Laguna Beach looks a lot cooler than I had imagined! The cliff walk along the beach would be a highlight for me - walking and seeing great views is always a plus for me. I do like that it has that town feel to it in the downtown area. The food looked really good, and I agree that getting takeout to eat your meal at the beach would be a plus!
Job well done. I am a former longtime resident of Newport/ Laguna Beach and your presentation of Laguna is almost perfect.What is missing is the entertainment part pf Laguna. There are quite a number of well known and very talented musicians you can listen to all year long in places like the legendary Marine Room, the Mozambique or the Sail Loft,not to forget the Sandpiper.Cheers from Buenos Aires!

it is an awesome place to go, whenever I have layover at SNA I jump on the 57 bus to Newport Beach Bus plaza then the number 1 bus to San Clemente, an all day bus pass will cost you 5 bucks and the bus run on the regular. forget Uber or car rental
Nice video, Chris - lots of info packed in! For relatively easy, free street parking and more uncrowded seclusion, I love Crescent Point Park, and beaches at Crescent Bay, Shaw's Cove, and Fisherman's Cove, especially for rock-walking. North of Heisler Park in Laguna Beach.
My grandmother lived up on top of the world and there would be concerts down below at the grade school and we would sit on the cliff and Enjoy 🎶.late 60's

I’ve been coming to Laguna weekly since this July as there’s nothing else to do in 2020, but I still learned something from your video. Great job Chris. Glad you included Gelato Paradiso, their Dark Chocolate Hazelnut is a must on every visit. Btw, Goff island near Treasure island is a great spot for snorkeling, the life guards here say this cove is the safest swimming spot in Laguna.

Fun fact: Did you know that Laguna Beach looks exactly like Durban, South Africa? 🇿🇦 From the coastline to the overall vibe, everything seems to mirror each other. It's incredible how nature can create such similar landscapes in distant corners of the world.

@@YellowProductions I live closest to HB and NB so those are my go to beaches.I love Crystal Cove and Corona Del Mar though. I also checked out thousand steps a few summers ago and liked the steps but wasn’t fond of the parking and bathroom...especially with little kids!
We are supposed to be coming to Southern California in about 5 months for a conference (if it doesn't end up canceled). But we can't wait to get back to California and see more of San Diego and Los Angeles and everything in between. These beaches look great. Will have to check one of them out. Thanks for showing us around Chris!
If you ever re-make this, there is a parking lot up the canyon with bus service into town. That's worth mentioning as a parking option. That's what it's there for, to reduce congestion in town from cars circling and circling looking for parking. It's a good option.
Hello Chris ... love your videos! One little possible correction on your most recent vid on Laguna Beach ... I believe that the whale sculpture that you mentioned was an "Orca" may actually be a "Humpback" whale (notice the much bigger pectoral fins) ... tomayto, Tomahto. ... Keep up the good work :-)
