  • The rock reefs near the beach are teeming with fish. Ten fish are here, with more that make a brief appearance.

    Great video! I'm new to snorkeling and love going to the Laguna beach area. I'd love to see some more of these identification videos. Very Cool!

    Very cool! Been trying to learn what these look like in the water as opposed to just on the fishing website. This was really helpful.
    Can you do one for the different rock fish and the difference between how cabezon and kind of look underwater?

      Thanks! I now do more spearfishing than video, but if I find a good place or places for rock fish, I will post them as well.

      @@grego1451 thank you lots. Yeah I’m new to Spearfishing out here and want to get food at identifying the species so I can follow the regs. Lingcod and cabezon look so similar to me lol.
      I’ll just stay away from them because the legal size difference is like 7 inches. Don’t wanna mess up.
      I normally spear in the Caribbean in the summers.
      Where do you spear out here btw?
