Daniel Ricciardo In Major Trouble After Red Bull Statement!
Seeing a fall from grace in real time is like seeing a granny get hit by a frisbee. It looks painful, slow and hard to watch, but you just can’t look away as it happens. Suitably, the driver in question has been painfully slow, suffering mild delusions and keeps on having minor falls that just keep adding up, and it’s now a question of just how long is left. Okay this comparison is getting dark. Daniel Ricciardo has had what can only be described as a thoroughly disappointing self-destruction over the course of the past few years, with not only his McLaren tenure being cut short, but his Alpha Visa Rosso Bull career seeming to be destined to meet the same fate. It’s starting to become a bit sad, as the Aussie is still an incredibly lovable figure, especially in the media pen, however in a season where no rookies were given a shot in the sport despite the strong performances from the likes of Lawson and Piastri proving the potential of F2 graduates, it’s starting to become undeniable that there are people who would likely make more of the opportunity in the RB car. Having secured just 1 point scoring finish in his 14 races so far with RB, as well as pressures mounting up both behind the scenes and in the media, just how much more bite does the Honey Badger have? Given the looming threat of Liam Lawson in the background, it certainly seems that the final hour in Daniels Ricciardo is close at hand.

I don’t think he will survive the month of April…and I see Checo staying another year as a solid number two to Max.
So Liam goes to RB right after China; Daniel stays as a backup for the rest of the year; and he goes to Indycar next year, as they love him here in the US - and I think those cars will suit him better as well.😊
Andretti Indy makes sense, as Daniel will draw sponsor money to the team, and to Indycar in general. Plus, He would bring his knowledge of F1 to them as a team member if and when they get over to F1. Great retirement landing.😉

Let's be realistic, Ricciardo had a couple of good seasons nearly a decade ago, but on average he's managed 8th in the drivers championship and the trend is definitely going in the wrong direction. Verstappen arrived and won his first race in the RedBull and within 2 seasons he had left Ricciardo behind, that was the end, he was never a superstar. Now he's just blocking a seat that someone with real potential could be using.

The lack of respect or at least the lack of consideration towards PEREZ is at least disconcerting, saying that RICCIARDO's marketing power is enormous and without taking into account that VERSTAPPEN is losing sponsors and that Red Bull had to create the Marketing department of Red Bull F1 alone because of the number of sponsors and the marketing deals that PEREZ is bringing in are simply insulting. As a simple example, Red Bull's Japanese GP caps for PEREZ are sold out, while caps for the team and VERSTAPPEN are still available. I hope Daniel finds his way but at the same time I believe it is on another racing category like NASCAR, somewhere where He can perform and most importantly be happy.
