowed down both racers and the bugatti cop. You can hear the cops saying "don't lose them now. Go go go". The reventon which was speeding at this time used its momentum to zoom past the bugatti and took down both the racers.
Yes me i have played all the Need For Speed games starting from NFS 2 SE and onwards and im 29 now my favourites are NFS IV High Stakes 1999, NFS Hot Pursuit 2 2002, NFS Underground 2003, NFS Most Wanted 2005, NFS carbon 2006, NFS ProStreet 2007, NFS Undercover 2008 and NFS Hot Pursuit 2010 i like the rest as well.

@It'sME Only the graphics seems good in Heat. The old NFS games had a lot of heart in their games. Each and every race was memorable and the feeling of satisfaction after winning was waay better than the recent NFS games

I can't get over how well "Tainted Love" & "Edge of the Earth" blended together. For the longest time I though they were the same song...I put this trailer up against any game reveal trailer ever made.
The sound design as a whole is done amazingly well in this trailer. The timing of the sirens, engine sounds, helicopter woosh is just perfect and everything blends so well into each other. They even managed to flawlessly mix the beginning and end of "Tainted Love" together like it was natural. I just love the sequence of the Bugatti ramming and shunting the Zonda. It was only 4 seconds yet executed so well from the sound effects

Unfortunately, I didn't dodge the bullet of NFS Rivals. I was hoping it would be just like Hot Pursuit 2010, but when I got the game and progressed through it, I couldn't believe how terrible it was... I couldn't drive in peace without cops chasing me every 5 seconds, no pause menus and the annoying as hell weapon system where other racers use the stupid shock waves or ESF unexpectedly... I'm glad I finally sold that game.

I remember watching it the day it was released back in 2010. I remember getting Goosebumps when the Lambo Cop showed up. Nine years later, and it's still the same. After Pro Street, this was the Last Great NFS. NFS Heat is great though.
Heat is great, it really feels like a true NFS again. It's just missing the competitive gameplay and multiplayer racing and action like Hot Pursuit. This game will always be by no.1, it was absolute perfection and so far ahead of its time. Even played it today again for the first time in ages... praying we'll get a remastered version of this *legendary* game 😍🏁 (Also miss the Zonda Cinque massively in a NFS game 😔)

The veyron and the ccx are all masters when it comes to straights but remember the world is not a straight line...and thats where the paganis and the lambos come to picture.
the Veyron and CCX are built for use in the track, not only for the straight line performance , although the veyron and the ccx have more power than a Lamborghini it does not mean they can't handle a track.

HP2010 Remastered trailer was supposed to bring back the nostalgia and nothing more. Also It's impossible to top this trailer other than remaking this trailer with even better graphics. And yeah, this trailer is infinite times better than the HP2010 Remastered trailer.
It just occurred to me that the Police Lambo Reventon appearance almost feels like a callback to the 2002 Hot Pursuit 2's intro with the slow mo shot of the Police Lambo Diablo's appearance, drifting to chase the street racers and the location of the trailer, just like HP2's intro, was in a forest with racer's offroading before the scene ends on an open road. This game was a masterpiece of a successor to the original Hot Pursuit games.

I honestly don’t know why some people make a fuss about this game being remastered. This is one of the best NFS games they ever made. Yeah I get the car custom section (which is dope). And a good story makes the game appealing but this one is straight to the point pick your car, your destination and start racing. And the best part NO MF MICRO TRANSACTIONS!!!🤬🤬 EA

The reason why there's no Tuning or any Modifications: Those detailed car damages. By adding Tuning, decals, and bodykit will surely adds more Library to be written. I can say the newer Need For Speed damage not so significant, to keep it simple so the game is not oversized in capacity.
Clay Wheeler maybe , but there you have Rivals ... but Hot Pursuit damm it was very good, thebpoint is there is no need to agree customize like MW or Carbon to be good. And this NFS with High stakes, was very good.
You are right there where no tuning, but the game still had that stupid NOS pluss burnout agressivity and silly weapons. It would so much better, if spikes and roadblock was the only weapon for the police. And the racer would had no gadges only his skills would matter, then it would feel more like the old games from the 90s.
@@nfsboss88 Not possible, or at least extraordinarily diffuclt to balance. If the police have no weapons that can be used from a notable distance behind the Racer like the the EMP or helicopter it would be very diffuclt for them to do anything to them if they built even a modest lead. The nitro system is also basically required since the game encourages contact and smashing to do damage crashes are completely unavoidable at times, the liberal nitro is to let people get back into the race or pursuit when those happen. The entire objective of the game is keep the police and racers close because the jockeying and ramming is where the action and fun in. If just getting ahead of the cops a few car lengths made you impossible to touch because the police have no boost advantage or ranged weapons to reel you in or slow you down that would be a very shitty and frustrating game.
Everybody says this and so will I: it's the best need for speed trailer, arguably the last great NFS game and this still gives me goosebumps 7 years on

I was going to buy Undercover back in 2010, but then I saw this game announced, and I changed my mind. Still by far one of the best NFS I ever played!

+Ixionos When I first saw the game screenshots of NFS Undercover, I though it was going to be like Most Wanted 2005, but when I saw some gameplays, I was like nevermind.
Unfortunately, I didn't dodge the bullet of NFS Rivals. I was hoping it would be just like Hot Pursuit 2010, but when I got the game and progressed through it, I couldn't believe how terrible it was... I couldn't drive in peace without cops chasing me every 5 seconds, no pause menus and the annoying as hell weapon system where other racers use the stupid shock waves or ESF unexpectedly... I'm glad I finally sold that game.

I remember watching it the day it was released back in 2010.
I remember getting Goosebumps when the Lambo Cop showed up. Nine years later, and it's still the same.
After Pro Street, this was the Last Great NFS. NFS Heat is great though.
Heat is great, it really feels like a true NFS again. It's just missing the competitive gameplay and multiplayer racing and action like Hot Pursuit.
This game will always be by no.1, it was absolute perfection and so far ahead of its time. Even played it today again for the first time in ages... praying we'll get a remastered version of this *legendary* game 😍🏁
(Also miss the Zonda Cinque massively in a NFS game 😔)

Me too. I remember as well seeing this trailer and it was the best trailer I had ever seen for a racing game and it is still till this day. While I enjoyed heat, this game was the last nfs I enjoyed the most.

The veyron and the ccx are all masters when it comes to straights but remember the world is not a straight line...and thats where the paganis and the lambos come to picture.
the Veyron and CCX are built for use in the track, not only for the straight line performance , although the veyron and the ccx have more power than a Lamborghini it does not mean they can't handle a track.

HP2010 Remastered trailer was supposed to bring back the nostalgia and nothing more. Also It's impossible to top this trailer other than remaking this trailer with even better graphics.

It just occurred to me that the Police Lambo Reventon appearance almost feels like a callback to the 2002 Hot Pursuit 2's intro with the slow mo shot of the Police Lambo Diablo's appearance, drifting to chase the street racers and the location of the trailer, just like HP2's intro, was in a forest with racer's offroading before the scene ends on an open road. This game was a masterpiece of a successor to the original Hot Pursuit games.

Hot Pursuit graphics are way better when compared to other games of 2010
And better optimized as well. It ran smoother compared to other games while having better graphics. Days when EA actually put effort into their games.

Isn't this one of the greatest ever NFS trailers? I've already gotten the platinum twice on this game and even though I'm an OG games fan, this trailer still gives me goosebumps as soon as the Lambo cop enters the spotlight.

I honestly don’t know why some people make a fuss about this game being remastered. This is one of the best NFS games they ever made. Yeah I get the car custom section (which is dope). And a good story makes the game appealing but this one is straight to the point pick your car, your destination and start racing. And the best part NO MF MICRO TRANSACTIONS!!!🤬🤬 EA

The reason why there's no Tuning or any Modifications: Those detailed car damages. By adding Tuning, decals, and bodykit will surely adds more Library to be written. I can say the newer Need For Speed damage not so significant, to keep it simple so the game is not oversized in capacity.

You are right there where no tuning, but the game still had that stupid NOS pluss burnout agressivity and silly weapons. It would so much better, if spikes and roadblock was the only weapon for the police. And the racer would had no
gadges only his skills would matter, then it would feel more like the old games from the 90s.

Not possible, or at least extraordinarily diffuclt to balance. If the police have no weapons that can be used from a notable distance behind the Racer like the the EMP or helicopter it would be very diffuclt for them to do anything to them if they built even a modest lead. The nitro system is also basically required since the game encourages contact and smashing to do damage crashes are completely unavoidable at times, the liberal nitro is to let people get back into the race or pursuit when those happen. The entire objective of the game is keep the police and racers close because the jockeying and ramming is where the action and fun in.
If just getting ahead of the cops a few car lengths made you impossible to touch because the police have no boost advantage or ranged weapons to reel you in or slow you down that would be a very shitty and frustrating game.
