- BEEWAX Wood Seasoning/Polish Demo & Review | Beeswax
Hey everyone! Today I'm trying this stuff to see if it lives up to all the hype I've been seeing lately. I'm not expecting miracles, but it sure would be nice to have some of my wood pieces look better without doing an all out refinishing project. The maker's claim it will get rid of water spots, scratches, and other little "blemishes" that may be on your furniture. If you would like to try it for yourself or are interested in seeing the product details, here's a link to check out. Beewax - amzn.to/2VQRJTo

Looks pretty good, especially since there's no chemicals. Thanks for actually posting yourself using the product and reviewing it not just the same ad I ran into several times before seeing your video!
Love the buffet restoration. Everything looks better. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us! The advertisement makes it look like it makes miracles.
Thank you for showing this product. The advertisement makes it look like it makes miracles. It really basically like any other thick wax. But it does conditions wood that’s dry.
Thank you. Just got the product and will apply. Good job on demonstrating and descent job.
Looks like it did a nice job Sandra! The window seat looks wonderful as well as the cabinet door, I would do the whole piece. The side table I couldn't tell as much but it could have a finish on it already. I would buy it if needed.❤️👍🏻👏🏻thanks.
I thought it did a fairly good job. Than you for sharing your experience with us!
Had this sitting in my cabinet for months, finally stumbled upon it again and googled reviews, and here you are. Thank you for posting this and showing how it is used.
Great review, thank you for the multiple tests
Thank you so much for testing this out so we can see its value. I am about to do some small pieces and now I can go ahead with some confidence…. much appreciated.
Glad it was helpful!
Hello from Turkey. Thanks for sharing so it seems like its not able to create miracles but with that price fair enough :)
Looks good to me Sandra. I’d say pretty big improvement. Thanks for sharing and ATB Mike. Greetings from Chicago.
I just purchased three jars of this same product from Amazon the other day. I’m satisfied with the results of this product. However, I think that this product acts more like a conditioner or revitalizer more than a product for waxing.
I have read from other people that they had to add another product into this same Beewax in order to get the consistency right to be able to be applied directly onto wood and then to be able to be polished to good high gloss.
So far, I have not done the above, but have used the product on some of my wood art and I’ve ended up getting a nice luster but not a complete wax seal as I was expecting. I did notice that my wood art projects did end up with a nicer looking sheen look.
I’m also giving my wood projects a light hand sanding process using a 220 grit sand paper.
Again, I think that the product is okay for bringing life into old wood, but it should be used in conjunction with a good sealing wax.
Thank you for sharing your experience.
All 3 look much better. Think I will get some and try it on my 1920's bedroom furniture. Thanks.
Thank you for this video. I was wondering myself.
Wow!😍 Thank you for sharing!
The pieces look much better!
You did a excellent job and I really injoy watching your video.
I think it did a good job. It can only do so much with old furniture but conditioning of the wood you really notice
For me it's all the Shine The Glow, that's what makes it POP when you want to see it all the Time.
Looks a lot better thats for sure
WOW ! I think it did a great job .
I see a definite improvement Sandra! 🙏💕
It looks great, thanks
Everything does look better, better is better than before.
I’m empressed
Thanks for sharing. I just purchase mine base on your review.
I hope it works well for you too!
I have cleaned my kitchen cabinets because they were sticky. Used a tbsp of Murphy oil and warm water to clean outside cabinet doors. Now I will wait about an hour for drying time and then I will apply beewax. I’m praying it will work. Have any ideas before I start to apply wax?
When I first open this I smelled petroleum. Other users have said the same thing. Beeswax is naturally hard, so this polish is made with beeswax plus some chemical that softens it and something else (mineral oil?) that it's suspended in. The petroleum smell (noticed in the jar, didn't notice it when the wax was applied) does go away, but there's still the question as to what you're putting on your furniture, especially if it's antique furniture. No ingredients are on the label and you can't contact the manufacturer in China.
When I used it, I found that the wax was easy to apply, it goes a long way, and it leaves a nice shine when buffed. If the wood surface has any areas though where the original protective finish has degraded (like varnish) this wax won't hide that, it will sink into the wood on those areas and they will still stand out. Not a bad product, just wish I knew more about what's in it.
Do you have any idea if this works on white cabinets?
How did it work on your cabinet?. I'm thinking about this for my bathroom cabinet.& did the look faded away. Is this something I have to buy every month or so? Thanks you video did sure help 5☆
Good job looks better
Looks good.
Non ho mai visto nessuno così impedito a stendere della cera.
Can it be used on white cabinets
Just bought some and it was solid
not liquid not sure what happened yours looks nice
I just bought some. Thanks for the review.
What are the ingredients is the safety?
Nice
It appears to have done a great job.
Wondering if olive oil. Do same
Hi Sandra. Hope you are doing well.
For a wood surface that gets wet yacht vanish would (no pun intended) be the way to go.
Older dryer wood needs several treatments and longer periods of wax sitting on it b4 buffing
❤😮
Are your pieces still looking good days later? Thinking about using this on our front door. Thanks! By the way your pieces look like they turned out nicely.
Yes, and I especially like how they now repel water.
It looks great! How long did the results last?
I haven't reapplied yet and the window seat and table look good, but I'm thinking of touching up the buffet next month.
Can it be used for cutting boards and tableware?
I don't know if it's safe for cutting boards. Its only listed ingredient is bees wax.
Yes, beeswax is food safe/edible.
We were looking forward to using this product as the ads showed extraordinary results. We received our jars today and are very disappointed. The wax in your jar seemed to be fluid enough to spread. Both our jars are like a solid block, not even a few minutes in the microwave melted it even the slightest. Did you have to warm it initially before you started polishing? Your 3 items came up quite nice 😍.
No, I didn't. Maybe if you put the jars in a double boiler, it would melt. Sorry to hear your problem. I would contact the seller for sure.
@@HomesteadingWays Thank you for your reply, very much appreciated. And thanks for the tip. We will give it a try. Label says 100% Bees Wax. It’s description on eBay site says no paraffins but Ingredients on back of the jars states: Bees Wax 2%, Microcrystalline wax 7%, Paraffins 15%, Mineral oil 75.98%, Essence 0.02% - false and deceiving. Thanks again Sandra, Jude 1:2, 🌷

Well those results look good to me. A jar of this beewax arrived today but because it is rock hard in the container I have found it difficult to work with, hence searching for videos as to how best to use the stuff. I see that your beewax has practically poured out and is quite liquid. Did you have to melt it or warm the container before hand before using it? The only way that I’m going to get this ready to use is to melt it somehow. Has anyone else had similar experiences?
I have heard that is can harden in shipping due to colder temps. I suggest letting the jar sit in a bowl of hot water to get it to melt. Good luck!
Z's Wood Nectar works way better and it's all natural
I used beewax mam.alohomewoodturning.
Huge difference....
Glad I watched, product wasn’t that impressive. You saved me some money.
It made an improvement but doesn't look any better than any other product..
When you wiped it the Shine went away !?!?! Not Good
Yes, I think if you want it really shiny you will have to go over it several times letting it dry in between.
Looks like it is not good. I bought the same product, I'm not happy with it. Not showing any polished look. It's just the same old look before and after.
Looks maybe 5% better but not so good like in commersial
Not the BANYANG!!
Beeswax or beewax?
რა ღირს რატომ არ წერთ
$10-$15.
Compare the ad to the results you got. No, it's a scam.....
I'm not sure. They likely used a lot more than I did.
If you polish the wood with the 20$ it would looks better 🥴
Not good
