Welcome to another week in my life (on my birthday) vlog!! In this one, we go book shopping, attend writers week and celebrate my 27th birthday. It wasn't a super indicative week in terms of work haha mostly I wanted to show the fun stuff: seeing loved ones, writing, attending writers week, book shopping and going to a music festival. It was such a lovely week and I'm so glad I got to share it with you 💛

Happy belated birthday, Christy! I'm a March birthday girl myself (I'm actually a week older than you!) and used to feel quite a bit of birthday blues. Your birthday vlogs have helped me so much though! Now I put a lot more intention on my birthday week and try to do things that bring me joy. This year I made a playlist of all my favorite songs and it listened to it while taking a long walk by the beach. It was wonderful! Sending you loads of love and best wishes for your new year!

I've always wanted to know how it's like going back to your normal sleep schedule after those author routines because I feel changing it up that much would wreck my sleep schedule so much. And hey my birthday is this much too! (29 on the 29th)

Are there moments when you choose writing instead of reading? I’ve got a big obsession with reading and validating myself through it and I’m also a writer, but when I get some free time, instead of writing, I read. Does anyone feel that?

What writing software do you use and how do you edit your writing?
I use Word. And for edits, I just copy+paste the document and go over it line by line. I might do a Q&A in a few weeks for some more in depth writing/editing questions 😊💛
