As a duo, they where THE DUO/GROUP of country music I think they won every year since they retired as a group if that tells u how good they where Also the singer Ronnie Dunn is one of the best to ever do it in any genre vocally Just fyi
I don't even like country music typically and I usually have a bias towards the version that I heard first... With that being said Brooks and Dunn was the first version of the song that I heard... I was born in 95 by the way keep that in mind... And I love the way these guys sound and again I don't even really like country music but I definitely can appreciate great vocalists in any genre... Also I would like to add just because of this comment I went and listened to the original really good song again I just have a biased towards the version that I heard first..... There's a handful of songs where this doesn't apply for instance that I'll be missing You song that p Diddy did I actually heard diddy's version First but I kind of like the original one better and this is coming from someone who grew up on rap music specifically listening to a lot of biggie and Tupac even though technically there before my time if you will
Brooks & Dunn have always put on a hell of a show. I have been lucky enough to have seen them three times, twice in the early 90s shortly after the release of their first and second albums, and then again the summer before Covid where they were still killing it.
these guys came out of nowhere with Boot Scootin Boogie, they literally played that song every hour on the hour on the country radio stations and it was Dang Good!
Heck...there was a "line dance" created to this song...which was very popular in the clubs... everybody danced to boot scootin boogie. It was even in commercials...a very big deal.
Literally just about every year they were active/recording/on tour, Brooks & Dunn won the CMA award for Best Country Duo. Like, literally. Their catalogue is huge and all great.
Great start to my day...and I think it's going to have a B&D soundtrack. 🎶 Thanks for reminding me of the great music I haven't played in a while. 😊 Like many others, I recommend "Neon Moon," and also "My Next Broken Heart" and "You're Gonna Miss Me When I'm Gone" as upcoming Brooks & Dunn Reactions.
Ronnie Dunn sings lead for most of their songs but Kix Brooks does have a few songs where he leads. My favorites are Lost and Found and Rock my World Little Country Girl.
That falsetto in the chorus is just iconic. Brooks and Dunn were one of the first country acts I heard, when my mom started listening to country music back in the 90s. Even though I don't regularly listen to country, anymore, I can still pop in my B&D CD and enjoy every second of it.
It seems like you’re a fan of country songs with good stories/ meanings, I’d recommend “The Good Stuff” Kenny Chesney, “Almost Home” Craig Morgan, and “The Call” Matt Kennon.
I love some Brooks and Dunn...@MrLboyd I couldn't find a place to msg you at but, give Vern Gosdin Chiseled in Stone a look if you can...Hope you like it...
Great channel. I really feel at least when it comes to country music the initial album released studio recordings are better than any live performance . Give those a listen.
Studio talent vs. live talent. Great comment. I normally dislike live vs. studio...unless I go to a show. I get your point though. Live shows magnify strengths and flaws.
Hi MrLBoyd, Brooks and Dunn really are amazing, at the country music awards they won best duo something like 15 years in a row, I’m not positive on the details, someone else may be able to clarify them. I think you would probably enjoy any of their music. Thanks.
Yes Brooks and Dunn were the best duo ever! Will you please listen to Hank Snow why me Lord please thank you you are absolutely adorable mr. Boyd I love watching you
Ronnie Dunn the singer on this one no longer sings this anymore as it is damaging to the vocal cords. This is a cover as good or better that the original by BW Stevenson. As for Brooks & Dunn seen them multiple times. These guys are hands down in my top 3 all time live acts I've seen. ANY genre!

Neon Moon is a must listen.
great choice
My fave Brooks & Dunn song!
Yep
Brooks and Dunn are not only one of the greatest Country Duos, but greatest musical duos of all time.
Ronnie Dunn is just an amazing vocalist.
I'd suggest Neon Moon by Brooks and Dunn.
This song was a favorite of my late ex wife. We were divorced for several years when she passed, but every time I hear this I remember the good times.
Song written and originally done by the late great BW Stevenson, always preferred his version.
I just mentioned that he was the original singer.

Agree! But really like this too!

Brooks and Dunn did an amazing job of covering this song
Literally just about every year they were active/recording/on tour, Brooks & Dunn won the CMA award for Best Country Duo. Like, literally. Their catalogue is huge and all great.
My all time favorite song of Brooks and Dunn is Believe. Bring the tissues though, it's a real tear jerker.
Always love hearing your voice on these reactions. Your low tone is like butter, and I love your appreciation for voice control and lyrical analysis.
Ronnie Dunn sings lead for most of their songs but Kix Brooks does have a few songs where he leads. My favorites are Lost and Found and Rock my World Little Country Girl.

Brooks n Dunn are legends! They have so many amazing songs!
They do a tune called... "believe". Its kind of country/gospel/old singer song writer melody. One of the great story telling tunes around.
This is one of their most beautiful songs. Thanks much for the reaction.
They are fantastic!! If you haven't seen them singing...Believe & Boot Scooting Boogie you'd probably enjoy them!!
This is one of the first country songs I knew and a major reason I love country
Willie and Merle are solo artists who have collaborated. Brooks and Dunn are actually a duo.
Brooks and Dunn are good, but you should try a listen to The Bellamy Brothers. They had a lot of great hits too.
Love that you’re going country!
Do the little girl by John Michael Montgomery! You’ll probably cry
Most of us do.
My absolute favorite vocal of brooks and Dunn, Ronnie is insane vocally and Kix plays the guitar so well
I'd listen to this all the time in the 90's
Neon moon! Red dirt road, brand new man ...Brooks and Dunn are amazing

Thank You for your reaction.
this is one of my favorite songs. something about it is just so right
I'll never forget this live, in concert
Honest response. For a love song, this one is a gem.
This is a cover of the original sung and written by B.W. Stevenson in 1973……the original is the best……
Easily my favorite song by them, and I don't really care for country music but those vocals are just so piercing!
Ronnie Dunn is one of the best voices in country and Kix Brooks with him makes an iconic duo.
Neon Moon from this Concert is Amazing….New Sub!!
It seems like you’re a fan of country songs with good stories/ meanings, I’d recommend “The Good Stuff” Kenny Chesney, “Almost Home” Craig Morgan, and “The Call” Matt Kennon.
Peace, Love!!!
This era of country was great.
This reminds me of good times with my parents as a kid
Thank you.😊❤
"Neon Moon" may be their best song.......
I love this song. Tim Foust and Austin and a few friends cover this song if you're interested. They do an excellent job as well.
Brooks and Dunn take me straight back to 90’s country
Believe is my first a number one then Boot Scoot Boogie then Neon Moon
They are great artists

I love some Brooks and Dunn...@MrLboyd I couldn't find a place to msg you at but, give Vern Gosdin Chiseled in Stone a look if you can...Hope you like it...

Live you you can hear the raw talent that is how i determine if they are good
Lmao me jamming out to this like 💃👀🎉
Ronnie dunn has the most beautiful voice.
A must hear is Kix Brooks on lead vocals - Your Gonna Miss Me When I’m Gone.
Country Artist has no problem with Live!
THE PROOF IS IN THE PUDDING!!!!!!! IF YOU DON'T SOUND AS GOOD OR BETTER LIVE THEN YOU CAN'T HANG. PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ur right! Live performances provide the " tells " of the artists true talent.
You've got to find a live version of "If You See Him , If You See Her" with Reba.
Brooks and Dunn - Legends. watch that same concert (At Cains) - Red Dirt Road...
red dirt road by them is a great song .
This is a cover.
B.W. Stevenson did this in 73'.
One of the best groups hands down
Great choice I hope you really liked it do your self a favor and try hard working man. Or Hillbilly deluxe 👍👍 they're awesome 😎❤️🌎✌️
boot scootin boogie!!! from them or try "if you wanna play in texas" from alabama...
Ronnie Dunn didn't want to cover this famous song. I am glad they talked him into doing the song!
Great channel. I really feel at least when it comes to country music the initial album released studio recordings are better than any live performance . Give those a listen.
try "Have You Seen Her" the duet they do with Reba Macintyre. That one shows off everyone's talents.
Studio talent vs. live talent. Great comment. I normally dislike live vs. studio...unless I go to a show.
I get your point though. Live shows magnify strengths and flaws.
Check out Lost and Found by them. Showcases the other voice.
My favorite B&D song
Hi MrLBoyd, Brooks and Dunn really are amazing, at the country music awards they won best duo something like 15 years in a row, I’m not positive on the details, someone else may be able to clarify them. I think you would probably enjoy any of their music. Thanks.
Ronnie Dunn best voice in all of country music. Followed closely by Chris Stapleton of course.
Yes Brooks and Dunn were the best duo ever! Will you please listen to Hank Snow why me Lord please thank you you are absolutely adorable mr. Boyd I love watching you
I think you would like Brooks and Dunns song Boot Scooting Boogie also Thank You
The original singer to this song was B.W. Stevenson. Not taking anything away from Brooks and Dunn
Check out Mexican Minutes by Brooks and Dunn
There is a great version of this with Austin brown and Tim foust from home free it's on Austin channel
Check out the original B.W. Stevenson!
Almost home by craig morgan is a great song
Ronnie Dunn is one of the best lead singers in country music history, period!
Neon moon
That is a very old song this is a remake. They were song writters in Nashville and someone got the idea to team them up.
You should listen to "My Heart Belongs to You", that is one of my favorites from Brooks and Dunn
If you want to hear a fabulous song by Brooks & Dunn, be sure to watch/listen to “When We Were Kings”..
Fabulous (and under appreciated) song.
I would love to see you react to Orville Peck singing the curse of the blackened eye, he sings with a falsetto as well
Please give the original by BW Stevenson some recognition and respect. The definitive version. The story belongs to him not those who have covered it.
You want a yodel do Riders in the Sky. You may know them from Toy Story "Woody's Roundup"
B.W. Stevenson sang it first and he nailed it. the best IMO if you have time listen to it
I would love to hear your take on the Mega Remix of Dear Alcohol by Dax. I think some of the vocals will impress you.
This is a great drinking game, drink every time he says Maria and when he holds the note you keep drinking
Damn you’d be wasted! 🥴
ANY genre!
If true, I'm sure that it kills Ronnie to not be able to do this song any more. A sign of getting old, I suppose
