But I can't really complain about it, this game was practically my childhood and I'm glad that many new players will be introduced to such a masterpiece.

This intro! I remember i got the PS3 and a flat screen at the same time. And when i put the game in, and that music hit, i just sat there for 5 minutes in awe taking it all in.
The graphics were so good, all EA did was reduce contrast and smooth out a few jagged edges. On top of that, from what it looks like, they haven't remade the intro trailer as well. This was the point at which EAs graphical skills started climbing
They did remake the intro trailer. In the original the Reventon is just cruising, while here it's all over the place at high speeds like in a rapid-response situation

To this day, no one really cared about the game (well some do), but the fact that this got "remastered", I'm just glad everyone would focus on it once again. I think that is still unoptimized because you can see some bugs like when the title finish the first version (when stops to sing edge of the earth, you can see that the sound and the title stop before the singer stops to sing edge of the earth). I think that the original version is better but I think that this one is not that bad, it just needs to be more fluent the transition of the titles with the sound (including the Criterion and stellar logos), they need to be more synchronized and the sound (edge of the earth) have to finish exactly the same time as the original. Edit: Oh and the transition of the "Hot Pursuit" title it's slower than the original, so I think it would be nice if they optimize that and make a little faster.

Man I was 14 when I played this game for the first time back in the summer of 2013 and I had so much fun, when highschool came i was still playing it alot and even my older brother got hooked into it and he never really plays racing games. I had so many memories with this game and I'm so excited it's coming back!
Honestly a remake of UG or MW would be worthless. The modding community have outdone what EA could possibly sell in a remaster of those games (licensing for the 50+ cars that modders can add to the games, texture upgrades, ai improvement, etc.) HP 2010 I didn't see a lot of mods for and was actually a good game back in the day. It probably isn't the best choice for a remaster since the game already looks good as is, but it's better than nothing for the next two years after the quick death of Heat

This game aged like wine, imo as a Hot Pursuit 2 fan, HP2010 ranks as one of the better entries in the series. Simple, yet fun, easier to get into, hard to master. Its my goated NFS game.
The Run sucked. Impossible missions, linear, and it takes waaaaaay longer to make that drive in real life, even at those speeds. It should have been a Bullrun/Cannonball, 20 hour game. This Hot Pursuit gave us the most open road to explore of any NFS, but where was the traffic, the cops, when you were just tooling around? Wasted potential there too. I’ll admit, I drove hundreds of miles drunk on more than a few occasion. Just, driving around. The top NFS game they ever produced was Most Wanted 2006ish. Never have they made an NFS more fun and replayable. Just getting the cops to chase you, and using the environment to lose them, crush them, blow em up at the gas station, AWESOME!
Man I am so glad they remastered hot pursuit because when I got into nfs my first 2 games were Need for Speed 3 Hot pursuit and Need for speed Hot Pursuit 3 and then I got NFS Undercover, Prostreet, Hot Pursuit 2010, Most Wanted 2012, The Run, Rivals, 2015, Payback, and Heat and with Hot Pursuit 2010 it always reminded me why I got into NFS and now I get to play a newer version of it.

@@archievedchannel7427 You do realise the reason MW 2012 ended up as a Burnout Paradise clone is because EA rushed Criterion right? Criterion actually had the ambition to make a direct sequel to MW 2005 with a lot more NFS features in it, but EA had to be EA and rush Criterion with the project and force them to have no choice but to create something they were familiar with. I can see why old NFS fans disliked MW 2012 but I actually found it fun as Hell. The police chases and online were super fun features in it and my favourite ones and I can really praise the graphics and DLC support. I had never played or heard of the original Most Wanted when I played MW 2012 in its early days so I had nothing to compare with the original to the new game or be disappointed about. So to me, it was just another thrilling racing game and the map is a real playground. To make a long story short, although it is not the most challenging racing game in the world and hardly resembles the original Most Wanted in any way, I still found it fun asf.

@Shadow Knight Finger On The Trigger by Never Heard Of It (that's the band's actual name) and Everyone Has Their Secrets by Showing Off To Thieves were the two songs that got removed in Paradise Remastered. Apparently the record label for those bands disbanded in the years between; so there was no licence to get hold of from what I've read.
@@incredibil45 sure but them 'Electronic Arts presents' 'A Criterion Games Production' with be out sync. So they had two choices and obviously Hot Pursuit is just on beat and the others are three so that fits a bit more.
It's almost a direct port of the original with some minor tweaks. I'm glad they ported it though because now I don't have to buy a 360 to get my hands on this game.
Finally, the best game on the NFS series (sorry MW and Underground fans, these games didn't deserved a remaster) it's getting remastered, and the intro with Bombshock on the background it's so damn epic. Can't wait for the release!

This game aged like wine, imo as a Hot Pursuit 2 fan, HP2010 ranks as one of the better entries in the series. Simple, yet fun, easier to get into, hard to master. Its my goated NFS game.

The Run and Hot Pursuit 😍😍😍😍😍
The Run sucked. Impossible missions, linear, and it takes waaaaaay longer to make that drive in real life, even at those speeds. It should have been a Bullrun/Cannonball, 20 hour game.
This Hot Pursuit gave us the most open road to explore of any NFS, but where was the traffic, the cops, when you were just tooling around? Wasted potential there too. I’ll admit, I drove hundreds of miles drunk on more than a few occasion. Just, driving around.
The top NFS game they ever produced was Most Wanted 2006ish. Never have they made an NFS more fun and replayable. Just getting the cops to chase you, and using the environment to lose them, crush them, blow em up at the gas station, AWESOME!
10 years later and is the best on need for speed history's. I love this game 🔥🔥🔥

Man I am so glad they remastered hot pursuit because when I got into nfs my first 2 games were Need for Speed 3 Hot pursuit and Need for speed Hot Pursuit 3 and then I got NFS Undercover, Prostreet, Hot Pursuit 2010, Most Wanted 2012, The Run, Rivals, 2015, Payback, and Heat and with Hot Pursuit 2010 it always reminded me why I got into NFS and now I get to play a newer version of it.
I’m so happy that the remastered came out I’m gonna 100 percent buy it when it comes out in November

@@archievedchannel7427 You do realise the reason MW 2012 ended up as a Burnout Paradise clone is because EA rushed Criterion right? Criterion actually had the ambition to make a direct sequel to MW 2005 with a lot more NFS features in it, but EA had to be EA and rush Criterion with the project and force them to have no choice but to create something they were familiar with. I can see why old NFS fans disliked MW 2012 but I actually found it fun as Hell. The police chases and online were super fun features in it and my favourite ones and I can really praise the graphics and DLC support. I had never played or heard of the original Most Wanted when I played MW 2012 in its early days so I had nothing to compare with the original to the new game or be disappointed about. So to me, it was just another thrilling racing game and the map is a real playground. To make a long story short, although it is not the most challenging racing game in the world and hardly resembles the original Most Wanted in any way, I still found it fun asf.

The intro is more worse on the Remastered version....
It is not fully optimized yet, they probably want to optimize gameplay first then at the final stretch before release they will optimize the intro

@Shadow Knight Finger On The Trigger by Never Heard Of It (that's the band's actual name) and Everyone Has Their Secrets by Showing Off To Thieves were the two songs that got removed in Paradise Remastered. Apparently the record label for those bands disbanded in the years between; so there was no licence to get hold of from what I've read.
0:18 the title logo is so out of sync with the music effects, look at the original..
Because the original had not Stellar in it. Thats why Hot Pursuit is out of sync.

So they had two choices and obviously Hot Pursuit is just on beat and the others are three so that fits a bit more.

It's almost a direct port of the original with some minor tweaks. I'm glad they ported it though because now I don't have to buy a 360 to get my hands on this game.

Finally, the best game on the NFS series (sorry MW and Underground fans, these games didn't deserved a remaster) it's getting remastered, and the intro with Bombshock on the background it's so damn epic. Can't wait for the release!

Whereas MW and Underground would have an actual reason to be remastered, but that would need an actual investment, so won't happen.

And 2015, Payback, Heat, and this are 10x better than those trash games, no contest.

The original NFS:HP was my first game when I got my Xbox 360. Seeing a remastered version, let alone playing it, was the best thing 2020 had to offer.
Edge of the Earth was a genius song for the theme song of Hot Pursuit as the genre and lyric of it captures the atmosphere of the new games just about going fast.
