Terrible News For Sainz After Audi Decision!
F1 news is like London buses! You wait all week for something to happen, and then 2 industry shaking stories drop at once! One is obviously the news surrounding Adrian Newey that we are covering in a separate video, but the other one has some pretty hefty implications for the driver marker and potentially pushes some drivers into a corner, and others out of the sport entirely! Truly the silly season is casting a larger dark cloud on some drivers more than others, and Niko Hulkenburg has risen above that, like a Phoenix out of the ashes, to claim a seat at the new Audi project, currently Kick Sauber, from 2025 onwards. So just who is this bad for? Clearly there are plenty of winners and losers to be had from yet another seat being secured, but who does it impact the most?

personally i would love to see a Hulkenberg/Bottas combo as they bring in lots of experiance with them, and bottas is a 10 times grand prix winner so there is a high chance of them signing bottas (if sainz does'nt sign with audi)
Hulk and Val are two absolute legends, on and off the track

I agree... Theo should have the 2nd Sauber/Audi seat.....
I think a great teammate for Nico would be Esteban Ocon of Alpine. He’s got a F1 victory and three podium finishes on his resume as well as proven race point finishes where he beat his inimitable teammate Fernando Alonso. He’s tough, smart, quick, talented, tenacious and is at his best when passing and competing against the top five F1 drivers.
Stroll will be replaced by Sainz
Nico,Audi is just great, Audi will have the pockets and technology to give a great driver a shot at the top, I think Audi will make a splash if F1 and Nico will help rocket them there!
Sainz with Bottas at Audi would be cool and the hulk would be another great addition. Both deserve a seat
Wow I totally disagree with your audi second driver. Saint is only driver outside of redbull with wins last 2 years and he's incredible at making tires last longer. You'd trade that for a rookie? That's horrible lol. Sainz is proven... and not scared of max.

Bearman just signed with RedBull a few days ago.. he will not drive in Ferrari anytime soon, and likely not Audi as well..
I don't think Carlos has anything to worry about concerning employment for 2025 and beyond
(If Audi was only planning to have two end of career veterans it must be that they are holding one of the seats for a particular young gun not available until after 2026)
