They are all so different. Laguna is very beautiful and romantic with gorgeous secluded coves. Huntington is a bit rough around the edges with a cool surf culture and museum. I've always loved Newport because I grew up going there and it has the Balboa Fun Zone and Wedge surf spot. Did you see my Newport Beach video as well?
Thanks for this. I was born and raised there. The Catholic Church on Temple Terrace is worth seeing. The main issue with Laguna in the summertime is parking. It is advisable to get a parking permit from the city. Thanks again for making this.

Laguna Beach is the most beautiful community in the world. I've lived here for 30 yeas and traveled the world looking for something comparable. I guess I'll keep looking

I visited Laguna Beach twice in the mid to late '50s but have not had occassion to return yet. We were visiting my mother's friend, artist Ruth Peabody. I recognize the rocks shown here in Wisk Cove (sp.?) because I've seen them in a painting by Ruth that still hangs on my sister's wall. If anyone remembers the late Ruth Peabody, I'd like to hear from you. I also remember a bearded guy called The Greeter who smiled and waved at all the children. I'm sure he was a much-loved character.
Went here last summer at the end of August, so amazing!! The beaches are beautiful, the water is clear and warm :) The shopping is amazing as well, wish I brought more money last time! Definitely want to go back!
Hi there! It all depends on how much you want to spend. On the high end, Montage is amazing. You'll probably want to be on the beach, so two more modest priced spots are the Inn at Laguna Beach or the Surf and Sand resort. There's also a Holiday Inn and Best Western along PCH and both are decent. Hope this helps!

@HcoMonika Wow, that's difficult to answer. Depends on what you like to do. Do you like the city? The mountains? The beach? The desert? Do you like amusement parks, museums, or prefer to be in nature. There are so many things here catering to every type of interest.

I went to Laguna beach with a bunch of my friends for my other friend's sweet 16 pictures! it was so much fun! But dont make the same mistake as my friend and I did, BRING SUNSCREEN!
Hi Paul, Thanks! Yes, the beaches are quite different and much more beautiful in Orange County. I remember when I started going to school at Pepperdine in Malibu that I was really disappointed in their beaches. I've always been partial to Laguna and Newport. Maybe someday you can make it down and check them out. I think you'd have fun. And yes! That gelato was fantastic! I'm dreaming of it right now but I have to remember: MMEL. Veronica

Nice work! I was watching some videos of the Amalfi Coast and saw you make a comment comparing that to Laguna. I used to live on Ocean Way just above Woods Cove, the most beautiful spot on the SoCal Coast. When you make another Laguna video you can include hiking, my favorite spots are Top of the World, take Park Ave up to the top of the hill and in North Laguna l at the end of Dartmoor take Boat Spur trail takes you up to a marvelous view of the entire coast from Dana Point to Malibu.
